Comcast sucks

Comcast in toms river nj possibly has the worst service on the planet. After having my phone cableband internet not working properly for two and a half years, and after losing twenty days of work waiting for repairmen to come, they finally admitted to an area wide wiring infrastructure problem in this area of nj. They told me it will take them at least two more years to correct. They have secretly offered only the customers that are aware of this wiring problem a twenty five dollar per month credit. Shame on them how about the three thousand dollars I lost by taking twenty days off of work?

I had pretty much the same experience. I am going on my 5th try, and as od now, the tech is an hr.

Late from their 8to10am window. They act as if their time is more vakuable than yours. $20 does not cover all the time I have spent waiting. It is rediculius.

And this is to install cable and internet. I dont even have their service yet....I just recieved a callback statimg they will be there at 12pm! That is 2 hours late!

Again! Worst company ever.

Comcast Sucks!

I have had repeated problems with comcast for 9 mos. No phone for at least a week out of the month for 3 months straight, including them porting my number to a unknown person (then having problems getting it back). extremly slow internet, pixilated picture on tv, service blaming problems on splitters they had previously installed, service saying all was fine, service not showing up for scheduled appointment and not even calling. service reps saying they would get to the bottom of the problem and call me, then never calling me back. service telling me there is a problem in my area and they would fix it within days (that one was weeks ago). that same serviceman unpluged my phone (without telling me) and drove away, no paperwork, no comment, nothing! How do they stay in business? This has been elevated to the corporate level and still no results. I can't wait for FiOs to come to my area! Michael Wessner in PA.

I think Comcast is only interested in selling subscriptions as it seems that is where they put most of their effort into, forget about service when things go wrong.

I tried Comcast phone and dumped it after a couple of weeks. Went back to the " real " phone company that has been here for decades. Similar so called " problem " with porting my phone number. I was lucky my " Real " phone copany got it back for me.

My Comcast internet usually works quite well, until something goes wrong. They always tell me it is " My Equipment " but every time it is " THEIR Equipment " which can take days or weeks of missed appointments, mis-diagnosis and solving of the real problem.

When I went back to my " Real " phone company after such a bad experience with Comcast telephone service, I also subscribed to DSL with the Phone Co. for only 19.95 per month as this will come in handy next time my Comcast internet service goes out of order and I have to wait who knows how long before they will finally admit " they " have a problem and restore my service.

Yep, the traditional " copper wire " phone line from the phone company never sounded better after my experience with Comcast phone service. DSL is pretty good too at 19.95 per month. It's a good back-up for when Comcast goes down.

Comcast in Mount Laurel, New Jersey - Management to busy to handle complaint!

I've had an ongoing problem beginning Dec. 2010...talked to managers, supervisors, customer care reps. I've been stood up w/ appointment, had my service need sent to the wrong departments, 2 or more times. I've had to hold please, for a total of around 2/3 hours, cut off several times and had to call back, through all of it. I might point out that I have payed my full bill on time during all this. I have no desire to go over my problem with somebody new again...done this 3 or 4 times. If you read the log on my account, when a tech. did come to my home, he decided the line that runs from the out-side of my home to your connection at the street, needs to be replaced. I was told this in Dec. last year. I'm missing 11 channels I should get, and several others are fuzzy...I was told there is nothing wrong with the receiver and that you could complete the work w/o me even being home! After 7 months of e-mails and phone calls they had a young customer care guy call and ask if I'm having a problem...please! I'll be droping Comcast at the end of the month!

Management is not too busy to handle your complaint, they just don't want to. I worked for the company and we had so many problems getting supervisors to take supervisor calls.

We were told to handle the call and they can't do anything to help and to take ownership of the call. If you get a supervisor to take your call, you were a lucky one.

comcast service STINKS. as posted by many people here they give you the comcast runaround, attempting to be nice but not effectively doing anything.

there is one person at comcast who seems responsive and will agree that their behavior is poor.

his name is Jack Solenberg - he can be reached at 3020661-8167. my guess is that as soon as comcast finds out that they have someone who is effective, he'll be let go or put in a position that will not be able to help their customers.

I hate comcast so much they have disconnected my service twice and each time I had to wait days for them to get my service back on. NOw its running slow or not at all and I cant even get a tech to answet the phone!! I am sick of this company my email is bnice27886@yahoo.com i am willing to join a civil law suit or just a online protest of the company. Anything just so people will know how much this *** *** company sucks!!! *** we can even go to the owners house and sit there until we get better service!

