Comcast in Doylestown, Pennsylvania - No show even before starting the service

Comcast deliver wrong information they said there is no waiting period but when you order have to wait for days and when the date schedule comes the tech does not show up so have to call again to schedule but still no show.This is the worst customer service provider, i can imagine how frustrted all the existing customers are , i have to cancell my order even before the internet is connected if they don' t show up they should atleast make a call but they have no clue.Com Cast away worst ever over promise but under deliver. Hope you show up forever because i am not interested anymore buying their product.

Comcast is the Worst

My boyfriend and I have had problems with Comcast right from the beginning. From different representatives telling us conflicting information, to not getting (but still paying for) services we were not receiving, Comcast has been one big headache. Our internet constantly goes out, sometimes six or seven times a day. We have called and called, they sent us a new battery but that made the problem worse. Now they gave us a four hour window for when they will come and look at it, they call ten minutes before the end of the window, we miss the call on the last ring, call them back right away and no one answers. The guy didn't knock on our door and our neighbor was outside and offered to let him in our building and he said no and just left. There is no truck out front or anywhere on our block and now they're saying we need to make a new appointment tomorrow when my boyfriend and i have class and work. Today was our day off and we wasted it waiting at home for no reason. I wish there was another option for cable here, but there isn't.

Comcast is a company that is forced on us just because we dont have choices.I booked an appontment for my first installation and wasted the whole day.Minutes before the window expired I called and the told me I should continue to wait.That day was wasted.

Almost two years later i wanted to move the service from the current location to a room in the same house.The same thing happend.This time the was no appointment booked while I was home waiting for a technician.What can I say about this company that does not care but forced on us.

Comcast did WHAT???

So, after 15 minutes on the phone with a Comcast service agent, I find out they want the last 4 of my SS#, just to send someone out?! I give them the #s and hear some mumbled reply... and am disconnected 15s later?? I call back after a half hour, having waited first because I thought we were accidentally disconnected and the service agent would call back. I find out when I get the new agent that the 4 SS digits DO NOT MATCH what they have on file, so they won't send anybody out!!! First off, we've had people from Comcast come out before, and never even needed SS#s. So now they've changed their policy and for god knows what reason have wrong information in our file... and I HAVE to fix their mistake?!! I need to waste my time and stand in line at one of their local storefronts with hat (and SS card) in hand, in order to prove what my social security number is?!!???!!!? Something they shouldn't need in the first place. Alll on top of us having the same account for almost 10 @^$^@# years (though TimeWarner traded the area to Comcast somewhere in there). What *** at Comcast thought this up in the first place? It's always been fine in the past to just call our home. For some reason they can't doubt the SS# information is wrong, but they must outright assume the home phone number on file isn't correct, or they could just call us and verify an appointment! Wouldn't be so bad if the phone agent had any leeway, but according to them, it's ironclad and not a thing they can do until I guess what 4 incorrect #s they have on file, or make a special trip to correct their error, in enforcement of a policy that makes no sense in the first place.

Comcast in Williamsport, Pennsylvania - End the Monopolies that Cables Have

Comcast has one of the worst infrastructures and they have no intention of upgrading. It is time to return to regulated infrastructures and required improvements for utilities. The free market system has not provided for cheaper solutions and has not provided better consumer service. All it has done is fattened the CEO bonus. My internet continually goes down the for several minutes at a time over and over. This happens almost like clockwork early Saturday mornings. I have moved away from Comcast in the TV arena but because of poorly regulated infrastructure I cannot get a very fast connection without the cable line that has been in the ground for over 20 years that was never upgraded and is shared with over a hundred users. It is time that these companies be forced to only be allowed 20 percent of the money being paid into them for administrative costs.

I've had the same type of lovely experiences. My dad actually found a real person whom's first language is English and he was from cooperate.

He gave me the number and I finally got a gs of the same guy and now I'm getting charged the fair amount m. Which is still way over-priced.

I feel your pain. They are so money hungry, it's pathetic.

