I have been a comcast customer for the last 8 years. I am trying to downgrade my service but the only way to do that is to call customer service.

However, the customer service recurrently puts me in a long wait after which they try to hassle me into adding more services to my account.

When I say no, they say they need to transfer me to another agent for the downgrade request after which either the call gets dropped or I am put into a limit-less wait. This is unacceptable and I see no way of even canceling my service!
