Xfinity in Naples, Florida - Pissed off long time customer

I have tried unsuccessfully for the better part of an hour to talk to someone about my Xfinity Internet. Unfortunately when I am prompted I have to push one for English. However, I never get anybody that speaks English. I’m not talking to anyone unless they can talk to me where I can understand them!

Comcast - Waste of service

Apparently they door knock sales that they don't tell you or ask you about. There is some magical do not knock list that you can bet put on but this company cares less about its customers than anything else. You're one of the herd and any feedback is met with well that is how e do business. Wish there was another option in my area but you have to pick the right evil...and fortunately in this line Comcast is probably the worst evil. Oh by the way the xFI pods are the only thing that works based on their claims so you get screwed by a product that only works with their service that you cannot return when and if you ever leave their service.

Comcast (which has been changing its name to Xfinity to escape the stench of its terrible reputation) has charged me $270 "early termination fee" for having the audacity to move to an area that does not offer Comcast's services. This is how they treat customers that stayed with them 13 years. Avoid them if at all possible!!

I also have the exact same issue with speed! Contacted Corp and essentially was told there was nothing they could do about it.

I explained to the gentleman I spoke with that they were providing false advertisements about the speed. They sale Xpods however, will not provide them at no charge because of the lack of speed they say they provide, that they actually do not.

Comcast - I feel sorry for the Customer Service Reps

Comcast sets themselves up for failure. All I wanted was the internet. I was going to do the self-install, but I only got two wires without the box. With seven o clock only half an hour away, I quickly tried to call the service center near me to pick one up. It took me 8 calls to figure out that they do not have a number for the service center!!! It is a SERVICE center!!!! The automated response system is awful. I only wanted a phone number but I started to get advice from a robot about how to plug in my box that never got to me. Oh, but they didn't forget to send a little notice about how I will be charged 10 dollars more if I don't switch to paper-free. I was finally met by an agent who gave me the exact same number I had just called. After spending an hour on the phone, they still could not switch me to paperfree. The service reps have absolutely no power and are there just to get screamed at. Anyways they were nice enough to waive the shipping and handling cost for the second box. If comcast didn't have reps ask for you information just after the robot did, i would have been so much better off. It took forever to get a simple thing done. I can't even imagine getting anything installed for me.

I do not like calling customer service to get someone I can't understand from a foreign county. Why doesn't Comcast hire within the U.S.

My internet service has been on an off for two weeks. All Comcast does is send out a service tech. The answer is always the same, "it's an outside problem and the Comcast maintenance Dept will be out to fix the problem.". Maintenance never fixes the problem. Now use my Verizon phone as hot spot and it works great!! I understand Verizon is coming up with new technology that will allow a complete by pass for Comcast cable too. I cancelled service due to lack of customer service and being tired of talking to a non English speaking poon jab ,,, therefore i sent equipment back and 2 months later still being charged for equipment. It of my opinion they are illegally trying to take money from me I do not owe.

After several hours on the phone , I finally have decided to hirer an attorney and hopefully sue there hind ends off this planet.,,again in my opinion they are running a corrupt business,, and needs to be criminally and financially held accountable. I will go back to rabbit ears and 4 channel before ever calling these people again,,, the stress they have *** through is unforgiving and they should have to pay billions of dollars to satisfy every customer the have ever jerked around.

Comcast Mischievous Actions

I once had the highest Internet service with Comcast, which was before the multi-billion dollar corp brought in numerous levels, to lower those of return customers, stick them with quotas that were not part of the deal to begin with, and then smear the whole system so it's terrible. This is the worst "server" I've used since starting to work with PCs in 1982 and when I contacted the customer service center I spoke with a kid in a sweat house that rattled out a bunch of words to try and get rid of me as quickly s possible. When emails didn't work on a laptop one day after installation, the excuse was "Comcast is aware of the problem and still trying to fix it. If you get emails on one device you can't get it on another." After this BS I was told someone would call within 24 hours to fix the problem but it never happened. Beware of this corporation and I definitely recommend that if you have no service with them, do not get it. If you do drop it, as I will since it's not service but disservice and a rip off. It's better to be without Comcast than not.