For the past two months I have tried to resolve my issue with Comcast over my Internet service. There have been a total of 3 techs from Comcast to my home. The first tech installed a new modem and told me a new line was needed which Comcast would install within 2 weeks. Never happened. The second tech agreed with the first tech and told me a supervisor would contact me. Never happened. The third tech split my cable line to my computer and now service is worse than it was initially.I have called repeatedly. Last evening I used the website to "chat" with a rep and 3 different reps. blew me off. There was to be a rep at my home today. No rep and no call.

If you want to save money on your Comcast bill call 877-824-2288 and ask to speak to the RETENTION Department. They will give you promotions and discounts that no other department can give you.

The promos generally last for 6 months so you have to callback every 6 months. It is worth the trouble because you can get discounts of 25-50%

Comcast...should be cast out! Bad Bad company!

There is little good to say about this company. When you get wireless internet and they supply you with the netgear box...you can't get any help if it isn't working. Not unless you sign up for some second hand company for $100.00 a year. (I have yet to call and be helped, because of some "technical difficulties" on their end) The reason for this? It's because when you get the box it's already out of its three month warranty. Comcast buys them far in advance and then they let them sit and the warranty goes "poof". So then neither Comcast can help...cause it's not their box and Netgear won't help cause the warranty expired. If you call and are ever lucky, hahaha, enough for someone to answer I hope you are ready to settle in for, well...forever comes to mind. Everyone passes the buck, no one knows anything! I have been in tears over my frustration with these people. I have written the president of the company and received a call from some flunky, whose job it is, is to keep people like me from the president of the company. Now, what a nice guy, he gave me his number, "in case you ever have another problem, I'll patch you right in to the top guys" only...if you answer your phone or return your messages, which he, apparently does not do. So, another dead end...what a shock! And now...yeah, this is the best (and I've left TONS OF STUFF OUT) I find out that the whole time I've had my phone, no one could ever call in. Not a really big deal as I only recently got house phones and connected them. I was told this is a problem on their end and it will be fixed in 24 to 72 hours. When I asked what they were going to do, since I have been paying $45.00 a month for one-sided service she told me..."nothing". She said I should have called to tell them and I asked her how often she checks her phones to make sure they work? I don't call myself, specially since I have my cell phone. The worst of all of this is that you get the sense that either people don't care and/or they are working for a company that doesn't care. This needs to be stopped! I think this is definately something that the Better Business Bureau needs to looks into closely. It became almost too stressful, like out of the box frustration and anger in August when I was trying to get all of the hook ups done in time for my grandson to begin online schooling. I was so mad and I felt there was NOTHING I could do, nothing I could say...I felt so helpless and that really enraged me inside. I am not that kind of person, so to feel so helpless and to be denied answers, time after time, it really is a really horrible feeling. I can't even find the words to explain those days.

Comcast in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Lack of Consideration

I was displeased to arrive home from work to find I had no internet or tv service. Of course, after spending an hour on the phone with comcast turning every box in the entire house off and back on I resigned myself to the fact that it was a lost cause. I made appointment to have a technician out the following evening. The next night, no one came to fix the cable. After calling to inquire as to why, I was told that my operator never put in the appointment as she had stated that she did. Of course, even though it was a comcast error, I was left without an cable service. I tried to explain that in the real world, those who make a mistake at work stay until its fixed and that while it is not the technician's fault, comcast has a responsibility to keep the appointment and fix my cable. Apparently that makes no sense in the comcast world. I made appointment to have a technician out the following evening. When the technician arrived, he found that comcast had disconnected me, instead of my neighbor. Thanks comcast. So, tyou disconnected me, you didn't schedule my promised appointment, and I had two days - that I PAID for - with NO service what so ever. I'm finding a new provider.

Comcast disconnects the wrong apartment and won't come out till Tuesday to fix it.

The apartment below me recently became vacant. Today comcast came out to disconnect their cable and internet. However, they disconnected mine by mistake. I called twice and got excuses about why my cable was out. Finally, they realized their mistake. But they can't come out till Tuesday to fix it. I don't understand. If they screwed up why don't they come out and fix it now! BTW this is the 2nd time they disconnected us by mistake. Now I have to go 4 days without internet and I use it for my job all the time. This is a big inconvenience. This is not the way to run a business
