for the past 11 years I have lived at the house I live at now..ive had about 12 Comcast service tech guys here..my internet has kicked on and off,all day long,,Netflix half of the time could not even watch a movie..tring to do my work on my laptop..was frustraighting...half into my work and internet would say noo connection ...and everytime they would come out they would bring me a new internet box..didn't work..in the mean time..all this was going on.we didn't have another internet provider in out area..and Comcast new this...they raised my internet to 95.00 a month...just for internet..nothing else.. I cancelled my tv and phone service with them..cuz it was horrible as well...so finally midwest internet comes alone ...tells me the reason for my no internet connection is cuz..theres about 500 people that are sharing the same line..i was like what!!! that's why I was getting kicked off..and I ask comcast about this many times..they lied to me and said no...no one is sharing a internet line..and as talking with the people that live around me..there having the same problems...sooo we are all switching to Midwest..i heard they where great..and they have been here 3 times..getting my internet ready...I will have my own fiber line..and share with no one...oh and I pay 49..00 a month...well comcast looks like you have competition.. and I will never have your *** service again,,,

Comcast told me they would charge me 39.99 for basic Tv and internet, and "free HBO" For 3 months. I get the bill and it is 64.55. So I only send them 39.99 since that is what they promised. Next bill is 108.55. They charged me a bunch of late fee's and a bunch of nonsensical fees. I called to complain and all the lady does is reconfirm I owe 108.55 and refuses to drop any charges follows some *** script and doesn't bother to try and retain me once I said I wanted to cancel services. They straight up do NOT care about their customers and will fine any way they can to gauge you. Service was constantly slow and intermittent to boot.

39.99 is the flat price which in most cases don't include the taxes that come with the service. The other fees that they charge you are Modem Rental ( this ranges from anywhere from 5 to 10 dollars a month ), plus state and federal taxes which can range from 10 to 20 dollars a month on top of the service.

So seeing a 64.55 bill is not out of the ordinary. If you fail to make a payment on time with the full amount they will change you a additional 8-20 dollars as a late fee per billing session.

Comcast lieing and charging me for visit i was told was a comcast service prob!

i had a comcast tech come and fix my internet that was broken for over a month. In the process of fixing my internet (which he did fix) he somehow screwed up my cable. The tech had told me that he would not charge me for the service call because the problem was with comcast and not something that i could have fixed. Then i get my bill and i am charged a $60 "unbilled activity fee" which wasnt specified for what it was. So i called comcast and asked what it was for to only be told that the code was for a comcast service problem from when my tech came out and that it must have been a glitch in the system for me to be charged like that and that they would request a refund for me...which i would have to CALL BACK AGAIN to check and see if i actually got the refund. Then i called comcast again to see if they could fix my cable problem. i had called three times and had been on the phone for a total of 10 hours and with nothing fixed! They just kept telling me they have never seen this problem before and to call back if the problem wasnt resolved by resending a new signal. THEN i finally call one more time and talk to a billing person out of all people and he was actually quite intelligent and set me up for a tech to come out and fix the problem that the original tech had made. I then get a call on my scheduled day from the tech to tell me that there was no use in him coming out because there was nothing he could do to fix the problem because it was on a "national scale" and that the problems i was experiencing werent problems they were normal?????? lol! At this point i was outraged to be even told that he wasnt even coming out to look at the problem and called comcast to cancel my service.... only to have them not even care that i wanted to cancel and to tell me id have to call back because the people who can cancel my service arent working today...Beyond done with the problems of this service and the OUTRAGEOUS BILL for their *** service!
