Why is it taking a year for Comcast to bring internet within Washington PA in a year? My friend is forced to wait a year for his internet, and he isn't able to ask why it'll take about a year for it get to him (word of mouth), because of said companies. Please tell me why it's taking so long -Mike

Comcast - Contract confirmation

I cancelled my service and was not under contract, however your company is demanding I pay $100.00 to end my service. Back in May I called to see if there were any specials since my bill had increased. We discussed packages but I never agreed to any. Then, within a month, I am told I agreed to adding Basic TV Cable. I did not. I never received any equipment for this either. I have not wanted cable TV for years. I only use streaming and antenna for local channels and have for years. I am requesting a copy of my latest contract on file. And, I am requesting this $100 charge be removed from my last bill. I am also filing the form for Demand for Arbitration today.

User's recommendation: Stay away they are great until you sign up and get service.

Not only did I lose all the money I paid out for insurance every Month but trying to correct this situation pulled me away from my special needs toddler. I don't care have hours and Hours to sit on the phone with XFINITY. I should be making breakfast right now.

XFINITY mobile has the wrong phone listed on my acct. When I first bought my phone I bought a note8. I didn't like it, so I exchanged it within 14 days to an iPhone X. I have paid insurance on the x for 3 years. I went to file a claim for my iPhone and it was denied. Turns out the note8 is still listed on my account. I can't file a claim until Xfinity corrects their mistake. However, after multiple online chats, multiple phone calls and multiple escalations my account is still incorrect. So I am stuck with a phone that the speaker isn't working correctly along with some other issues. Not to mention the initial exchange was a disaster. That took multiple trips (all an hour or more away from home) multiple phone calls (all lasting 1-3 hours) just to exchange a phone.

User's recommendation: Go elsewhere or to a store that knows what they are doing.

I have worked with multiple agents with out success. One of my channels is garbled. A new box was sent but didn,'t helpd. Half the time that I am connected with an agent I am disconnected.

Seeing how you PUBLICLY posted your phone number, here, it was probably just a prank caller having some fun with you. Companies don't do pricing based on race.

Comcast - Terrible customer service adn constant outages

Details
When I call to get help with constant outages, I wait for long periods of time, and then once the customer service agent realizes that their standard fix of reset the modem is not the solution they hang up on my. My phone/tv/internet goes out daily for periods of time, and I pay an outrageous fee. I feel so trapped and abused!

We pay $300/month and have no service for 8 days. Why ??????? We have not had any help to improve the situation. What is it you want us to do, try a different service? Someone in this company needs to get out the chair and go to work.

Your customer service was very nice. I do have a complaint about going to go again without a TV for the second time because of the cable box not working. This will be the second box that has been replaced within a year since I have been a customer. Today is Friday, so I will go all weekend plus part of next week without being able to watch TV. I am over 65 and am very cautious about going out because of the coronavirus.

Comcast - I want to pay my bill

I called earlier this month and they told me I was behind on my payment. I could only afford to pay the past due amount. I just got the money to bring my account current and its saying I dont owe anything. In normal circumstances, I would be overjoyed, but I work from home and cannot take a chance on them disconnecting my internet due to a glitch in the system. I cant access my account online and the phone that is on my bill was lost/stolen, so I dont have access to what the system said it sent me.

User's recommendation: Take a drink before you attempt to communicate with them. It’s worse than dealing with the IRS.
