Our remote only would allow us to turn TV on and off and change sound. No other function worked.

The guy I talked to was of no help. He tried to get us to reprogram it. We are both 76 , hard of hearing to some degree , and pretty much electronically illiterate. I told him to slow down, he talked way too fast and was foreign.

We both had a *** time understanding him. He didn't slow down. We said we wanted someone out here the next day. He wanted $70 up front.

We pay for this service, and I had no intention of giving him $70. So, the next morning the remote worked just fine, and continues to do so.

I can only think you guys had a problem, not our remote. The entire episode was extremely stressful, and if this is the best that comcast can do We might consider going with a different provider.
