Comcast in Ann Arbor City, Michigan - Requirement to Bundle channels

Comcast continues to require buyers to purchase bundles of channels. In this way they subsidize liberal fake news channels such as CNN. For instance , Per TVNewser, here are the raw demo numbers from last week: Cable News Average Audience (Adults 25-54) Fox News: Prime Time (341,000) and Total Day (213,000) MSNBC: Prime Time (215,000) and Total Day (113,000) CNN: Prime Time (178,000) and Total Day (126,000) CNN averaged a pathetic and humiliating 726,000 primetime viewers and only 531,000 in total day. This is no anomaly and has nothing to do with a slow news week. 89.5 million people who do not watch CNN are still subsidizing all this hate and bigotry due to this practice. I do not want to subsidize this hateful channel. This money is propping up a propaganda machine! Stop the madness...

for the past 11 years I have lived at the house I live at now..ive had about 12 Comcast service tech guys here..my internet has kicked on and off,all day long,,Netflix half of the time could not even watch a movie..tring to do my work on my laptop..was frustraighting...half into my work and internet would say noo connection ...and everytime they would come out they would bring me a new internet box..didn't work..in the mean time..all this was going on.we didn't have another internet provider in out area..and Comcast new this...they raised my internet to 95.00 a month...just for internet..nothing else.. I cancelled my tv and phone service with them..cuz it was horrible as well...so finally midwest internet comes alone ...tells me the reason for my no internet connection is cuz..theres about 500 people that are sharing the same line..i was like what!!! that's why I was getting kicked off..and I ask comcast about this many times..they lied to me and said no...no one is sharing a internet line..and as talking with the people that live around me..there having the same problems...sooo we are all switching to Midwest..i heard they where great..and they have been here 3 times..getting my internet ready...I will have my own fiber line..and share with no one...oh and I pay 49..00 a month...well comcast looks like you have competition.. and I will never have your *** service again,,,

Comcast in Royal Oak, Michigan - Unreliable Phone Service

I had a premium bundle with Comcast for cable, internet and phone service. After about a year I noticed my home phone never rang and family & friends said they called but the line just rang unanswered. After contacting Comcast to investigate I was told that my assigned phone number had been given to a business and I had a different number. They had no record of who changed it or why - it certainly was not me. I was told that the only way I could get my original phone number reassigned was for Comcast to obtain "permission" from the business who now had it. You read that correctly! To no surprise they were unable to obtain that permission so I was left with a new number. I was not offered any explanation or concession for the issue and now am unable to give out my home phone because there is no guarantee it will not be reassigned again, without any notice. The phone has been reduced to outgoing calls only. Ironically, my cell number has remained the same with AT&T for over 15 years, easily ported over to new phones, new service areas and rate plans, repeatedly with no issues or cost. Comcast cannot even seem guarantee a phone number for 1 year. I know their cable and internet and horrible but I guess they cannot even get the basic landline right.

Resolved on August 17th when another appointment was scheduled by my new contact person. A higher up person in the VP office followed up with me for two weeks and credited my account. Resolved!
