Today, I was told that when I removed double play, the representative downgraded my internet to follow the price point. They did this without informing me of the change. From the call, I was told that 25 mb is fast enough for what I was doing. Thank you for telling me what I should be ok with. Thank you for being a pain in the butt since day one. Thank you for making me understand that you do not care that I spent the first 4 months of internet with a 2MB speed that was verified by YOUR people. Thank you for educating me on the fact that it is ok to send me 17 minutes away from my house repeatedly to get a new modem. Thank you for making me wait on you while you repeatedly visited me to try to fix my internet and cable. Thanks for telling me that I did not complain enough to show that this was a “real” problem and should be compensated for. I understand that your cable is faster, but to me it has not been. Any vendor would be the same speed in which you have subjected me to. It has been eye opening to know you do not want me a customer and you do not care how unhappy I am. I will be changing my internet server and finally adding cable back. For I did not care about the money, but paying for a service and positive customer service that I was not getting. You don't have to get a new modem, they are trying to sell you something you don't really need. Weird how they lowered your bandwidth to 25MB but well that's Comcast for you..

doing ridiculous things.

It's ridiculous that they try to force you to get a new modem, well what to do with the old one that still works fine? But yeah i never got a new modem my old one works fine but Comcast is lousy listeners.

Comcast - Internet Service Review from South Patrick Shores, Florida

By far Comcast Internet customer support is the worst. I called 2 days in a row after signing up to find oh how I'm supposed to handle passwords that I was never given. The first time I was blown off, told the Internet was down. The next day I was told there wasn't anyone that could help me. The 3rd day the tech person got the wireless internet working but without a password my printer and Apple TV and IPhone won't accept WIFI. Even though the service is 1/2 the cost of Century Link, I am switching. To heck with the worst customer service of any company out there!

Comcast service prices are subject to change without any notice, the package and price that I signed up for keeps changing (not for the better - increasing). I made contact with customer service numerous times and every customer service representative I speak with tells me a different story as to what I'm being charged for and what my charges will be in the months to come. My bill keeps going up (e.g. this months bill will be ten dollars higher because a review of my bill indicated that I was not being charged for a modem rental). Every single time I speak with customer service they give me the run around, they obviously do not care at all about their customers. Wish I had more providers in my area so I can switch, they are running a monopoly.

FOS!! It is 12/14.

On 12/10 I was billed for 12/21/16 - 01/20/17. Service has been disconnected since 11/22...due to the same BS billing technique. Not to mention that I never received credits for 4 day outage due to hurricane Matthew. My main issue is how can u bill me in advance for something that I may decide to cancel before next month...

Which I am since purchasing a fire stick.

I am not under any contract. They are also increasing the amount of my bill but decreasing the amount of channels....a**holes!

Comcast in Jacksonville, Florida - I was blamed for intermittent internet conncectivity

Approximately after 2 weeks of daily internet disconnects I kept a lvl 1 tech on the phone until we agreed it was probably the 4/5 year old router I had. I replaced it the next day. this cost me another 300 +/- 20 dollars. This did not correct the issue(s). After a trip to the local Comcast store, I replaced the older cable modem with their new one " one of our best" I was told. Not only was it not even close to be a "best" the one they gave me was actually broken, 1st issue with the SMC cable mode is the password would not accept special characters, only letters/numbers... that's not a good thing. the next issue I have with the new cable modem is the wireless could NOT be turned off: I could tailor it, adjust it, modify it, but in no way turn it off. Last and final problem with the SMC modem is it shut off, 3 times, in the 45 minutes I was working with it. I bought my own after a heated re-visit to the local service store (they apparently are not used to vulgar language at the store, so they must be new at Comcast) Today, after another 10/15 minute outage (and this is for wired and wireless devices) a "refresh signal" was sent to the new modem... I was told the modem may be bad. I am thinking att-uverse may also be bad

POOR COMCAST SERVICE

I am SO frustrated with Comcast and the lack of customer service assistance. I have chosen to switch back to Comcast for internet after two years. I was given an installation date of February 20th. The tech shows up and said that there must be a problem with the line coming in to my residence. He then had his supervisor come to verify that this was the issue, which he did. The supervisor proceeded to tell me that we have to wait on a bore crew to install a new line before they can install and that he was placing a work order for it. This was Friday the 20th at 7 pm. I contact the customer service that evening and spoke to someone who told me that there is a work order in for it but was unable to tell me anything else. On February 24th I called C/S to find out the status and he told me that there would be someone here today February 25th to bore the line. Being I have not heard anything from Comcast at all today I called your C/S to find the status and was told that there is not even a work order in your system for the boring. I think this is RIDICULOUS! I spoke to three different C/S representatives at Comcast and been told three different things. How can you rate your customer service high when I cannot even get follow-up information on an installation? I am being forced to pay for internet with a company I am trying to get rid of. I would appreciate IMMEDIATE response on this issue.

