I have been on Comcast for a little over a year. I can categorically state it is the worst cable service i subscribed to. I lived in a number of cities and have used many cable providers. I can not understand how Concast stays in business. I have 2 cable boxes: a smart and "dumb" box. About 10 times a month the service just quits. Comcast just wasted many hours of my time over the past several weeks, and it began with an email on January 6th telling me my "current device was experiencing technical difficulties" and that a new modem was being sent to me and would "arrive in 3-5 business days." I got a new box sent to me and could not get it to connect. Made an appointment for them to come out the first time between hours of 3 to 6. No one called or showed up. Made another appointment at same time the next week and still no call or no one showed up. Made another appointment from 9 am to 12 pm and yet still no call or show! Comcast was out on 1/20/2017 to install TV, Phone & internet service at my home the appointment was for 10:30 AM but the installer showed at 8:00 AM he left at 12:00 PM with the job not completed no internet or phone ? after many calls and Comcast saying they could come back on Sat. 1/21/2017 at 3:00 PM to finish the job ? long store short the phone still does not work after 5 days of calls to tech support and disconnect dept. new hd box upgrade,,,,cannot read the info on the tv screen! very small lettering! i had no problem at all reading my tv screen with my old cable box!
