Comcast in Tacoma, Washington - Severe Security Issues

I have tried to get into my online account for over a year.. I have a bundled package that includes phone. I don't use the phone, so the rep always says they will send me a 4 digit pin in the mail, this is for 'security' reasons, to prove that I am who I am. Sigh.. Finally a few days ago I got the 4 digit code in the mail, of course it's not working, so I log onto chat.. I am just frazzled, so tired of trying to get into my OWN account should not be this DIFFICULT. Anyway, the ever patient rep I'm chatting with assures me he is the right person and will resolve this issue. I don't even want to hear that for the umpteenth time. I tell him what my log in is, the pin I received, the last four of my social, my security questions, my phone number. It goes on and on. He finally tells me to click on a link and enter the username of wilson followed by 4 numbers. I told him, well my last name is Williams, but okay, if that's what he wants me to do, I will. So I do.. and it says 'welcome Jeremy Wilson'. My name is Lisa Williams! F sake! I inform him of this.. I tell him I'm looking at Jeremy's e-mail.. this is definitely not right. He quickly asks me to try again, really?? Jeremy again. So then he changes my log in to the right one and an new code.. I log in again with all the new credentials. JEREMY AGAIN! Jeremy, I hope maybe you read this, if you notice your password has changed it's because COMCAST is SO EFFED UP. And I didn't really read your e-mail either. After FOUR attempts, it appears that I am finally in my own account. Whatever, I'm certainly not setting up auto pay or anything, for gods sake, how often does this happen? I see where you can file a complaint with the FCC, but that looks like it's only for billing issues. This is a serious security issue! If I was a real bad guy - I'd see if I could log onto Jeremy's account again! But I'm not. I'm good. I need blood pressure meds after today. Anyway, I saved the chat, I'm going to figure out a way to escalate this. Absolutely aggravating and not secure! Fair warning people, how many people are being directed to your account without you knowing it?

I have had problems w/comcast everytime they sign me to a new plan. The latest, I needed to upgrade my cable box. While I talking with the person, I told her I did not want the DVR box but when the installer was done he started to explain how work the DVR, I said stop, I did not want the DVR. He was surprised and needed to make a call, after the call he said it was ok, it would not change my bill. THE PLAN: $149.95+tax=about $164.00. My bill this month $189.13, this included a$10 charge for a modem that in the 10yrs plus I have been with them, I've never had to pay. Now they have me by the balls on a 2yrs contract. Comcast makes used car salesman look like Boy Scout compared to them. They shut down by the Attorney General

Continued poor service by comcast

Service out again today. Can't send business e mails. Have lost internet at least 9 out of the last 10 days. Kids tell me it has been worse than that. Comcast says SORRY. Not sure why we have to pay full rate when we are not getting average service. Listen I have bad days as well as all people and companies do, BUT CMON Comcast. Deliver what we pay for !!!!!! OR give us credits on our accounts. Be better , strive to be better, tryto be better . do something other than just being!!! Aargh !!! I am using my Verizon hotspot to snd this e mail.

Comcast in Seattle, Washington - Phone service interruptions

After several events each lasting days (for over 5years time period) of no phone service had Comcast tech check out the continuing problem. I had tried to resolve the problem by phone each event to avoid the high charge for a service call and finally lost my patience with phone rep answers.Tech found a very old (installed before I bought the house) 2nd line cut and left to rust in the dirt under the house. He removed it, installed a new external new box, new internal outlet, and repositioned the phone line outdoors away from my patio for cosmetic reasons.Took about an hour and ALL at No charge. Very professional and genuinely nice person.

Comcast Technical Support Review from Renton, Washington

I work for corporate housing and I would like to tell you about my recent experience with 3 of your technicians. I had to that were absolutely amazing. Not only where they professional and efficient, but they went above and beyond there responsibility. Their Tech#s are 8364 (Roberto), and 8322 (Will). I would love it if there is a way to reward these two. The third person #8671, was totally the opposite. The way he set up the system was incorrect, when we attempted to login, the password he wrote was absolutely impossible to read. In addition he used the restroom, without permission. Leaving a nasty mess. Without being to detailed it was disgusting. These are fully cleaned and furnished units, with me being the last person in it, prior to the tenants arrival. My opinion is this man should be at the very least suspended for this. Absolutely unacceptable. Thank you, and I would love to have some confirmation that this has been received. Had services with comcast 2 yrs. Moved disconnected services 4/22 no rep told me about etfee early term fees i get my bill to my new address extremely high called to see why they say hey u have 220 in etfees and 200,in unreturned equipment i returned the equipment on 5/16 and it us now 5/25 system has not updates yet so $420,of incorrect charges . spoke with 5 different people no help sound like a broken record how do u sent a customer a final bill that states this your final bill but when u call they state u have another bill that will be sent to you showing the correct amount and expect me to pay that customer service sucks everyone is foreign and sound like a broken record tell u the same thing and will not give u the corporate number to complain. And quick to say we dont have a manager to help you and if they do they will say the same thing. Go to the service center they will give u the corporate number.
