Comcast - The cost of monopoly
I have had issues with Comcast in the past, mainly about reliability.Recently, reliability is better, and speed is consistent.
Recently I have traveled abroad and have noted that countries in Europe and the Middle East (including second-world countries) have far better internet connections than Comcast provides. Twice the speed in a rural desert wasteland (I measured it) at less than half the cost. We in America are paying the cost for granting cable companies a monopoly as internet providers. The solution?
Allow towns, cities, counties, and cooperatives to provide internet services at actual cost. Cable companies fight against this, and it is actually against the law for my small town to move forward with the plan to provide internet in competition with Comcast.
Get real!Make American Internet Great Again!
Reason of review: Other issue.
