I have been put thru the ringer with Comcast!! I called on Sat. the 26th and set an appt to be upgraded to the X1 system with internet. The appt was set for the 30th ( Wednesday) I called Tues. for service issues with the phone when the computer prompted me fro an appt for October 14th? I immediately called Comcast and she said her system showed an appt for the 7th? I spoke with a manager and she was very apologetic, and said they would honor the original date ( 30th 8-10) Wed. i called at 11 bc they had not showed up, she said she had to email the dispatch dept, and i should receive a call within 30 minutes..... never received the call. I continue to call all day ( Having to take breaks from work) I am told by a SUPERVISOR the appt was set for 6:22 pm? Never showed up, i call back at 7pm She said he was delayed and was in route to my home, i ask her " How is he going to work in the dark?" she tells me " They have flashlights, and they wont stop working until they are done" I continue to wait for him, until 10:30pm, he never showed again. I call the 800 number back, get the run around once again, this time I'm being transferred from dept to dept ( even some that apparently do not exist) im told i have a definite appt set for today 1-3. just got off the phone with them - they say its a service appt to fix the phone?! The service dept was there Thu. and fixed the phone. I'm BEYOND frustrated!

Comcast - Horrible service in Atlanta Southwest

First, Comcast hook their service to the only electrical outlet on my patio. Then the service goes out every hour and reboots which interrupts what your watching. Second, I tried calling Comcast - automation can't hear you. After keying in on options, the automation switches you to an agent then disconnets you completely. I made 5 calls to Comcast to get the same thing happen every time. Comcast won't even let you cancel their services. Im so through with Comcast. Now, on one of my receivers I get no GUIDE listing. Why am I paying $127.00 per month for poor and shotty service? Please Comcast let me go. Cell #312-623-2814. My cousin is here from Mississippi and witnessed the horrible service of Comcast, she's having her house built here in Atlanta-SW and will go with DIRECTV instead.

Recently my "promotional" package came to an end (which I only found out through a steep increase in my bill.) Called in today to get a new "promotional" price only to be offered packages that were still a good $30 more than what I had just been paying for the same service! Customer service tries to sell me on how much of a deal it is going by retail pricing, but I was just paying much less even than the current "promotional" offer for the same exact service!! Basically telling me that if I want to keep my service I'll have to pay the increased rate! After much back and forth and repeating the fact I have to stay within a certain price range the rep finally offers me a lower package reducing my channels by 2 tier levels!! And that puts me still within $10 of what I was just paying. Now I get much fewer channels with same internet speed at a "promotional" rate which is $10 less than what I was just paying a few months ago for nearly twice the amount of channels. How is this designed to retain customers? It was very frustrating dealing with reps who continue to push a bundle that will bring up my costs without any added services when I was just paying about $30 per month less for the same thing! Comcast doesn't care about customers at all and it shows very greedy company and they are just very lucky to have the only reliable internet around. Cant wait for a better provider to come along in my area!

I have had my service for 9 months now & it has NEEVVEERR worked correctly. The internet (NO exaggeration) DROPS every 10-20 minutes. No matter what time of day. Forget online gaming & I can't even watch a full 30 min episode of something on Netflix without it...

Had the worst experience. Moved apartments, gave them new address. Man assured me I only had to keep the boxes I had. Live in new apartment for 2 months. Cable gets turned off one random day. They NEVER turned my cable over to the new apartment I found out AND expect me to pay a past balance. It is NOT happening. I want to know why my service was not transferred and I never got a bill in the mail to my new address or email and I am told to pay 130 dollars. Not happening. That guy I spoke to when I transferred must be doing cocaine while he's on the phone or high as *** because I STILL am confused as to how a simple task got this bad. Also, that dumb mover's edge commercial- come on! You guys are liars. It is NOT that simple and y'all are retarded. *** 10 *** I used to love Comcast, but they have the WORST customer service. I was given the run around and the people are big liars!!! They never called me back to check on my service. I had to waste time and money to go get 2 new boxes that are sub-par. I am so angry. I hate comcast and hope they fall under. They outsource so many of the calls its sad. The folks don't even know what they are doing in America and they have the nerve to outsource. Ask to speak to someone's supervisor and they lie and say they don't have one. Ask them, are you in the United States and get a VERY hesitant answer of Mexico or somewhere farther away. Comcast you are messing up big time. You guys can kiss my ***. *** you, Comcast.

I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT STAND COMCAST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

Comcast/Xfinity a.k.a. SUCKTAST has HORRIBLE customer service reps. They either don't know the product, can't answer you, hangs up or can't speak proper English. I have YET to have a problem be resolved without speaking to AT LEAST 5 different reps during 5 different call and it has NEVER taken under an HOUR! This is just absolutely ridiculous. They can't possibly wonder why people are switching to AT&T! They need to do an entire refresh of ALL customer service reps from the bottom, up or do some MAJOR training across ALL aspects of "Xfinity". Thumbs down all around-Sorry!

Comcast Sucks

There is nothing good about Comcast. I have it for my home, and a dedicated business line for my store. Both are ***. Call customer service and good luck, not one person you can reach on the phone has better than a kindergarten education, can't figure out what's wrong, and can barely ready the "responses" they are required to read when you ask a question they can't answer. Ask for supervisor - you're lucky if it's not just another *** *** It's as if Comcast pays more money for greater levels of abject stupidity. If there was real 'cable' competition in any given market Comcast would already be out of business. This legal monopoly could only have been created by people equally as *** as Comcast - Congress. There is no competition, this is a monopoly, plain and simple. Comcast should be forced out of business under RICO laws.

Comcast in Atlanta, Georgia - Fraud and Deceit!

I don't trust these guys. I signed up for 2 years (Triple Play) and was sent equipment. The modem went bad after the first week, and again the second I spent my own money to buy a modem that they then told me was incompatable. I was told that the Plan THEY signed me up for was too customer friendly and accounting would not honor our contract. I believe this is called FRAUD! Four and a half hours on the phone just to get this straigtened out, and NO ONE seems to have any notes of who and when I last called.

Comcast - Internet Service Review from Atlanta, Georgia

Outage again. Raise rates constantly. Worst customer service of any company. Aren't monopolies illegal? At least I'm "allowed" to have internet through another company. Call back in 24 hrs to check on status? Seriously? I've never had such poor service from any company in my life! If they had competition they'd be out of business! Raise my bill constantly. Horrible. No human available for five hours.

Called to upgrade, set up appointment with a two hour window, got call at one hour and fifty minutes that technician was on the way, waited another three hours, asked explanation, sat on the phone for 20 minutes, told that my "signal strength was too weak for upgrade" and they needed a different technician to show up, tried to ask for what that meant given that they just wasted my entire Saturday ... no swearing or no initial rudeness from me, customer support talked over me, wouldn't let me speak, told me she had done all she could do, and then insinuated that the problem was my fault. All I wanted was a way to ensure that I wasn't going to waste another day waiting for them only to call and be told the upgrade was impossible. Eventually I talked to a supervisor that was much more civil, but the final conclusion was that is was the fault of somebody else. They would get back to me within ten days. Shocking.
