Comcast - Frozen screen on tv

My tv freezes all the time. I am paying a fee each month to keep things running smoothly. I called today to ask a technician to come out and check the tv and box. The man I talked with in "Customer Service" went over some things with me. He said that if they sent out a tech and it wasn't the cable, there would be a charge. Are you serious? What are we paying the fee for? He was assisting me in diagnosing the problem. I am not a trained tv technician. Comcast does not have decent customer service for problems.

Comcast - Complaint Customer Service on Phone for Residential Problem

2016-2-10 I was moved or called three Comcast phone representatives re cable TV problems. All were well spoken and polite, 2 from Texas, one from NY (all women) in 1 hour 30 minutes of my day nothing re my TV Cable service could be resolved. I find this typical of phone interaction in the category of VERY poor service. They suck, they have replaced the box, cables, splitters inside and out to the pole. It got worse, the last guy said the wire at the pole was damaged and needs to be replaced. That was 38 days ago. Now they added HD function for $9.95 a month on my service back billed me for two month and never gave me a DVR set HD box. This kind of *** has been going on for 5yr. It's the new TV not the service the first guy said.Really

Had the self install kit sent to me and it would not work when i hooked it all up, waited 4 days for tech to come figure out the problem and once he did and got it working he said before he left that the box in my room wouldn't probably work properly and if not to take it back and trade it out, so needless to say it kept freezing up so i took it back and traded it out and even the new box did the same thing called him back out here and there were loose connections that he left loose on his first visit. So now, even the 2nd box is freezing up as well as another box in the 2nd bedroom and upon texting him this morning he says trade them in, NO i went to the office and scheduled an appointment for him to come FIX the problem! I pay 155$ per month 4 service i want it to work properly i dont want to deal with this *** all the time. No wonder Direct TV is #1 in TV sales. Thinking i may go bk to them.

When my service became interrupted I called Comcast and spoke to an agent and let her know what was going on and in return this agent was ignorant disrespectful and didn't know how to talk to customers I'm so pissed off that I pay all this money for this service and I have to listen to some *** talk to me the way that she did she blatantly lied to me about the situation in my bill and told me that I had to pay her over the phone and when I told her that I didn't want to pay the 599 just to speak and pay a bill over the phone she told me that I have to and if I do with through the automated machine I have to pay it anyway no I don't know what's going on but that's totally unacceptable to me I'm a single father of two kids I work hard I try to keep up with all my bills and then the cable bill comes in and it's through the roof the prices that you charge ridiculous and then when you go on demand you have to pay for every TV show anyway you should be ashamed of yourself. This company is nothing but signs of corporate greed taken from middle class America and taking every cent that you possibly could with no disregard for anybody's family

My comcast cable goes out every night. They say its due to updating the system but sometimes it won't come back up again. I have called up time after time and its hard to get past the automated attendant. Then after trying to get past it, it hangs up on me. This happens over and over. Eventually, if I get through, the customer service rep says that all I have to do is press O but that was what I was doing all along and it doesn't work. They say they have outages on the website but they won't answer their phones to talk to me. I pay a lot of money each month for my "bundle" and when it works, its great but it often stops working. Unfortunately, there is no better company to switch to. Direct TV has lots of customer complaints about stealing money from customer accounts and Dish TV has been sued so many times I can't count so I guess Comcast is the best of the worst.

1. Why is Comcast paying stations to rebroadcast their channel when they have 2 channels broadcasting the same show on both channels. 2. Why is Comcast charging us for Spanish stations when they have a Spanish service. We don't speak Spanish and shouldn't have to pay for those channels. 3. How many times can we see same TV shows and movies repeated over and over and over for years! The same repeats day after day just so Comcast can make it look like getting a lot of channels for the money. We are not!

