Comcast - Weeks of screen freeze ups and pixelation

My favorite news channel is constantly plagued with audio and visual hiccups, pixelation, and complete screen freeze-ups. Resetting the cable box and refreshing the system over and over does not fix the problem.

Hours of frustrating customer support calls never fix the problem. I'm always told how sorry they are for the problem, but they NEVER FIX IT. They just send refresh signals over and over. Customer support (when you can finally reach an agent) can never explain why this happens on just one channel.

Dealing with customer support is a time-consuming experience full of frustration and aggravation. They get over $3,000 from me each year, and I still can't watch my favorite news channel.

User's recommendation: avoid comcast.

Preferred solution: fix reception problem.

Comcast Cons: Lack of real customer support very expensive.

if it is only 1 channel that is having the issue than its not likely to a box or signal issue . if it was happening on other channels or getting interference or pixeled than it could be a box or signal issue and a reset of the box would be option to use as for the box itself they the agents will follow a script and reset will be one of the steps, i.e.

are you cables tight, have you made any adjustements etc.... save time and do the refresh yourself ( in settings) you may want to look at your cable connected the tv and box and to the wall outlet
