Dealing with Comcast is a NIGHTMARE

I live in Savannah, GA and have been a comcast customer for 4 years. In those 4 years Comcast has taken EVERY opportunity to screw up. From disconnecting my service by mistake and then making us wait 4 days to come back out and reconnect (which we had to *** of work for), 2 faulty cable boxes were delivered to us, missing THREE appointments for which my husband or I took off of work to wait for the technician, never returning phone calls, and in the last week and 1/2 I have been trying to transfer our cable service from our apartment to our new home. I have spent HOURS on the phone b/c 1 cs agent will enter 1 thing and then never call back to follow up as promised, then I call back only to find out that request was never entered and then I get to go through the entire process again, again, and again. I am looking at other options with direct tv or any other service b/c I can't in good concience pay another cent to a company who can't get it together! I dont' know of any other company who provides such a pitiful service. I just want my cable to work, I don't want to sit on the phone for 5 hours to make it happen, and I don't want to take days off of work to wait for technicians only to be stood up during my scheduled appointment time. Comcast-7/31/08-uncut "Girls Gone Wild" at 7:00 pm channel 88!

We turned on the TV at 7:00 pm, Thursday, 7/31/08, channel 88-Comcast, to watch an old movie and there was an uncut episode of "Girls Gone Wild". It was on for over 1/2 hour when we turned it on but I don't know how long it had already been going. OMG!!! I am sooooo glad the kids were not with us!!! I have always been a Direct TV subscriber and do not like cable but thought I would give Comcast a try.....now I'm wondering if this was the right thing to do!!!

Comcast Is Horrible

Please take a look at the websites below and the huge and involved list of customer complaints. And this is the company we are going to let do national security for us? They can't even do basic TV service and we are going to put our lives in their hands? No! They try the "cable box scam" where they try to charge you for a cable box you already returned. They never keep work orders. Then they repeat the same work they did before. No one in the company talks to each other. They refuse to give you work orders for what they did previously. They have swapped out everything in this place several times over. Every other billing cycle, they shut off our HBO or SHO and pretend that there is a service problem. Over the past few years I have probably spent 150 or more hours trying to resolve complaints. That is more than a week out of my life! They have an unsatisfactory rating from the Better Business Bureau. You practically have to murder your own grandmother to get one of those. This company should have its corporate charter revoked.

Comcast is a MONOPOLY! They do not care about us.

Comcast customer service people are rude and they do not know anything. They have no clue, 5 different people and 5 different anwsers. Since the purchase of Adelphia which who we had no problems with, we have had more problems with service, accounting, and customer care then ever. If we had a choice then I would choose it but since we do not face South East for Direct TV, we are screwed. Comcast has been stealing money from us and I can not get a supervisor to call me even though they say one will call. Please help me and come up with a solution.

I have never been able to get Comcast to fix problems with my cable TV and internet. They have missed several service calls and when they do come out they don't fix the problems. Comcast customer service is a joke. You go through a telephone maze and then they ask...

Comcast - Service is the worst ever, no show and no return call

Waited 12 days to get cable TV repair to come out, scheduled from 8-11 AM, and no one came. When I called at 11:30, I was told someone came at 9 but left because I was not home. A total lie since I was sitting in the living room waiting for the doorbell or phone to ring, and nor was there a note left at the door. They had the correct address, but not the correct house description. I was then told a dispatch supervisor would call me in 30 minutes, that was 27 hours ago!! Comcast's horrible.

Comcast - Lied to me Houston Tx.

I changed to comcast when they bought Time Warner. I was told my phone internet, tv cable would be $99.00 per month. I did not have to sign a contract. My first bill was $ 99.00 The next month was 148.00 next month 154.00 I called . The Rep. said he would send a corrected bill he never did. I called again The Rep. said he would take care of it. any way after 4 months . I went back with AT&T. Comcast would rather climb a tree to tell a lie ,than stand on the ground an tell the truth.

Comcast is the Worst

Comcast is the worst cable tv service I've ever experienced. And I have been a consumer of cable services for over 20 years, living in many different cities all over the United States and Canada, so I have plenty of experience with cable tv services. Since February 9 (today is April 27), I have had no less than 10 service appointments with Comcast because our cable tv reception, boxes breaking, and "not authorized" messages which cannot be fixed over the phone. Three of these appointments, a Comcast technician didn't even show up or call. Oh but they sure remember to send us a bill. Almost $250/mo with our Internet and Telephone services included. But I think I could pay them $100,000 per month and still get *** customer service. Their people at their phone center (you get to speak to a different one every time) have no clue what they're doing. About 1/3 of the time, when a technician has showed up, they tell me that the problem could have been fixed over the phone. I hate Comcast, and if I had *any* choice for my television services, I'd switch immediately. Unfortunately, our apartment faces exactly the wrong direction to get satellite, so we're stuck. I strongly urge you never to use Comcast services. They are, by far, the worst in North America.
