Comcast - Internet Service Review from Somerset, New Jersey

Always an issue whether the picture is scrambled, sound cuts out or both. Always "temporary " outages and complete loss of picture almost like clockwork right around 8:30-9pm. Hope you don't want to watch a live show or movie, you'll miss half of it and have to get it on demand. Internet is a problem too. Losing internet connection when you have your own private wifi?? What a joke. My complex includes free cable in the rent otherwise I'd never pay for this kind of service.

Comcast - Internet Service Review from Somerset, New Jersey

I recently got an updated router. Did the self install and discovered that although i already had service, i have to call Comcast to activate the line. I get on the phone with a rep who can't get it done but is itching to sell me a cable package (i dropped cable and phone and have only internet since last summer). I get a tech on the phone and we resolve the connection issue only to be bounced back to the rep who tells me that i can get internet, phone and basic cable with HBO for ~$86 per month, no contract and not a promotion. I said ok knowing i was going to their office the next day to return equipment and would find out the truth there. Sure enough, it was BS. The rep signed me up saying anything just to make his quota. I canceled the new service but kept the internet. My advice is to drop Comcast if you can or just retain internet and stream your video using Netflix, Hulu, whatever. Cut the cable and join millions of others doing the same and giving all cable companies the middle finger. Go online and look up how to accomplish this and help strike a blow against this monstrous monopoly.

Phone & Internet is the worst | Comcast review from Somerset, New Jersey

I have had issues for over six months with my phone & internet. Phones calls constantly drop off or I can't hear who is on the other line. I've been told constantly by Comcast that they is no issue with their service. Recently, I had Comcast monitor the line and found out that there is a bad underground line that ha s been causing my issues. They have still not fixed the problem and refuse to give me any substantial credit for the service issues. Since they are the only service I can get without putting a Dish on my roof I am stuck and know it. Avoid Comcast at all costs

This issue is still not resolved!!! I have spoken to 7 customer service reps and each one has promised to have their supervisor call me within 48 hours, but I have yet to hear from anyone! My payment is now late and I am hoping that they don't turn my internet off...

Almost every month, our billing amount changes (and, not surprisingly, it never decreases). During the past several years, we have gone from paying $60 per month, to $80, to $160 (and we do not receive increased services for the increased fees). It is an almost monthly battle to get our bill corrected and these phone calls (often, more than one) take literally hours! Managing my Comcast bill has become a full time job. Last week and this week, I have called the "We're On It" hotline (866.671.5645), with even less success (I didn't think that was possible). Each time, the special phone number, the person answering the phone tells me that they can't help me but will have someone call me back in 24 hours. Each time, it has taken me almost twenty minutes to find this out. An not surprisingly, I have yet to receive a return phone call. I don't understand what the purpose of the "We're On It" hotline is. They don't seem to do anything, except log calls, and slowly, I might add. And it's disappointing to say that I pay to be treated this way!
