Comcast - Cannot get help from automated system

They ran. Reset and told me to call back. Each time I call back I am told they to run a reset. I get no help and they hang up on me.

User's recommendation: Be prepared for not getting good customer service.

Could be any number of things either with you or Comcast. If your company has a tech support, have them figure it out.

Comcast - Trying to get live person

Was referred to Just Answer by you night tech when modem went out. This is a paud service. Is this was Comcast legitimately does instead of your own in-house reps?

Details
Due to 3 month hospitalization service disconnected, my fault. Paid bill in total them told I had to go in person and show is to get reconnected. This is during covid19 crisis in Maryland. Only stores open not accessible by public transport. Offered to send photo of IF but told policy is policy, can't change even during crisis. Have spent entire situation w/o internet or tv. Can't wait until DC stores open so I can turn in equipment and switch to Verizon.

They fixed the issue and told me they have never seen a cancelation witth no notes or anything and it never happened again! Comcast has treated me way better than ATT prior to getting Comcast

When I called to see why my service was canceled the automated voice wouldnt connect me to a customer service rep. Im pissed I just got services not even two weeks ago!!!!

I have reported them also to the Attorney General of Consumer Protection. After the complaint they have not charged me anymore for data over usage but it was criminal what they did to me with over usage fees and it could not have been true we had less devices and 2 less people in our home using data from a few months before. Just criminal. But I still had to pay over $200-300 in over usage and could not do a thing about it. How could I prove it except through common sense of deduction of household use myself. Fraudulent fees still continue about every 3 months.

Comcast - It works good for about 8 hours

Purchased an xfinity wifi hotspot week pass for roughly 20 dollars. payment cleared, I had fast internet for a few hours. Then I went to work, got home and when I tried to get on the net, it was trying to get me to pay more money. "I was like wait, I paid for a week pass, why pay more after not even 1 day?". So I call customer support, after about 2 hours of nonsense I finally got ahold of someone who said "that's unusual we will give you a refund." ok cool, things happen no big deal. WELL I'm in a situation were I don't have home internet, so I tried again. After all it's the best deal I'm not paying 10 dollars for 1 day that's ridiculous. Again same thing, rinse and repeat. about 5 tries later and 12 hours of my life spent on hold I say " It's not worth it". I upgrade my phone to a higher data limit so I can tether it. I fall asleep with my tether on and use 5 gig in one night (probably update downloads). I decide I can't win, and go back to xfinity, it looked liked they updated their site, so I was confident I would get my end of the agreement this time. Wrong. Same ***, my patience has run thin at this point, I paid a contract and xfinity did not honor their end of the agreement. Let me put it this way, since I have dealt with xfinity they have not honored their end of the agreement once... not even close. The xfinity hotspot access is a scam. It didn't function correctly from the start and the fat cats said "launch it anyways!" I would support xfinity if they would give me what I paid for, however they have not done that once since they have had my credit card number. Don't waste your time this is like a newborn baby who hasn't developed yet. Give it 10 years and it might be something, but right now it's just *** diapers. Don't waste your money on this pre-*** scam.
