The only way to reduce the price, which is now sky-high, is to cancel and then restart a subscription. It took me 90 minutes on the phone and I got an appointment scheduled three days later to get a technician to my house.
He didn't show up, and they told me I didn't have an appointment. I was told I would have to take the old equipment and get new from the Xfinity store. It was supposed to be easy to set up, and I could chat with someone if I had trouble. I spent hours chatting and talking on the phone.
After much begging and pleading, I was finally promised a technician would come to my house between 5 and 7 pm. No one showed up. Finally, I got a text saying that my appointment had been cancelled, then the text disappeared.
I am tired of being lied to about their service. I filed a complaint with the FCC.

Preferred solution: Price reduction

False request for a supposed overdue bill
It was a pleasant and productive experience the representative was knowledgeable and helpful for someone not very knowledgeable
Can never talk to a human.
Get actual humans to answer the call. This AI phone answering and push 1 or whatever is an insult to me.
You want my business put a human on the other end of the line. The whole world is becoming un-humanized.

No internet

I called about your essential package and your employees kept sending me from one depart to another and I couldnt understand them. One told me I was approved and quoted me the price of 100 gb of $29 bevsuse I used to have the affordable ACP. Either the government then she sent me somewhere else and he didnt help me and I couldnt understand him so I ally I hung up.

It does not Recognize my address OR My xfinity NOW phone number When I call!!! It wanted to verify me by sending a Number to my phone.
I had to do this two times and each time it said the number was wrong.! This feels like a scam. I have taken screenshot of everything and I am calling the FCC. I wanted to use my high mark healthy flex card to pay.
After QLink Got arrested for scamming the government. This is what I have to deal with now with comcast NOW!

Because of the infrastructure (coax, fiber, microwave,cell and satellite networks) ISP/cableTV/phone service is a natural monopoly. The problem is inadequate legal structure, inadequate regulation and inadequate enforcement.

My latest frustrations:
1) Overpriced and difficult to set up "off-season" service to support security and smart home functions the require very low band width and no TV for 9 months of the year.
2) intermittent dead spots in cellular network. understandable that technical perfection can't always be achieved but don't lie about it. And it took a trip to the Xfinity store to get a simple explanation how to reboot the cell network connection: turn airplane mode off, then on again. how unituitive is that when I experience the dead spot on the ground...in my house!?
3) trip to the store I was given (provided I return the old one within 30 days) a new gateway box.
Activation went fine (Kudos for showing all the wifi devices detected and linked) except the VOIP "landline." To resolve this called for a phone call...
4) The Xfinity phone-bot answering system is awful. Once (finally) I got a human, the "landline" problem, that activation shocrimina;;y inadequate tech uld have handled automatically, was cheerfully, quickly, and competently resolved.
- Some of the support staff will admit to the problems i have outlined

Preferred solution: 1) for Comcast to improve service and stop lying, 2)action from FCC, MassAG, Cambridgema.gov franshise office.
User's recommendation: avoid if possible. then complain to FCC, your town & state governments and Elizabeth Warren

Can't talk to a live person keep running into roadblocks.
When you can't talk to a live person things don't work out the way you want I want to check see what email they have on file for me because I have to change it recently and I keep running into roadblocks I need to talk to a live person I'm not too good with the computer and this stuff I need help I wanted to give the technician who came to my house recently a 10 for his very good service and I can't get through to tell him that

I forgot my password, I wanted to text with customer service rep but never could get a live person on the chat. The bot just kept asking the same questions over and over and over.
I wasn't happy.
I tried to call via pissed consumer and my call just sat, it never rang, never spoke to anyone. I finally gave up.
User's recommendation: Never lose your user name and password. Once you create it keep it somewhere either in your phone or on your person.

I was rerouted to Xfinity, who told me I needed to speak to Comcast. No wonder people are angry with you. It’s a pretty basic request.

something is not right here to lower you plan or server to the lower teir you will still need the box you have ( assuming x1 box) no technician needed they do that on there end with few button clicks
