I'll keep this brief, as the details have been left with the FCC. Basically, Comcast offered me a package deal that would cost $120 on my first month including installation, and $60 a month thereafter.

I agreed as this sounded reasonable. My next bill was $250. They added extra fees for modem rental, which they never mentioned on the phone, and when I asked the tech why he was giving me a new modem he said it was a "free replacement because mine was old..." in fact this modem was not free, and they hit me with a recurring monthly fee for that as well. They also sent me the wrong cable box and then charged me twice for shipping/handing to send the right one.

I never got the HBO they promised.

My internet is barely faster. I was told one price, and billed twice what I was quoted.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $190.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I liked: Phone agents, Patience.

I didn't like: Theft, Lies, Customer service and lies.
