We had Direct TV but they were so bad, we decided to give Comcast a try. Big Mistake! How can they have trouble when it's stormy-aren't they underground? We didn't have any TV on Super Bowl Sunday with Direct TV and they suggested we get on the roof and clear out the snow from our dish. We didn't want to (we're old) but they said it was too dangerous for one of their technicians to do it. But it's OK for us?! So now, we have Comcast. The TV and Internet went out today. Do we get a refund? Of course not. We're completely at their mercy!

My xfinity home security service had a false alarm and the central monitoring station DID NOT call like supposed to. I have spend 34 days calling and leaving messages for supervisors to call me back and get this fixed...I have not received 1 call back. I contacted the BBB and received an e-mail from someone at comcast to call him. I did call and he stated that what I have been through does not warrant me to receive the early termination fees waived and I still have not received a discount or anything off of my bill for the 34 days my system has not been working properly. DO NOT EVER GET COMCAST in your home!! The people you get on the phone are NOT HELPFUL AT ALL and there is only 1 number to reach anyone at comcast.

Yes, once the initial plans run out, the fees increase. Fact in, customers really don;t need all that extra crud!

Internet is provided in about 3 tiers. Burst of speed is extra.

Most people don't need 50mb speeds with burst-of-speed! Buy your own cable modem and save the rental fee.

Comcast Gateway Router/Modem

Bill went up again. Agreed to a lesser price to bundle all 3.

Called 3 times because new equipment never came.

Still nothing. Next step - different service company.

I responded to an offer for a FREE Gateway router/modem from Comcast. It said I could get much faster internet speed. After installation,It was much slower than my old one, which I had to return to them. I called them twice and got a runaround. The third time I called, I was finally told I could get faster internet speed by subscribing to a higher "tier". I asked if it was free. And, of course, they said no. So I have to now pay extra to get the speed on my old "slow" modem. I feel this is bait and switch.

Agree! Installed mine last night.

After 4 hours, talking to 7 different people, being transfered from the cable department to the phone department to get everything up and running and being "accidentaly" hung up on 4 times I told them I wanted to re install my old one. Thier responce was "I'm sorry.

I can't do that. I do not have that information anymore." Then he gave me a phone number to call that gave a constant busy signal.

Comcast in Fort Wayne, Indiana - Customer Service is terrible

So I called and made an appointment for trouble and was informed it would be three weeks. My girlfriend called the same time I did to get new service, and someone was there the same day. Once you are a customer, they could care less about you. I am not making a judge on once instance, I have had trouble for years. I have dropped service and my hope is that the new provider we have will run Comcast out of town. I strongely advise anyone thinking of using Comcast to check around and be sure it is your only choice.

I used to be a CAE at Lynnwood,WA Tech Repair call center. Comcast Cares Day is a joke.

You had to use a vacation day to participate in the HARD PHYSICAL LABOR VOLUNTEER SERVICE DAY.

Comcast Cares...but not much.

Comcast Cares...about $$$. If you want discounts call the 800 phone number and ask for the retention department.

i moved and comcast sent a man here to set it up they swithced it to 33.00 basic cable without my permission now i have no cable channels my pc is all screwed up i cant get my wireless going and i have phone service with them they told me 5 times my number will not change and it did ,i have a loved one in prison and nw he cannot call me because of their *** *** ups pissed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i moved on june 21st i told cmcast three weeks ahead of time and ask if my number would change comcast did this behind my back now i have no phone no cable and cant go wirelss they sent a guy here that was a contractor and screwed it all up the guy that set this up was chris he works with mtn brrok apts and they say he gives us the best deals this is *** now i cant talk to my loved one in the federal penn

Two times in a row comcast has manage to bring my box down and schedule me an appt. I came back from vacation turn my cable on it work for two hours and my cable was suspended, I called comcast paid the bill, and then my box was inop, comcast tried to fix it remotely no positve results so they schedule me a service tech to come see me and cause me to miss part of my work day, this is so bad, on their part, I hear is that big excuse of a word I am sorry. I guess qwest here I come

Comcast came to set up th service and wanted to make *** in th exterior wall of the house to pass a cable through. I refused as this would affect the integrity of the exterior cladding.

There was an existing hole in the floor with an old cable leading to the basement connection point. The technician tried in a pathetic and slovenly bad willed way to tie on the new cable and pull it through...and of course it broke..he then walked of the job saying they were not okayed to do this sort of work....I then got a private person to run the cable (no problem-took ten minutes of being intelligent and careful) and we then discovered that the internet system which was a part of the deal was not switched on by comcast--but they had been charging me for 2/3 months of NO serv ice.-.additionally we now found that they omited to give us the changer buttons..and the one originally supplied with the TV only switches the unit on and off and cant change channels.