Comcast is a Fraud & a Waste of Time & Money

FYI - Comcast Personnel get their service for FREE for those who do not know this. And Watch They lie to you about those 1.99 boxes which is you get three and then you get charged after the 3rd box. Also The box that was 6.95 well now its 9.99 it get channels like the big boxes. but it small and no has no time signal. I had the TV and Internet service never really had to much problems. UNTIL I got the phone service all heck broke lose. I have had the service for 3 months and the service is bad. The call logs are not up to date and the message get crossed. Example I had a message so I went on line to hear them well the call was my husband and not DHL service and I had another call the was the same way. I have had Comcast out here almost every week. And Cooperate involve but the issue still remans. All I hear is the engineers are working on it and it a state wide problem. OK if that is the case get your so call top notch engineers and get the problem fix. Its bad enough The 2nd line you have basically nothing 11.99 a month unless you want to pay 22.99 and get the feature you get from other companies for less!

Comcast's employee cable service is not free it is discounted so the agents can assist customers with products and services by having access to it. The only difference with the 2 types of phone packages is long distance and voicemail, the cheaper of the 2 does not have long distance and voicemail, check with your local competitors and see what you get for 2 phone lines with unlimited long distance, voicemail and caller ID before you have a fit!

Comcast sucks

I have used Com cast on and off by necessity for years when there is no alternative. It has never been a good experience. Their customer service is terrible and they always have an excuse for changing and increasing pricing. Calling them is a complete waist of time. Recently I complained about an increase in on my Internet charge and they said that I could take the lower service, which I was never told about, to reduce my bill. Don't you know that the following month they raised the price on that service taking away the savings I had just received. You simply can not win with this company. Please give us alternatives so we can show Com cast our dissatisfaction.

I've been a Comcast customer since they came into being. For years Things were fine, but as the system aged, problems started to *** in. For close to a year I would continually loose the internet and the phone and comcast would send some shlub out to my house, four days later, and do the same thing the last shub did. Finally they discovered that the coax was so old they were surprised anything was working, so they replaced that. Still the same problem. The next shlub replaced the modem. Still the same problem. The next guy ran some tests and found out I had a weak signal. Another four day wait, but finally they fixed the system. Two days ago everything went out again. I called the 'press 1 or 2 or 3 or 4' system and talked to another representative of this fine company. I told her of all the problems I have been have and that unlike their wonderful commercial about giving their customers credit, I have never received any. She ask me if I would be home between 3 and 7 that afternoon. I said I would and she said a repair person would be out. She also said I would get a $60 credit. Well doesn't this sound great. I sat down to read a book and about 1 hour later, all my services came back on. IT'S A MERICLE!!!!! I called Comcast back to cancel the appointment and after getting lost in the "press this" maze, they finally acknowledged my pending appointment. Only problem is that it was for 3 days from now between the hours of 10 AM and 3 PM. Now what if I had been sitting here between the hours of 3 and 7 today and no one showed up? Do you think I would be a bit PO'ed?

Comcast doesn't care about you.

I canceled my Comcast account so my new tenants could establish an account in their names. Comcast however did not notify me that my email address and email would go away, when I called them and nicely asked them to turn it back on as I would be re-establishing service at another location at the end of the month. Comcast transferred me over and over then put me through to a useless, powerless manager, who said the same old, bla bla bla, I apologize but we can't do anything.....Why do you even answer the phone if you are useless and powerless? Do you think maybe you should let people know their email will go away if they cancel.This comcast manager then went on to say that sometimes the computer cancels it, sometimes it doesn't. Really lady, what is the computer, the Matrix? The computer can think for itself now can it? REally? Why doesn't Comcast just save itself the money and hire monkeys who are more intelligent to answer the phone? Oh, then the final thing this manager said to me after I asked to speak with her boss is "oh he doesn't take phone calls"; well how nice, no accountability, I'll just dial 800-blackhole then!

Comcast dont care just want money

for one the cable in my back yard is not covered for over a year. for 2 they keep shutting me off even throw they take my money. for 3 it has nothing but problems and don't work half the time and when it does work it comes of and on. i try to work with these people i pay 114.00 dollars a month for this ***. it shuts down 3 times or four times daily and I'm sick of it they don't credit me for this trouble and they don't care the only time they do care if there here to shut it off. and they say that there customer friendly but that's a lie they say there the best that's a lie if they would give me the thousands of dollars Ive wasted on them for 2 years i would take it and tell them to get lost.if you want to pay crooks then go with com cast so is this what you want out of a service yea right get it together or get lost i repeat Ive got basic and runs 114.00 a month for *** and when they come after months to fix it works for a day i am pleading one more time make it right. if you care email me at drifter763@kissfans.com but nobody cares.
