You need to cancel service immediately. Look for another provider especially if you are a paying customer.

There is a lot more "why" behind the scenes and it is only going to get a lot worse for comcast if that is possible. Research DDOS......it is all political. There are some very pissed off hackers, etc out to destroy comcast, MSNBC and large corporations connected to them and the DNC. This is global (Russia, China, N.

Korea, etc). The deep, dark internet !!!!!

Comcast - Extending an extension 2 days out

I think that it is horrible and VERY UNCUSTOMERSERVICE LIKE to not be able to extend an extra 2 days. I do not care if I’m late I pay all late fees but you would rather disconnect and charge me to reconnect than let me pay 2 days later. You guys forget, life happens but we have to suck it up when the services are down!! Straight BS. Will be looking for another provider because you don’t take care of the people who keep you in business. *** , I’m so pissed because I spend too much damn money!!!

Comcast in Oakland, California - Brief Outages Constantly

My Comcast connection goes in and out literally several times an hour for 1 - 10 minutes on a bad day. Disrupts work and is really aggravating. The connections are checked, the wifi is fine, it's the actual Internet that disappears. No solution from Comcast though the tech support guy gamely tried one time to troubleshoot. I'm paying for very high speed, and am in the Bay Area, and so expect *some* reasonable reliability. Interestingly I haven't had any rude or abusive customer service reps, just *** Internet. Has anybody else had this problem?

Comcast Appointment Review from Glen Ellyn, Illinois

My fiance and I have never really had a problem with Comcast until we moved into our new home. Recently we had a sticker on our door that we have a sinal leak and we need to contact comcast to set up an appointment and get it checked out. Thats fine. I called customer service and they were confused. I got transfered three times and each couldnt understand the simple sentence "I recieved a sticker on my door stating I have a signal leak and I need to set up an appointment." Finally the fourth one set up an appointment for us and we were good. The day comes around...no show. I called back after the run around AGAIN and set up another appointment. This time I specifically asked if I needed to be home and she said no, no they dont need to come in. Cool. While at work I recieved a phone call stating that the comcast guy was at my home but no one answered the door and we need to set up ANOTHER appointment. What the heck, I specifically asked if I needed to be home? Im getting so annoyed to the point were im ranting on here instead of going off on the customer service. I like comcast cable but customer service is beyond terrible!

I am so pissed because this happened to me twice. Overbilled and trying to correct it made more problems then ever. Just about all communications are done in third World countries. Each and every one does not know what the other is doing. You have to explain until your blue in the face. They think it is OK just to draw the amount they choose from your bank. They are not supposed to do that because I don't have autopay. I did check my account and it showed my debit card posted. I do not remember when I did this but probably when I first took out the service. Still, they are not authorized to just go in my bank whenever they want to and touch my money. Unfortunately, you have use tact when talking to a supervisor or at least someone in the USA or it makes harder for you. Fortunately, I did talk to billing in the good ole USA and he was extreamly nice and did promise me a refund. If it was the other way around and dealing with someone offshore, then I would have become pissed and who knows what I would say. They would probably hang up on me anyway. My main gripe is that they keep their hands off my bank. Just getting to talk to a real person, you have to go through menu after menu and if you don't say the right word or phrase, you are not connected and everything is repeated over and over again. What happened to personal communications like is was a few decades ago? Here is what I am going to do and that is to remove my card from their computer and that way they are unable to touch my account. I guess I will have to resort to the old paper standard and mail my payment to them. Too bad!! I am never going to pay anything online any more as this is not the first time I had problems such as this. I do not trust my credit card number on the telephone. Yes, it is safer on-line to a degree.

Comcast in Salem, Oregon - Xfinity Guide format PATHETIC

Never had any problems with the old Comcast Guide and related functions. Upgraded to Xfinity because of emails "requiring" the move. And having move DVR functions sounded great. What are they thinking. The visual format is now some under powered knock off of Netflix. I'll summarize the things that are far better than the new Xfinity. The channel guide was crisp, clean, well defined by color coded categories, easy to maneuver. Xfinity has none of those characteristics. And if I wanted to scan an individual channel I simply hit the Guide button again. I sure miss that feature. Additionally, when using the channel guide, the current channel continued to be visible in the upper right corner. Xfinity channel guide completely covers the screen with roughly an 80% grey out of the underlying show. Bottom line, it is barely usable as the visual clarity could not get worse and be readable at all. Actual good functions seem to have been dismembered and then weakly hodgepodged into an interface bereft of intuitive use. Oh yeah, and what is the purpose of a tiny little 10,000 lumen clock on the cable box. Just to sub standard. Maybe it's time to see what competitors offer. Sad to think about as I've been happy with my Comcast for 40 years.
