The only thing predictable about comcast is their abysmal service. Time after time, at 3 locations, the left hand didn't know what the right hand is doing. No show, no call, service date/time changes without ever contacting me, the customer. I could write volumes but will spare the reader the eyestrain. This company is a monopoly and simply doesn't give a *** about it's bill payers. We needed a piece of equipment shipped overnight and they sent the manual, but no document. Our business continues to be held captive by no connection or sporadic service. Repairs need repairs because they're not fixed right the first time. The complaints go on and on, and no follow up, no gratis to compensate their incompetence.

I returned a modem to them after just one month of use and they continued to bill me 30 dollars a month on my credit card. Long story short after fighting with them for 3 months they agreed to refund the money. This started in July. I called in August they said 4-6 weeks then called in Sept 4-6 weeks and then October the same thing. What I want anyone has been taken advantage of by this horrible company to do is put a complaint against them with the FCC. It is very easy. I did it 8 days ago and received my check from them today. Just go online to FCC complaints and fill out the form. You will be so happy

Comcast in Melbourne, Florida - No refund after service cancellation

Cancelled service in April 2016 due to moving out of state. 1.) They asked me to return equipment which I never had, bills supported that. 2.) Called customer support on May 3, 2016; they promised to fix that and stated that it takes 60 days before I can get my refund. 3.) got numerous calls from the equipment return services Comcast uses demanding that I return the equipment. 4.) Called again June 2, 2016; again the promise to fix it. 5.) Called again July 12; service rep stated that there is no,indication that I returned the equipment, but she will take care of it.(got a ticket#) 6.) Called again August 18, 2016, samre story; got another ticket# 7.) Called again on August 30, 2016, as I still do not have my check; another ticket# Escalated numerous times to "supervisor"s who were absolutely incompetent and rude. If Comcast thinks I am giving up; they just don't know me and my patience. Sent reports to BBB and FCC and Congressional reps; NOTHING. That is just sickening because if you do owe them money, oh boy they are very fast and outright hostile.

Comcast - Sarasota, Florida Xfinity Store

Positively the most unacceptable customer service of any company. My phone calls for help are constantly bounced to the Philippines....I cannot understand the reps, they are way overly apologetic for everything, losing sight of the problem I called about. I ask to be transferred to the mainland, and I'm told tech experts are not available. After a long painful two hours of troubleshooting and attempting to communicate so we both understand, I'm told I need a new modem. They will mail it. 2 days with out service, and in the mail, comes the instruction book for the modem..no modem. I unplug the mess of wiring and pray that I will know how to connect the new modem that I decide to pick up at the Fruitville, Sarasota location. After driving 12 miles to get there, the office is now located at University, the very northern most boundary of Comcast service territory, with the only other one in the county being located to the south, 30 miles....who was the Comcastic genius who thought this through? The office is in a small plaza, with Millennials staffing it. I'm barely greeted by the greeter, Angel, who asks my first name. The young man is looking at the huge TV screen, not even at me, handing me a piece of paper with my name on it. I am the only customer waiting who is not with someone at the counter. He could at least make eye contact. I ask, "what is this for?"...He says I will be called shortly. I am called by a young lady, who also does not make eye contact and expects me to follow her. I tell her I am frustrated. She ignores my statement, and takes my modem, scans it and gives me a new one...that's it??? I am a savvy senior citizen, who looks younger, but has not grown up with technology. It doesn't come easy, however, I understand and know quite a bit. I begin to ask questions about connecting the modem. She is indifferent, with an attitude, quips out short answers, and at the printer tells me, adamantly, all printers are wireless....I know mine is not...it's old, like me, but still works. She is frustrated with me, tells me to call the number, go to the site, on my receipt for instructions. I tell her I don't think I can hook this up. She says, "Fine, I'll schedule an appointment for $50." Angel tells me on the way out to have a nice day...I tell him he's the worst receptionist I've ever met. I'm really a patient person, I'm not unkind, and I am ashamed that I reacted this way....I have been in customer service for decades, and would never think of treating someone like I was treated. I am also a former Comcast employee, and grateful to have resigned while still having my health and sanity. Comcast is a terrible company to work for, and if there was another provider of services, I would leave in a heartbeat.

Requested a simple transfer due to moving. They canceled my service, but when I called customer service they said don't worry we will fix everything. I talked to at least 10 different people and they say the same line. This must be taught in their training class. This are the most idiotic people I have to do business with. I am reporting them to the BBB.... THEY SUCK, THEY SUCK, THEY SUCK, THEY SUCK, THEY SUCK, THEY SUCK.... Now they want to charge me 400.00 to reconnect my services, when I only request a transfer of services. Lying pieces of garbage.

Comcast in Orlando, Florida - Billing/service issue

April 14, 2016 To Whom It May Concern/Tom K/Anyone Who May Actually Care At COMCAST! So, here is the background on the reason for the letter. We pay for our bill electronically through our bank. When we received our bill in March, we saw there was a late fee as well as a returned check fee. I called customer service and they indicated the bill was not paid and thus the late fee and the returned check fee was because the check was returned by the bank. I was told to contact my bank. This I did and they told me there was no issue and there was adequate funds in the bank account to cover the charges. I called back to Comcast and spoke to a few agents after having to go through the most annoying phone tree and cues and then having to wait on hold (most of the time when I called, my wait time was in excess of ten minutes- I don’t know about you, but my time is very valuable)!. As I recall, my call was dropped and I was fed up. I asked my wife to call and she also had issues. We then used the on line chat. We contacted Comcast on 3/19 and spoke to Ronalds Jr and then on 3/24 and spoke to Iryne. Both told us the $9.50 and the $30 returned check fee would be credited as a 1 time courtesy. Neither of them followed through. I then called back and spoke to Tia Lynn Gary (that was her e-mail address) I believe on 3/29/16. She told me nothing had been credited and that if I can send her some proof and correspondence, she can send it to the review department for credit to be applied. I did just that on 3/31/16. As of Monday 4/11, she had not yet heard any resolution to my situation and I now was again past due on my account since I was awaiting the credit for the $30 returned check fee. On 4/13, I called to address this issue and to find out why I had a $10 monthly credit for eco billing removed from my account. Additionally, I needed some technical support for a phone hot spot I was installing from my phone provider and needed some ports opened on my modem. I got a complete run around and was on hold 2x for over 10minutes. (I spoke to Kendra Nelson)I was told that I cannot get any assistance and will be rerouted through the phone tree to the billing department until I pay the past due amount of $25. (which was the balance of the $30 returned check fee still lingering). So, at this point I am completely fed up with your non-service, product and nonsense. I will be finding another provider to service our needs even if it costs me more money. Your company needs to learn how to manage your customers and what is important. Is it worth loosing your customers over $30???? Issue resolved as comcast issued a credit towards the complaint. I am still going to search for an alternative
