I called this morning at 9am with a request to have a technician come out to fix our telephone lines. Our phones are dead. I was told that a service tech would be out by 530pm. Well a tech showed up at 345pm but he was here to fix our internet..?? We never called about a problem with internet. So, the tech informs us that he does not have the parts to fix our phone system (he needed a modem) The tech says no worries, someone will be out soon. I meant that to mean today.. Wouldn't you? Not feeling very confident i called in again and your customer service department has our issue closed!! Fixed!! Really? Now i am being told that I will have to wait another day for service. What I am really angry about is the tech telling me someone would be here soon when he knew that they really weren't coming at all.

Comcast is the worst company & terrible customer service ever!!!! They take your money & don't care if you have service.

my parents are elderly and for 20 years they been having problems with Comcast. with several call & complaints that we have toward Comcast its very difficult to get a rep on the phone. nine out of ten times the rep will pick up and transfer to a different dept and disconnect me. back to calling comcast again. 1- problems with the phone. randomly the phone will stop working and Comcast dosent take this seriously. 2- cable problems, cable has no service 3- internet problems. now comcast broke the computer and is denying it. I'm writing letter to the ceo brian roberts m brian_roberts@comcast.com maybe it will take some fire under there *** to see I'm serious. my parents are elderly and need phone service. there was an incident in the past where the ambulance couldn't find the house cause the phone was out.. and it was working a few minutes before we called the ambulance and then it wasn't. we weren't aware it was not working until the neighbor saw the ambulance and showed them the house. my mom suffers from dementia and is in need of medical assistance asap! we let this one go but now attorny will be retained is this keeps up!!!!! there is a long list of complaints i have along with existing problems. i had contacted comcast a few days ago. it took me 7 phone calls and 1 hour and 20 min to get a rep on the phone. i firmly asked to speak to a manager. it wasn't easy to be awarded the pleasure to talk with him. finally after the rep explained to me she needs to send an email and wait for the reply. so we did. after all the back and forth alex the manager in the Missouri office. reassured me he would contact me on fir day jan, 23, 2015. it is 7:32 friday evening and i haven't heard a word from him... comcast you stink!!!! about 4 years ago Comcast had blown out my parents tv and denied the problem and said that the tv wasn't working when they arrived at my parents house. ok then why did you have to shut the tv off to do you work on replacing the cable box... my dad sued Comcast and he got a new tv. so Comcast if your reading this i suggest you give me a call to resolve this matter Domenica Mousa 917-355-2234

Comcast - Filing a complaint with the Trade Commission and Florida PSC

I have been a Comcast customer for many years. I remember when they first got the right to run cable throughout the area; and they couldn't do enough for you as a new customer. Now they have a complete monopoly over cable distribution, unless you settle for DSL or satellite, and it shows in everything they do. Every element of the business practice seems to be geared toward bilking more money out of you. I noticed that my internet connection became sporadic during peak hours; repeated calls to reset the modem didn't help. I requested a service call; they sent out some arrogant, know-it-all *** that couldn't be bothered with basic questions about service; just wanted to tell me how much it would cost if he did this or that. I just spent two hours waiting at their Pompano service center only to be told that they wouldn't discuss the account with me, even though I'm on the account and pay the bill. Bottom line: they have a monopoly so they think they can treat people any way they want, without consequences...we'll see...

Comcast - the worst!

After six phone calls, 2 visits, three hour long chats, they still don't have it right. I don't have your boxes, modems, remotes or any other stuff. All I want is internet service, because you are the only game in town. If it was not so frustrating, it would be funny. They are in the computer business, and has, by far, the worst computer software, technicians, workers. My bill for should be less than $30.00, after three months or trying to get this straight, they tell my bill is $180.00 dollars and I still get cable ( I have Dish) have all thier equipment. I do not enjoy Comcast. Don't get me started on the HOA bulk billing!

Here's some feedback I recently submitted to Comcast:

I was looking to switch my existing service to a different package based upon one of the xfinity double deals. I was unable to do so.

I called your piece of *** excuse for Customer Service and was told on Sundays the customer loyalty douches are out. I was also told by three different people that they don't handle account changes. You're telling me that a company that touts 24 hour service and has a customer base of millions doesn't have anyone who can process plan changes in on a Sunday (a day where the majority of people who are off work and are likely to call in)? I call ***.

Furthermore, this pass the buck mentality of your customer service needs to stop. I shouldn't have to be transferred three times from one incompetent employee to the next for something as basic as a plan change. *** I finally asked to speak to the manager of a "new plan" employee and laid into him (saying much the same, albeit in a less vulgar manner). When he was at a loss for words about pretty basic questions (the incompetence was pretty astounding here), I canceled my cable service.

Your company is one of the worst I've ever dealt with. You charge a high premium for not much, and when the customer orders something of the simplest transaction, you not only fail to comply, you give a run-around interference pattern that only serves to anger those you service. That's right, in case you fools have forgotten what it is you do, you provide a ***-poor service. I've since gotten a roku and signed up to Hulu, and find that for $7.99 a month, I have a perfectly good substitute to the *** you pedal.

