We have been having issues with the cost of Comcast as well. We are ready to switch to Sling TV or something else to avoid this. Good luck.

i have had Comcast for 6 years. My cable went out it took me an hour and a half on the phone to get to a tech. Mic cable was out from October 7th to the 31st three technicians later still having all kinds of issues. You asked for some kind of refund and they want to give you $20 as a courtesy what a joke. When you have TV internet phone and Home Security. You would think you would get a better response but no because they just don't care how sad

Comcast Customer Service? That's a Laugh!

I have periodically reported problems with my Comcast cable service since July 2014. I have had more than a dozen service appointments over this time, but the problems (mainly relating to DVR service and on demand service, but other things too) were never fixed until recently when a technician identified a problem with the signal coming into our house and submitted a work order to have the hardware in the box outside our house fixed. I have been repeatedly told that I would receive a credit for the problems with our cable service, but that I had to wait until the problems were fixed and the final bill provided until the credit could be provided. After a very long and frustrating discussion with Lawrence in the billing department – who ultimately hung up on me – I was offered a total credit of $60 (about 20% of this month's bill) as compensation for two years of spotty service, customer service calls and technician visits. I was told a larger credit could not be provided because Comcast only allows customers to dispute charges for 60 days. Enforcing this policy to limit my credit seems decidedly unfair where Comcast not only failed to fix my service for two years, but also specifically told me I could not request a credit until my problems were resolved. I was also told a larger credit could not be provided because I had only reported this service problem in September 2016. This is simply not true, as I have called Comcast multiple times since July 2014 to report problems with our cable service, DVR service and on demand service and scheduled more than a dozen service appointments. O.. Yea... BIG complaint... Hung up on 2 times.. Secomd waited on phone 48 minutes to get disconnected... Called back numerous times, hung up on everytime.!!!! I have a channel in my package BUT I DON'T GET IT. .. WHY NOT... This was not the beginning of this... Every since we went with Comcast has been BUT problems... How many f*n times does a person have to order your service before you get it... 3 times for us... because YOU constantly cancelled our order. I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY MLB CHANNEL......! I was assured it would be working by now.

Comcast - Constant errors, no reliability

We have had constant errors on both main box and smaller boxes on other TVs. After several service calls where techs just re-enacted what the other did, we still are sitting here watching an error code (the usual S0a00) on our great 55" digital do-everything TV. Several times they have reset something over the phone and it works for a few hours to days, then returns. One tech even told us to have the house re-wired with new cables because old ones causes issues. The only reliable thing about our Comcast is the constant errors that never really go away. I'm ready to try dish tv because paying for a very poor TV experience and these high prices has me feeling pretty gullible.

Comcast - Purchased movies

You talk all the time about how good it is to watch movies. Now see the video on what I see as far as movies goes. What do I have to do in order to watch? As you can see the error code. Not only that the box is getting a little hot like more than two people are using the internet. I see a name " Anything" Direct fire use on cable and satellite systems. I did the research on both. Now with all gone to sleep I do get up and find the internet running fast like an office full of people!!

We are 3 days without service. We have competition in every other sector of the economy except cable tv. Please open up competition. Set us free. We are 3 days without service. When we call, we get platitudes and excuses. We deserve better. We asked to escalate to a supervisor, we were refused. This happens once every quarter. With the amount of competition available, I wonder if our elected leaders are in bed with Comcast. This is unacceptable. We need Oregon leadership that represents us - not leaders that in bed with lobbyists. What are you going to do? You represent us - not business interests.

Whenever I turn on the TV - it seems as though the cable always seems not work. I get the error code "RDK-03032" and I am unable to change the channel until the cable returns. When I call Comcast customer service - they go through all sorts of questions and go to reset the box. Why does the box need to be reset (what seems to be weekly?) The C.S. rep says "well, maybe the daily update didn't take" That doesn't make sense now, does it?

1) This online site name for one. Pissedconsumer.com. Why not say customer complaints which is a lot less offensive. 2) You gave me 300 channels when I regularly watch 5 channels. You are giving the consumers and charging them for what they don't want and that is called communism. I wanted Turner Classic Movie channel and you told me I had to get the entire sports package in order to get it. 3) There are fees on the bill that I don't understand. I called customer service and all the rep did was read the bill with no explanation about the fees. 4) I am a great customer. I always pay my bill on time. I lost my job and was late on my home phone bill by days and you turned off my phone with no notice. Why not look back at a customer's history and cut them some slack for being a great customer? 5) I remember when I saw the streets dug up and cablevision cables put into the ground. I got an ominous feeling - now we will have to pay for TV and watch the channels you give us. The ominous feeling was for more than that. You charge astronomical prices, your customer service is terrible, I recently called Comcast and almost had an anxiety attack because the service was so terrible and it's not the first time, I upgraded to more channels because I was told it was cheaper and the next bill was over $300.00, with this upgrade I got Showtime for free and I was changing channels and came upon a *** movie - with the upgrade I had to get Showtime - I didn't have a choice not to have *** coming into my home. I have said terrible but you are evil . I have gone down to basic paying 16.00 a month until I can order and pay for only the channels I want at a very reasonable cost -RCN has started doing this... On average 200.00/mo for each customer - what do you do with this money. I pray that you will be shut down permanently and your money goes to lawsuits galore. What I have written about is only the half of it.

I agree, we changed to AT&T when we moved, with Comcast for over 37yrs, no discount, deals, had to get a land line didn't want that just to get a better price, it's insane what they charge, a car payment for one....who can afford over $200 to watch the same channels every day. Get rid of them!
