Comcast - Internet Service Review from Miami, Florida

So I called Comcast about my latest bill for a new package. We were only supposed to go up by $5.00. But went up by $14.00. When I spoke the the rep, I was ready to. An el service and told them about there offer I saw on line. $49.99 for Internet with blast up to 75mbps, which they looked at confirmed my info. Email etc. and offered to then sign me up for that package and cancel the pre-existing. They then proceeded to state all info would be updated on my account and I would receive the email confirmation. They asked if I had any further questions which I then asked about the equipment return. They stated I could return to a service center, ups store, or return via mail/ups. I then proceeded to the service center, where everything went down hill. Service center rep was some young punk who gave me attitude, which lead to me requesting a supervisor, who then had to state he wasn't a supervisor just to help his ego, but that he was the manager. Well he really didn't manage was he did not resolve the situation. They stated I could not return the equipment if my account had not been updated and video removed, this then lead to another call to Comcast, which then really fired things up. They stated my account had not been updated. Which then I requested to speak to someone else higher up, all were busy, imagine that. Info was taken for a call back which more than 3 hrs later still has not occurred. In the end this will lead to canceled service and moving on to a company that can provide excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE, along with reliable service. The companies that when in the end are those that can take care of their customers and treat them with respect not take them for a ride.

Comcast in Miami, Florida - Internet robbery

I am thoroughly upset with Comcast. I switched over to them from directv and have been a loyal customer for years despite the ridiculous price hikes. Recently, I received a text message saying that I went over my 300GB limit (within 20 days!!!). I have never been notified that my plan would change and that I would only be able to use this amount of. Come to find out last November they have decided to cut unlimited plans unless you want to pay an additional $30 a month!!!!! this is ridiculous and they should be ashamed of themselves. If you choose not to pay for the unlimited they charge $10 for each additional 50GB......

This one of the worse monopoly companies in south florida. I am unable to switch to another provider and Comcast knows that, which is why they slow down the internet at night every night. When I called to complain they "reset" and yes it definitely speeds up, but the next day it slows down again. I called again and they said that was unacceptable and would send a technician. The technician said everything seemed fine, the speed is fine the connection from the outside is fine, everything is fine but told me that he would write on the paperwork that he changed a connection on the exterior to ensure that i wouldn't be charge for them to come out and there wasn't an issue. I told him to do whatever he wanted because I was not going to pay anything, zero. Biggest scam, if only they wouldn't steal from me and deliver what I am paying for.

I hate Comcast

I had Comcast internet service for 1 month before i moved to my new place and requested the service to be installed in my new place. I add cable to it as well. I called on Feb.28 and next day I received the cable boxes but i had no conection for the cable nor internet. I called Comcast and the next available visit they had would be for Thursday march 7th. The technitian came to my bulding, called me from his cell phone asking what kind of service I requested, I explained it was for internet and cable and he aswered me: My paper work shows troubleshooting for internet, so I cannot help you. He hung up the phone and I tryed to reach him back without success. I called Comcast and explained all that and they didn't really cared. They scheduled another visit for Sunday March 10th. For my surprise, a technitian arrived saying that the requested he had was just to conect internet, he showed me his paper work and indeed it didn't say anything about cable. Really??? I was more than pissed! I called Comcast AGAIN and explained the situation, they apologized saying that a technitian would come to my house today, march 14th to install the cable. I dont even have to finish the sentence, tright? Of course, NOBODY showed up! I called Comcast AGAIN and i had another nice surprise: I had no visit scheduled!!! They never scheduled a visit for a technitian to come and stall my cable. After being 48 minutes on the ohone with Comcast (note that Im at work, i cannot be on the phone, im in risk of getting called off) they scheduled another visit for next Tuesday March 19th. Now lrts wait and see... if nobody comes again, then I'll cancel this S%^&$@ service and I'll sue Comcast. I have all the calls recorded. I'm just waiting to see my bill... im wondering if they will have the guts to charge me for a service they never provided! Im very disapointed with Comcast, very very very much!

They are the worst! Their customer service tech hung up the phone on me cause I requested to speak with a supervisor to help me with the sudden interruption of Internet for no reason! I am switching to Verizon today.

Comcast service sucks

I've been without internet for almost 3 days. I called in the customer service and talked to them. They said they're going to send out a technician today from 8am to 10am. It's 2pm and nobody has showed up YET! I just called again and asked them why the technician hasn't came here yet, and the lady I spoke to said, shes going to call the local dispach and try to send out a technician as soon as possible, but she dont know if its going to be today or tomorrow. *** up service. So *** disappointed. SMH.

in the last hour i made a call to comcast to fix issues i have been having with what is supposed to be WIRELESS internet i pay for with comcast however they have been of no assistance whatsoever and the representatives in what is called XFINITI SIGNATURE SUPPORT are ALWAYS extremely rude to me, the first time i called the *** hung up on me refused to answer my question and would not clarify my concerns he was rushing me and when i would not agree to pay for the service he advised me of he hung up. today the rep was a woman she wouldnt give me her name she seemed bitter and yet again when i refused to sign up for the service which she said was $9 and change (a $3 increase since i last spoke to someone) she transfered me back to regular tech support and i was waiting for over 20 mins. i do not intend to continue to pay for wireless internet if its not wireless NO ONE CAN NOR WANTS TO HELPS.

