Each time you have to call comcast, rest assured it will not be a 5 min call. Even if its a simple thing. Range of issues - call drops, you are put on hold abruptly and get transferred back into the waiting que. Recent exp - called to get HBO added to channel list. How much time you would thing this should take? The whole exp between having to speak to multiple representatives, call drops, system isssues for the reps, transfers, consultation of the rep with their managers, etc. took more than 1.5hrs :) am feeling so lucky!!! To top that HBO is more expensive than subscribing to HBo NOW! Comcast marketing/sales are sleeping.

Don't even know where to begin!!! Horrible customer service & shady all around! Their goal is to lock you into a contract that you don't agree to. They do have be bait and switch concept down. My best advice, use any other service!

We had Brad M. Ferrin as our client service Manager and it was the worst experience of my professional career. We switched carriers because of the terrible treatment and service from Brad Ferrin . Brad Ferrin lied to us from day one, he talks slick to get you to sign up for extra services then understates the actual fees charged to us. Brad Ferrin has severe mood swings and has yelled profanities at my staff over the phone and stood us up for scheduled meetings. Stay away from Comcast Business until,they get rid of Bradley Michael Ferrin.

So called high speed internet is no where near as they advertise and is very unreliable. One night it may work fine and the next you cant even check your email. Comcast is an awful experience and i hope no one falls into their trap

Comcast Installation Experience

Cable installer never introduced himself when he arrived. We requested that he remove all old cable wires from the previous cable company. Tech said that he would use the existing wires (old wires) to install Comcast boxes. When we stated to him that we will not get the service done, he got on his phone. He called in two more technicians to do his job duties for him. The 2 technicians performed his duties properly by installing wiring in the basement & bedroom. Original tech dealt with outside & den wiring. The den wiring is all wrong(wrong colored cable-we requested white cable wiring inside house). Tech never properly stapled wiring in den around molding of wall(black wiring hanging all out in back of TV) and he did not install enough white wiring around the wall for the sake of moving TV from one side of the room to the other. On Demand was not even installed in the main box on the den TV when it was stated that it came with the package that we have. Tech said that On Demand will be updated on TV later tonight. He then said that he would go outside to reset On Demand for the TV in the den. He proceed outside and never did reset ON Demand. All three techs left the premises when I thought they were going outside to reset ON Demand & drove away in their individual trucks. This experience was horrible. I am really thinking about disconnecting my new service that was just installed with Comcast based on the events listed above from the original technician. I completed the survey questionaire on phone with 4's & 5's based on the service provided by the two technicians that the original tech sent in.

COMCAST IS A SHADY COMPANY... RUN DON'T WALK

May 25, 2012 - I called Comcast at 9:25 pm and hung up at to 10:16 pm. I was on hold for 30 minutes but that is the least of my problems. I orderd the Double Play package in early May 2012 (TV & Phone) for $79.99. That was the price that was quoted to me at that time. They also told me that I could keep my original phone number. I was put through a "port" phone call to "port the phone number" on 3 separate occasions. Well good luck with that one, of course, I was told numerous times by various technicians that I needed to contact comcast because they "maybe forgot to put the order through" while other technicians told me I needed to contact Verizon (my old carrier). (I did contact Verizon closed out my account earlier so I don't know what they were talking about) However, as we all know, of course, I could never keep the phone number. I got my Comcast bill today and it was $338. I was paying about $75 for just TV prior to my ordering the "Double Play Package" which was supposed to be TV and phone. I was charged for a variety of things like a $100 misc. repair charge, $40 for unlimited comcast (what's that? don't know) small fees like the modem fee of $7 for the "required" box for the phone system, of course, comcast forgot to tell me about any of these charges. Other charges included $84.55 for phone service, $78.25 for TV, $29.95 to activate the phone, $29.99 to install the phone.... need I go on. ARE YOU READY FOR THE CLINCHER : I was put through to the supervisor because the original person handling the call and told me she couldn't help me. Then, I was told comcast that that when I put my original order in she doesn't know why I was quoted the $79.99 charge and that Comast could not honor that price because they would lose money. Comcast was quoting this price all over the internet and TV when I put the original order in. After many adjustments and about 15 phone calls, (I am not exaggerating, I mean really...15 phone calls) I guess I owe them $191. I am truly afraid to get my next bill (I can't switch to a new provider because the building that I live in only allows Comcast) DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, IF YOU READ THIS, YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST... THEY QUOTE PRICES, MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND GET AWAY WITH IT AND IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO WORK THROUGH IT AND GET ANY RESULTS.... TRUST ME, I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ALL THIS BEFORE I PUT THAT ORDER IN.... Life is too short for this kind of aggravation...

Comcast

Billing mistakes handled by people in the Carribean with no authority to make corrections. What used to be simple takes SOOO much time. Double wammy...they make a mistake and customer loses their time. Just getting to a person takes too long. Very impersonal. Their bills are very high. In our area Comcast outsources their installation and repairs and treats the technicians like piece work factory workers. They are all working twice as hard and making half the pay. GREEDY company taking advantage that that they are almost a monopoly with only Verizon as a competitor. Why not do everything to keep people happy instead of having us shop around? It costs a fortune to get a new customer.