I've also switched to Verizon, and am encouraging everyone I know to do the same.

I have a strong sense that if the regional monopoly agreements were to vanish, you'd have no customers left, and rightfully so. In sum, go *** yourselves.

Comcast in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Worst customer service ever

I lose cable / internet at least a couple times a month now. I have a home based business (that relies on internet) and I am a college student taking online classes. I just wish I had a reasonable alternative to Comcast, because relying on this company has been nightmarish. I came home from work today, to yet again discover that my house phone, cable and internet were down yet again. I called comcast and of course got their computer menu. I tried EVERY combination of choices. They all, but one, resulted in telling me to call 18005551212 (1800 directory service) and then ended my call. The only option that resulted in something different was the selection identifying me as a potential new customer. Sure - then they picked up. Of course they couldn't help. But they couldn't even give me a number to call. They kept offering me the number to my local cable office, but it was after 6pm and they would not be open. All I wanted to do was report that my service was down. . . . to ensure that somebody was working on the problem. It took over an hour of navigating computer menus and speaking to useless sales people and I got nowhere fast. This is some of the worst customer service I have EVER experienced in my life. I can't remember the last time I was this frustrated. Even after putting extreme caution to not take out my frustrations on the poor sales woman - I was getting absolutely no help. Really? call 1800 directory service? You've got to be kidding me. I've lost money and suffered in my classes because of comcast's consistent failure to provide uninterrupted service. And not having any recourse is driving me crazy. I HATE COMCAST and wish for a reasonable substitute so badly. I'd pay %150 of what I'm paying now, just to do business with a decent company. Grrrrrrrrr.

Comcasts Service Unacceptable!

We are paying monthly, on time, for high speed internet. When we noticed our 'high speed' was SLOW and non-moving, we called and spoke to a Comcast phone Tech/rep. Even though we were connected and our screen showed our Comcast website and email, the rep told us she 'could not see our modem' and we 'were not connected'. We were advised to set up an appointment with a repairman and did so, with the appointment scheduled for the following Monday between the hours of 9a and 9p. Later in the afternoon we received an automated call reminding us of our appointment, set for two days later. The following day we received a call asking us to 'confirm' our appointment for Monday between 9a and 9p (again) and I selected the appropriate options to do so. The following day (Sunday) Comcast's automated number calls to remind us of our appointment on Monday between 9a and 9p and asks that I select the appropriate number on the keypad to confirm - Done! Sunday night just prior to 9 p.m. Comcast's automated 'Service' called three times to confirm (again!!) our appointment on the following day... once again, through gritted teeth, I followed the directed (now memorized) to confirm the appointment. Monday comes, I go to walk my dog, leaving my cell phone in the house, and Comcast calls three times, in a short period of time - to confirm the appointment. When I returned from my walk, I saw that I had missed the call(s), listened to my voicemail messages and replayed the VM messages from the 'living' Comcast rep - asking about confirming the appointment (Again!) I immediately recalled that number only to receive a message that it 'was not a working number'. I called Comcast's direct number and followed the prompts to hear that we had an appointment set for today between 9a and 9p., as soom as I hung up the phone I got another call asking to confirm the appointment???? I called Comcast back and spoke to a rep, and asked how many times does Comcast expect me to confirm this appoinment?? I was told by this rep that she saw out appointment was set and that Comcast requires a confirmation the 'day of' the appointment in order to follow up with the appoinment? I asked the obvious question... then WHY the ten other calls to confirm the appointment??? When it was getting later and we had not heard from Comcast, I called to find out that our service call had been cancelled for not confirming the appoinment! Unbelievable!! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 20 minutes before being informed that 'he was busy' and would call me back - no return call! I called again and selected the option to end our Comcast service and spoke to 'Cherise', who told me that she showed on her screen the high number of calls we had received, but never showed confirmation, she said she was going to escalate the ticket and we had a 90% chance of getting a repair tech out today, she also said she'd have a supervisor contact me - as of this time no comcast and no supervisor call. UNacceptable!!! This is not service

Comcast in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Comast refuses to refund money

I had cable and internet with Comcast. The introdutory fees were ok, but soon after a while the fees climbed. On November 2008 I terminated the Internet (fees were outragous). I turned in the equipment at the local office. Last August i got disgusted with their service fees and terminated the able service. A year later, they are saying I didn't return the modem for the internet terminated a year ago. They refuse to return my money. I hope to never do business with omcast again. In no way before last month a year later did the company say anything about the modem. Who would think about keeping a reciept for a year?

Comcast customer service is world class terrible.

We have had Comcast for 4 years and consistently the internet service is terrible, going out during the day. I work from home. Its critical I have an internet connection. When I call they treat me like I am an ***. Its always my equipment and never their problem. We have not had service for a week and after dozems of call to the Office of the President in Philidelphia from our entire neighborhood, yesterday there were finally trucks out looking for issues. The OOP told us it takes 3 calls from one neighborhood to get action. Otherwise they listen and hang up. Two times this week we called and then hung up and called back and got a totally different story. One time the agent hung up on us.
