Comcast is still offering my 60mbps internet and phone bundle to new customers in my area for 49.99. 13 months ago that is what I was paying due to documented medical hardships with both of my children. After countless phone calls, a BBB complaint and an FCC complaint, I am now paying a "discounted" price of $89.99. I offered to pay 64.99 for the package, and they refused. I ran it up the flag pole in corporate as far as I can. Just because I'm not a new customer and in a more financially stable position than I was 2 years ago does not mean I should get raped with an 80% increase. Comcast, that's just not right! Why can't this company be normal like other companies and raise the price 2% every year instead of trying to be so greedy!

Comcast Customer Service? That's a Laugh!

I have periodically reported problems with my Comcast cable service since July 2014. I have had more than a dozen service appointments over this time, but the problems (mainly relating to DVR service and on demand service, but other things too) were never fixed until recently when a technician identified a problem with the signal coming into our house and submitted a work order to have the hardware in the box outside our house fixed. I have been repeatedly told that I would receive a credit for the problems with our cable service, but that I had to wait until the problems were fixed and the final bill provided until the credit could be provided. After a very long and frustrating discussion with Lawrence in the billing department – who ultimately hung up on me – I was offered a total credit of $60 (about 20% of this month's bill) as compensation for two years of spotty service, customer service calls and technician visits. I was told a larger credit could not be provided because Comcast only allows customers to dispute charges for 60 days. Enforcing this policy to limit my credit seems decidedly unfair where Comcast not only failed to fix my service for two years, but also specifically told me I could not request a credit until my problems were resolved. I was also told a larger credit could not be provided because I had only reported this service problem in September 2016. This is simply not true, as I have called Comcast multiple times since July 2014 to report problems with our cable service, DVR service and on demand service and scheduled more than a dozen service appointments. It seems that Comcast is in the practice of hiring incompetent and very hostile people to work in their organization. A suggestion would be to request to speak with a supervisor rather than the person who answers the call. This may not guarantee that an issue(s) will be resolved. Comcast apparently cannot afford the expense of hiring people who can effectively communicate in English. It is a severe penalty to the customer who is forced to speak to customer service overseas. There is a severe language barrier existent in their customer service division. Additionally, it is insult to injury for a customer to purchase various language dictionaries in order to speak with a Comcast employee. Perhaps Comcast should provide lessons in the English language and PROPER customer service.

Comcast worker outside my 2nd floor window without any notification

On Friday, 2/26 at approximately 12:30pm, I came home (entering my house from the front) and proceeded to my bedroom (in the back). I was shocked to see a man wearing a green shirt with a landscaping logo on a ladder outside my window (inside my fenced in yard). I went outside the back door to find 2 men on ladders - one against my house and one against my neighbor's house. Neither man was in uniform and they had two unmarked vans (one white, one green) blocking my driveway/garage. They claimed to be working for Comcast but did not provide any proof. I then called Comcast and was told that they had no workers or contractors in my area and was not discouraged from calling the police. The workers were able to satisfy the police that they were working for Comcast. Since then, I have checked with my neighbors and none of us received notice that Comcast or any contractors would be entering our properties. In addition, I found it extremely unprofessional that they were not wearing uniforms, using marked vehicles or carrying ID. And the Comcast record-keeping is so bad that they denied they had workers or contractors on my property and allowed me to call the police on them. Overall, I remain very angry and feel violated by this experience - imagine finding a man outside your second floor window without any prior warning! That is simply unacceptable that the City allows Comcast to be operate in this manner.

Comcast Triple Play Review

Kings of incompetence and masters of bait and switch. I ordered the triple play and twice they put it through as a double play. They still haven't hooked up my land line 3 weeks later and now they want to charge me more $$$$$. I've resisted but now I see FIOS on the horizon.
