If you're getting the runaround from COMCAST you can file a complaint with the FCC. Wish I had known this months ago.

I've spent six months trying to get Comcast to fix a frequent, intermittent problem with internet service. I'm really tired of having to have a technician enter my home every time I call. A tech was out last week and again verified that the problem was at the pole. I called today and confirmed that maintenance did not come out like they were supposed to.

So I asked if their technician could just verify that the signal was still bad and then escalate. Comcast told me that it was an FCC REGULATION that the technician must come inside my home every time.

So I called the FCC, who said they are there to help and to file a complaint. And, by the way, the FCC has no such regulation.
