I was acomcast for over 25 years pissed off was paying. 20 dollars. A month for cable now over 150 a fucmin month. And paying 4 dollars a month for 3 boxes for the tv. And. Ten dollars a month for mot why do we have to rent them. With in a year we can buy them. That can go *** them self

X1 installed Nov 2014 , not working right day 1 , everyday have to recycle power to boxes , also voices are not synced , looks like old 70s martial arts movie, called multiple times , got to busy to call near xmas , finally called tech came out replaced box couldn't get on demand on it he decided to check signals , put filters on boxes , 1 day later had no phone or internet. bitched to a manager called ,wanted to cancel for $210 , not my fault Comcast hasn't work day 1. tech came out said previous tech which was not a tech but an installer (little white truck) told me splitter in wrong way . real service tech switched , then found boxes not to have right plug adapters. they been day 1. no need for filters on boxes either. called James T super. Comcast gave me discount on phone cheapest of 3 in the bundle.that's could not pertain previous problems or let out of contract . he got new tech report .which is in code, asked about other tech, no report about splitter he reversed , from now on get hand written service tickets from all techs, if they can't provide them make tech call while you are present .after 2yr contract up never again will Comcast be in my home , 90% frustration due to super James T . not qualified to wipe my a$%%$^^%. Mr. Roberts owner not the son lives in philly extremely nice man would not put up with this if he knew it .

Comcast - Monthly charges

As I mentioned in an earlier post, just getting the correct equipment and then getting the equipment to work was a nightmare. Then I found out that Comcast had given me the wrong remote which would not work with my TV. Once service finally started, I was quoted one price for monthly service but on the 2nd monthly bill it was increased. Prices are constantly rising. Too many taxes, surcharges, and administrative fees, etc. There is much room for improvement in all areas. If you decide to go with Comcast, good luck. Hopefully, you'll have better luck than I've had.

Comcast - Worse service!!!!!!

I moved in in May. Comcast is the only service in my area. I was with Direct tv for 7 year never had problem like Comcast has given me!!!! Since May there's been a TV if not both with something going wrong. From no DVR to no channels to now our internet kicking you off every other hour and so much more. Then when you call they put you on hold for ever. I pay close to $200 a month and this is the service I'm stuck with. I even had a employee argue with me over them being the best!!! Comcast is a joke and they don't care about there customers or the service as long as they get paid!!!

So.. I'm getting my services installed today and I called them and asked if my package would be effected if I add another cable box to my service.. She answer my questions then started laughing after I started to ask about the Internet.. I asked why she was laughing and she answered honestly by saying that she was laughing with her co worker about something.. I've worked in customer service before and I can say that what she did was rude and not professional.. She then put me on hold and sent me back to the call que! Im pissed off about Comcast's *** csr and her poor customer service! I will be filing a complaint about her ASAP!!! I'm very irritated at how she treated me as a customer!

Comcast - Terrible Repair Service and Terrible Customer Service

We have had our TV go out about 9-10 times the month of October. When it goes out there goes my telephone and internet. We call the customer service line and everytime that is a 45 minute ordeal to get a complaint called in. When our whole street is without service each time it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know there is some bad equipment. As much as we pay for our service we should never have problems. I do not know what has happend to this company but it gets worse each day. Also the Customer Service is terrible. Researching new providers and will probably drop Comcast in the end.

Comcast - Press 1 for Intelligence

I don't think my month-long nightmare with Comcast can compare to some of the other horror stories abound here, but like a rape victim, I feel required to share my stories with the other victimized vassals subjected the whims of this evil corporation. In all of my years on Earth, I can't remember ever being treated with such utter disrespect and lack of concern. I've been abroad and seen poor customer service, and longed for the day to return home to America where the customer is king. I guess in this fairy-tale Comcast would be the evil witch or executioner. I sat on the phone for an hour and a half and on 12 different occasions battled through their 1800 jungle full of poorly-paid and hard to understand immigrants to be backhandedly bumped week after week to a later installation date without a clear explanation. And every time a new gangbanger technician comes to my door, there's another *** excuse waiting for me, like a present under the tree. Instead of assessing the entire situation and determining what the main problem is (namely that wires needed to be run from outside and into the street) they decided to do it week after week in little pieces. I am convinced that as long as there is air in my lungs, this company will never provide me with cable TV. After contacting the corporate executive office, I fared no better, but at least the person had half a brain. This company is now officially my least favorite even surpassing the lummoxes at Staples and the nitwit no-nothings at Best Buy. No wonder this country is in the ***.

Comcast - Digital compression I presume

I have a HD Digital and Analog TV tuner in my desktop. I used this setup for local Clear Qam (non-encrypted) HD channels.All major over the air HD (Terrestrial Antenna) is all that is being broadcast now.Living in Fredericksburg Va. meant that I received 4.1,4.2,4.3,5.1,7.1,7.2,7.3,89.1,9.2,26.1,26.2,26.3,26.4,50.1,50.2,and 50.3 all in 1080p plus I could use windows media center as a dvr and the analog stations (they s_cked).Now I have a little piece of s_it that broadcast in 480i and can't record HD.My internet service has been down over 100 times in 18 months.My cable service is a little better.I assume(LOL first three letters I am)they encrypted and compressed their basic service. They did it so us po folk can give them more bandwidth for them upper class people(mo money).As far as theft goes if you had a strong enough signal which I personally doubt, you could let your neighbor(Town home or apartment)use basic unencrypted because they can not see that signal on there system. john_wheeler@comcast.net

Do not use Comcast services, they are incompetant and lie to you, use any other cable supplier

It seems that every week I have to complain about my cable service, their customer Service is indifferent. I have been told of the record by several service technicians that their main service technical service people are incompetant and do not know what they are doing. Everything went to *** following their "Cable Migration' I frequently loose "on Demand" Caller ID on my televisons and HD Televisions, even though I am paying extra. I am handicapped and TV is my "window on the world" Comcast do not seem to care!! I find that often I know more about outages and problems than their contract customer service people do. I would be ashamed to work for this company
