Most people know when you move comcast advertising says to let them so I did. Then the rep told me since you are moving to cable ready apartment, you can move and activate the service.

Oh boy, he was wrong, nothing was working. After 4 hours of trying to activate the service.. I call the Comcast and they set me up with technician visit on following Monday which make no internet/ tv services for 3 days and it will cost me $100 for tech visit. Around 4 pm, a tech show up.

He had no idea how the connection was set up in the apartment.

After struggling for 2 hrs, he says my modem had change MAC address and

It is no longer working. I told him my modem was working good in that modem. He brought a Comcast modem and in one connection at family room and activate and somehow manage it to work.

But no TV services and no internet net on the other 2 connection. Now he says my Comcast HD box is gone bad and another tech will fix along with 2 other connection and took off..

User's recommendation: Moving? Make sure Comcast internet is working.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Comcast Pros: When it works right.

Comcast Cons: Incompatance of the agent.