At least 2 or 3 times a week my cable TV channels go out for hours. internet also. What is up?? I believe the wording is "comcast is experiencing an ISSUE. I dont care about thier issues!! why should I pay for such terrible service.Do C C care that, Im having an ISSUE about service. not to mention just RUDE. customer service. I have had cabe tv all over the count, never had problems. It is very scary that Comcast, a technical company, has so many technical problems. Humm, where are all the teckies,and genious working? This is by far the worst company ever. They lied to me as well telling me at first I would pay $110 for the triple play, then I call them back because the *** on the phone didn't hear my request and add the services I asked for, so then the next message I get from them is that I would pay $154 per month, then my first week with service, nothing worked so they credited me $51, sent out a tech and tried to bill me, and never paid the $20- they advertise if the tech doesn't show on time, and the tech lied claimed he showed up and no one answered while everyone was sitting in a compact apart that you can hear a knock with ease waiting on his ***, no show. HE returns the next day and they try to bill me. Every month my bill doubles and they talk this trash about pro rates. The truth is there were sued in court and they are doing everything they can to get another lawsuit going because while they lost they don't have to admit they were wrong as stated in the news online. This company is pathetic. Their cable TV sucks. You get reruns mostly and what isn't a rerun nobody wants to watch. ONly a few shows worth watching. To boot they are trying to charge additional fees to watch movies that has been out for many, many years. Fees for this. Fees for that. It is clear this company is hellbent on robbing people. I am leaving their sorry butts this week going to At & T and Dish. Bye bye thieves

I used to rave about Comcast...even after they almost were kicked out of our big city many yrs ago for horrible service.Now we r back to horrible service. i this one week to fix something -their problem is ridiculous.What do I pay the $4.95 a month for? So it doesn't cost me anything when they come -it does not say WHEN they have to come? I have asked to pay lots extra to have them come in time for first football weekend. I used to get one day service.Now it is scheduled for aWEEK later.I asked one girl on phone today if she was sleeping during my conversation?We got a house full of company for Labor weekend for the football games and little kids and now no TV. I am disgusted.I filed a complaint with FCC today.

I was told by two Comcast representatives that there was no record of an account in my name. As it turned out, Comcast accidentally billed my mother because my phone number was on the account. They reported me to the credit bureaus for an account that didn't exist according to them. The only way to stop them is to cut off their money. Stop subscribing to them. Direct TV is AWESOME by the way and they treat you well. They actually have a great track record for customer service with more channels for less money. Comcast was rated the worst company for customer service.

Hey genius, they don't use your phone number to post on your credit. Lol.

It's either one of 2 things: You setup an account for your mom, or your gonna have to press charges against her for using your information to open up an account fraudulently.

Nowadays it seems like more family members are screwing each other over. Sad days.

Don't trust Comcast Reps

After agreeing to what I thought was a special offer that included a 24 month contract our 3 cable boxes were turned off immediately before I hung up the phone!! When I called back they said in order for the cables boxes to be turned on they would need to adjust our NEW offer to included the 3 boxes of $10 each monthly rental. Of course. that is the way they have always conducted business with customers. We are doing they happy dance in our home now that we are rid of them (5 years of misery) and the new service with a better company begins tomorrow!! Next step will be to get rid of them at my place of business. Glad I am the manager and can make that decision there as well. See ya and good riddance Comcast!

I don't know where to start. i'm waiting for them to arrive ...again. Customer service is nonexistent. They are robots who just say what they think you want to hear and then nothing happens. I have the TV and the equipment, but NO service!!!

They guarantee to be there at a certain time for your appointment. Well, they were working on my cable and when he found the job was going to take longer than expected he told me I had to schedule another appointment because he had to go to his next appointment. I asked him to put it back the way it was so I could at least watch TV and he said he couldn't because he cut the cable and it has to be rewired. Now it's another week before I get an appointment and no TV for a week. Astounding.

Comcast - Loss of cable TV on Saturday night

As my wife and I were watching HGTV during dinner our cable went black and a message came up that said there was no signal detected. I checked all of our other TV's and they were also in the same condition. I called Comcast tech support and was informed that they were having a large volume of callers and would call me back in 16-25 minutes. Over four hours later, about 15 minutes after our cable service had been restored I finally received my callback from Comcast. At that point I simply cancelled the call. I didn't even order the big fight and yet my service was totally screwed up for most of the evening.
