Horrible customer service. This company could care less about any of their customers. I was promised a refund from the manager and I never got one. Even after I reminded her and her representative 3 times about it, I still haven't gotten it back. I got charged over $400.00 for cable that was disconnected over 3 months ago, I have had so many issues with my cable service over the years. This will be my 5 visit to comcast within the last 5 months to get another problem fixed. I have to take time off of work and sit down there and wait for something that they screwed up. I am looking into finding another cable company. This is my last straw. If I could, I would give this company a -1 star.

After having Comcast for over 20 years with no issues, I move to a new address and the service simply didn't work. They sent out repairmen several times to fix the problem but never did. Because of the continuing issues, they offered me a $432 credit which is pretty minimal when I paid almost $200 a month for a year. I moved to a new address and noticed they had not posted the credit to my account. I called and again was promised this would be posted and minused from my bill total. Once again it was not and I called back on August 29th 2016 and was told this would be taken care of, so I didn't pay my bill. On August 31st, 2 days later, Comcast cut my service off for non-payment. I called and spoke with a supervisor and was told that since it had been so long since the credit was promised, they had no way of justifying the credit because they couldn't look past Oct. 2015 which ended up being a lie as well. Finally I spoke with a rude supervisor who agreed to give me the $432 credit but not the $80 reconnect and late fee! I asked for her to have another supervisor call me and, after 3 days one did who left me a message saying they would only give me a $200 credit and I would still be responsible for the late fee and reconnect fee of $80. My business account is with Comcast and I will be getting another company very soon and am having Dish come out this week.

I have never dealt with a company that is more dishonest or incompetent than Comcast. They should not be allowed to operate a business. I tried to downgrade a month ago and was told that I had agreed on a 24 month contract when I added a $20 house phone last year. THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE AND I AM FURIOUS! Furthermore, it took them a month to get this answer for me regardless of my numerous emails to TOM'S OFFICE, WHICH I AM SURE HE NEVER HEARS OR SEES OF THE COMPLAINTS. They cannot prove that I agreed to a 24 month contract because it is an "internal system." So they just put whatever they want into to their system to make money. I will NEVER USE COMCAST AGAIN!!!!! Also, they are not equipped for the service they provide. I can bank on my internet going out every afternoon and they have NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIX IT.

Tell them to check the pole. We had this problem, where the connecters weren't tight enough.

The tech, who came here, finally, after exhausting all other venues, went up the pole. Once he tightened the connecters, we were up and running.

Be careful, though, you could get charged an extra $29.50 on your bill if this is within your 30 day trial. Make sure you ask.

Actually they have you go through an automated contracted verbal agreement system to accept the contract. The reps can lookup whether or not you in fact did or didn't go through that system.

If not, talk to loyalty to honor it on their part. But if you did and you were in a hurry to get off the phone and just ignored the agreement, that falls on you.

At this point I will never give Comcast another dime of my money. My service was suppose to start Sunday, August 16th, 2015. Supposedly a technician came to my townhome, called while he/she was sitting in front of my address and called. I missed the call, it was after I called that I was informed that if I miss a phone call the tech will assume we aren't available and leave. I then learned from several personnel in the call center that the tech stated, my front door was not easily accessible, which is a lie. On the phone, we were told that a tech would be back an hour later, they never showed it was then at that point we learned the person had only out in notes but hadn't set the appointment and could not have any one out for a couple of days. So we call again Monday 08/17/15, we were told we could get a 60 dollar credit and also informed that someone would be out on 08/18/15 to check out our service. We call again and we were informed that we could not have anyone come out until Sunday. I know that were small numbers to a huge business, but this is no way for a customer wanting to spend their money should be treated

I moved from one apartment to another. I got my services transferred to my new address 10 days before my move. But after 10 days in to moving to my new apartment, the service suddenly stops and i was on call with support for 2 hours to know that the service was never transferred at all? Then at that point they create a new account for me with higher rates. Its not all , now I took a package for 50 MBPS speed and I am receiving only 1 mbps... ?? is this what comcast is all about? Now, I was on call with support again for another couple of hours, but they could not fix it. I am so pissed off and I am wasting so much of my time for this *** service.

When I first obtained service with this company my service was fair considering that things happen for whatever reasons. In the last few years the service has been very poor.I have been without service for an entire week-end but you are put on scheduled appointments.I have the bundle package and my phone service always have connecting problems.There are frequent times I can not get a dial tone unless I turn on the compeuter.I have had outside callers tell me their calls goes directly to voice message-it never rings here.I have the added service fee for unexpected problems but I am told (you never get the same answer from all the different people you are referred to)that if your problems are from the inside the responsibility is yours,they only take care of outside problems.When you finally get someone on the phone(not automated)it's usually from another country and that complicates things even further-you're always asked to go through some comcast exercises!I have stayed with the company because it's costly to change and promotion gimmicks are all the same.

Comcast in Nashville, Tennessee - Failed installation, still waiting

Rather than recount my experiences in initial installation (I'm sick of even thinking about it) I will simply say I've been lied to, jerked around, spent 18 hours working on the issues by going to the local office twice and spending hours on the phone talking to people from all over the world. I still don't have the services for which I originally purchased. Simply installing the service has proven to be a task that makes moving here from 500 miles away seem tame in comparison. If you have any other options, explore them first. I would have altered my choice of neighborhoods simply due to comcast.
