I pay for 50 mbps, Test my speed and I only get 13 mbps download and 2.6 upload. That's not even close if you added them together.

I call and complain and it will work fine for about 2 to 3 months, then I have to go through this all again. It is a racket, they charge you for fast internet, but you don't get the speed you pay for. So if anyone would like to team up and file a civil suit I would jump on that bandwagon in a second, if I don't file a suit first, been on hold now for 27 minutes and counting. The customer service people will lie straight to your face.

Made the last customer service guy feel pretty *** when he tried to lie to me and blame my computer for the slow speed.

Luckily my brother graduated from Purdue in computer engineering, and network engineering and was able to call him out on his lies, so for the last two months my internet has been working fine, and now back to xfinity slowing my internet again. I am so sick of this company and there ILLEGAL business practices, yes it is ILLEGAL to charge a customer for a service they do not provide and I fully intend on gathering evidence and filing a civil suit against this company.

STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST, I made the mistake of ordering xfinity because of the price, well, you get what you pay for, I started having problems on day one, I had 2 tech guys coming to my house, replaced the router and the dvr twice, I tried to close the account and I was offered more channels, I stayed for two months, now I canceled my account and when I did I asked for a balance, and now I got a bill that's more than double, called their so called customer service and according to them there is nothing they can do. Worthless company!!!!

I've been with Comcast since moving to the Stillwater, MN area Fall 2013). I feel they charge way more for what their services offer.

Still in all, not a whole lot of problems within an almost 2 year time span. Would like to see their package pricing go down vs.

way up each year.

Comcast in Reston, Virginia - Charging for 2 months after request to disconnect.

For business customers Comcast makes you sign an agreement. In that agreement they say there are other terms and conditions that are on their website. When you go to cancel service that is not under any contract they bill you for an additional 2 months of service referencing an agreement that you did not sign but was supposedly referenced somewhere on their web site. I found this so outrageous that I have decided I will never use Comcast again and will ensure that they never get a good reference from me. As the CSR at Comcast said "what difference will that make"!!

Same thing happened to me! However, they charged me for 6 months after I cancelled. Once I notified them of the error, they only refunded me for 3 months stating that they charge and additional 2 months + some processing fee.

Extremely unethical business practices.

Ripped Off by Comcast- Again

I am not sure if Comcast is inept, dishonest, if they steal from customers, or all of the aforementioned? To begin, it is impossible to speak to one person. You get transferred from one person to another requiring you to start from your name & address each time. 1) They slow down their internet. I was sold their "blast" internet service (100Mb). It was so slow I couldn't stream video. Now that I have performance (25Mb) I can stream. huh? 2) By their own admission, they screwed up my modem so they "gave" me their equipment to use at no cost. I have the email documentation! But now I am being charged. Each person blames the previous person for making a mistake, but I am the one paying for all of their mistakes. 3) This month, I transferred my service when I moved. I was given a promotional price with the same cable service and a slower internet speed. Why not, Blast was horrible. I do not get the same channels so I called only to be told my cable service was downgraded. Why? I requested the same cable plan. So, they downgraded me on their own but NOW I can go back to my previous plan but I will have to pay TWICE what I am paying now. Gee, thanks but NO THANKS. Come on, this is just horribly dishonest - ripping off your customers. Why do I keep this service? There is no other internet/cable service provider. I hate this company.

I was about to sign contract with verizon ended up signing with comcast where they screwd me with 3 years contract

It is so Shaming . I was about to go with Verizon for my business with one phone line and internet they where offering me 112$ month to month, just called to ask the price from Comcast the guy there told me that taxes in Verizon are high and Comcast is the best. I have signed my lease for business which I closed for a year but Comcast without telling me signed me up for 3 years. the person on the phone never told me that I am going to have comcast in next 3 years even though I had my lease for one year. I called to customer service to cancel it and found out that i am stock with them. and the worst part is They don't let me go out of contract without signing the paper that i am going to pay them 75% of left contract. I have taken Contracts law and never saw similar type of contract when one party tries to go out of contract he can not. This is my civil right to break the contract. and by contract law the damage I caused I might be paying but in this case the damage for Comcast will be 120$ 10 $ a month discount that they gave me. So instead of paying 120$ more a year they now inducing me to pay 75 %, ridiculous. I have contacted to Comcast several times , asked the supervisor they told me they are going to call me and I have never received a call. Last time when i talked to representative in Comcast I asked her to give me in writing that somebody is going to call me but I have never heard anything. Comcast thinks That I am going to pay them, No I will wait till you take me to court where you will definitely loose

I had a problen with the representative on comcast last week and now I continue with the problem after a representative of comcast called me today she told me that the amount that I will pay is 64.58 cent for the month that past due and for the next month but I think that your representative say something by phone and when I call to make a payment I have to pay 125 dollars. I want to know what is the game that your representative have it. When I called comcast to check how much I had to pay for Wi-Fi the representatives told me that if I get the wifi the installation will be free. I said to the representative that I will call back that I need to check other company and he said that if I hang up and call back I have to pay fofor the installation but because that was my first time call comcast I will not pay for installation. I called today and speak with one representative and one manager and they told me that the representative didn't put in the computer that the installation was free and I have to said to the manager that is not my fault was the representative fault and I can't go to comcast to put in the computer that my installation was free. THAT iS the fault of the representative not mine. The other problem was I never received no e-mail or a bill because the representative put a wrong zip code. I don't like people get advantage of the people and if the representative doesn't do his job correctly is not my fault either

Comcast in Reston, Virginia - Poor Customer Service and NO service

Comcast has been "providing" internet and cable TV using a temporary line to my home for the last 1 year. Every month I go into the Reston office and ask that the line be buried, since I get intermittent service with the temporary --NOTHING till 2 days ago, when they cut my internet and buried the line! I don't have internet now and Brian from customer relations said it was because I was a month late on my bill and Comcast plays with the internet if you are late. I made over 10 calls to agents in the Phillipines, Mexico and Baltimore all in vain. Poor communication and singing in the background (from the Phillipines) and wasting 2 days of work is all I have to show. Brian from Customer Relations also told me that the technician cancelled my appointment beacuse I was late paying my bill. The previous day another technician apparently went to my neighbours home (I am the only one with Comcast) and said that I was not home. DON'T GET COMCAST as a provider!!! I was patient for a year and now I have NO internet service and customer relations could careless!!!!!

I had Comcast for over 8 years and the customer service was horrible. I switched to ATT Uverse and although that are not great either, that are better than comcast.

As a black woman, I found that the black women were nastier than the causian or hispanic.

I would love to work at Comcast to show them that all black women are not mean. I filed a formal complaint with comcast and never heard from anyone and I will stay with Uverse even though comcast is closer to my home.