Comcast employees are ignorant

I ordered internet service through Comcast, as my wife is enrolled in online classes and we are in the process of moving. The service was set to be installed. Rather than calling her at home, which was the directions given to them. They called me out of town in meetings and unable to help them. They went to the wrong address which was reviewed three times by my request to ensure they could provide service to the new address. I found out after the issue arose not only did they call the wrong number repeatedly, they can't provide service to my new residence. Therefore I wasted my time, and my wife waited for three hours on someone who went to the wrong address, and I still don't have service. I can't believe this went through three reviews and was not caught even when I specifically asked. If this is the type of service provided why even waste your time dealing with people who can't do their job.

FTC hits Comcast CEO Brian Roberts with $500,000 fine. So what he makes over 30 million per year.

Brian needs to reread the Comcast code of conduct where he tells employees he will not tolerate dishonesty from us. Why is he on Obama's jobs council? He should be fired. Do as I say, not as I do.

Obama's slogan about "change you can believe in" should really be "the more things change the more they stay the same".

It's worse being an employee. At the Lynnwood, WA call center a fat sup named Kim Edwards (MOMO) sent an email requesting off the clock work. We are winning a class action lawsuit against them.

Our lawyers are experienced and successful at winning this kind of case and we have the evidence.

Comcast thinks that hiring a Perkins Coie lawyer will intimidate us. It just proves that they know they are going down and have a lot of money to waste.

Comcast has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. 1 their customer service is on a level to compare it to kindergartener, not only do they lie to their customers to their face but they have inaccurate information at all times, not to mention they fail at doing their own job most the times like setting up appointments.... 2 their internet service is a piece of *** since no other words can describe this, I have had issues with them since Adelphia turned into Comcast and still having issues to this day.. 4-5 years now of unstable internet service. After calling for months now on a more serious note and escalating this issue to supervisors and managers no one has yet to return my call or cared to fix this issue. In my opinion instead of wasting the millions of dollars they waste on advertizing false service, FIX YOUR CURRENT *** SERVICE!!!!!

malisimo servicio al cliente, tienen trampas para estafar al cliente! les recomiendo que no lo obtengan y si lo hacen sean muy cautelosos guarden todos sus recibos de bill`s y pagos para que no les salgan *** sorpresas,y si lo hacen llamen 3 veces al dia para tratar de solucionar la trampa que estan poniendo, van a perder mas ellos en pagar agentes por telefono quelo que querran cobrar de mas, no les recomiendo comcast!

es una pesadilla!!! en una escala de satisfaccion del 1 al 10 yo daria un 0

Comcast Internet Services has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. It all started 3 weeks ago, my neighbors contractor accidentallt cut the line that goes from the Comcast box to my home. I have called Comcast and made more than 10 appointments to have the problem fixed. They have sent our 7 different techs. all of which have told us we need a line crew to replace and bury the new line. Our latest interaction took place earlier this week. A crew came out Monday, 6/21, they told us they needed a line detector and would be back on 6/22. They gave us a 9AM-9PM window. I called Comcast at Noon & 5:30PM on 6/22 as nobody had arrived to do the jobm they assured me a tech. would be there before 9:00PM. I called at 8:30PM and was told the appointment was rescheduled for 6/23. My wife stayed home AGAIN on 6/23, we called to confirm our appointment at Noon, 5:30 & 7:15PM. We were told all 3 times, someone would be out by 9:00PM. I called once again at 9 and was told the appointment was rescheduled for today, 6/24. I was told the Tech. called my cell phone at 7:30 to inform me of this change, yet nobody called me at all. My wife is home AGAIn, waiting for them today. Unfortunately where I live, I don't have any other option for DSL service. If you are considerring switching to Comcast, do yourself a favor and DON'T DO IT! They are HORRIBLE!

Comcast in Miami, Florida - Incompentent customer service

Comcast customer service changed my email address without my permission. I have placed two work orders and still do not have the problem fix. They expect me to sit by the phone for 72 hours waiting for them to call me with a solution and the phone call never happens. No one ever returns my call and you can not talk to anyone that can solve the problem. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are so big that they have forgotten who made them big and pays their salary. Me the customer. I'm looking for a different options for internet service. there has to be someone out there that believes in customer service.