Had similar problem in 3/2014 when we bought new house. Went 1 month without service, made at least 6 calls and created a scene at their local office before a supervisor gave me her office #, then started calling her for a week till I got results.

Sat in their office with all their equipment and demanded to talk to supervisor, was told she was Out of office and there were NO supervisors in the building. thought they were going to call security.

I had a technician come out and install internet in our new home, the technician that installed could not bury the cable wire that hooks to the cable box outside of the house because he is not certified to do that, so he said he would make an appointment for another technician to come out and bury the line. The technician was scheduled to come out on the 21st of February and ended up coming out on the 14th of February when I was not home and did not call or email me to let me know of the appointment. Instead of burying the wire HE CUT THE WIRE to our internet so now we have no internet connection through our modem. After 4 calls to them in about 11 hours we have had no fixed issue and have been told we would have a technician out yesterday (the 14th) and today (the 15th), while also we were told that each time we talked to them we would have a technician call us or comcast email us before they arrive and that the email or call would happen around 30 minutes after we got off of the phone with customer service. AFTER 2 HOURS of waiting each time they tell us they will get a hold of us in 30 minutes we have to call them back and continuously have to try to get a technician out while the customer service rep transfers us to different people who tell us the same story of a technician coming out the same day while none of them do. I am livid and very upset as a new customer and I haven't even had them for 2 weeks total. Definitely already thinking of switching services. Highly disapprove of this company and will now file a complaint with the BBB.

01/31/15 day, around 5 pm I come home and the technician 7797 in order to install the new modem for fast internet service, previously requested. After trying for almost two hours to perform the installation, the Tech called his supervisor because the problem was not resolved. I personally talk to the supervisor and gave me two options: send me a tech the next day (Sunday) between 8-10 am or the same tech on Monday. Because my work depends on the internet chooses the first option. The next day no one appeared to work out the problem; call tech on several occasions and told me I'd call her supervisor; the supervisor never responded to their commitment. call on more than three occasions comcast and had no other choice but to wait three days for the next appointment; comcast also make sure I would not have to pay for the visit of tech as it is not my fault. Finally I could get an appointment for Monday 5-7 pm. In short I spent more than 48 hours without internet. Now I talk to comcast and tells me that I must pay 186.85 and 157.21 next month. I disagree and talk to Supervisor llig1213 Ignacio tells me that I deducted technical and visit! Guess that gives me the same figure as the previous! Nothing discount. I am very disappointed with the service who has been my favorite company for years and I feel I have been cheated and abused. I wish to respond in writing. Than you

I am in hollywood florida l I live one block from comcast office. I am homebound and on a waiting list for a transplant l my phone cable and internet went down 8 AM YESTERDAY. I have had to make 50 calls most go to India I was promised service yesterday no show than this am no show now maybe tomorrow. COMCAST is a hideous disgrace. There us no excuse three day wait. The are no weather disasters here. Just miserabke *** customer service workers and spaced out techs that cant maje a service call.

my parents are elderly and for 20 years they been having problems with Comcast. with several call & complaints that we have toward Comcast its very difficult to get a rep on the phone. nine out of ten times the rep will pick up and transfer to a different dept and disconnect me. back to calling comcast again. 1- problems with the phone. randomly the phone will stop working and Comcast dosent take this seriously. 2- cable problems, cable has no service 3- internet problems. now comcast broke the computer and is denying it. I'm writing letter to the ceo brian roberts m brian_roberts@comcast.com maybe it will take some fire under there *** to see I'm serious. my parents are elderly and need phone service. there was an incident in the past where the ambulance couldn't find the house cause the phone was out.. and it was working a few minutes before we called the ambulance and then it wasn't. we weren't aware it was not working until the neighbor saw the ambulance and showed them the house. my mom suffers from dementia and is in need of medical assistance asap! we let this one go but now attorny will be retained is this keeps up!!!!! there is a long list of complaints i have along with existing problems. i had contacted comcast a few days ago. it took me 7 phone calls and 1 hour and 20 min to get a rep on the phone. i firmly asked to speak to a manager. it wasn't easy to be awarded the pleasure to talk with him. finally after the rep explained to me she needs to send an email and wait for the reply. so we did. after all the back and forth alex the manager in the Missouri office. reassured me he would contact me on fir day jan, 23, 2015. it is 7:32 friday evening and i haven't heard a word from him... comcast you stink!!!! about 4 years ago Comcast had blown out my parents tv and denied the problem and said that the tv wasn't working when they arrived at my parents house. ok then why did you have to shut the tv off to do you work on replacing the cable box... my dad sued Comcast and he got a new tv. so Comcast if your reading this i suggest you give me a call to resolve this matter Domenica Mousa 917-355-2234
