Comcast:

I email CC's svp Tom, his assistant email, stating someone will be contacting me within 24hours.

Someone else from CC called on Sunday, saying person who modified my account will call me on Monday.

Ms.Allison from CC called today around 9:25am.

From the way she spoke, she was taking her instructs from the same script as the rep from Friday night.

Hi Ms. Anette, Thank you for responding to my email.

I heard from Tom on Sunday around 11am, he said someone will be contacting me on Monday. I received a call from Ms. Allison today around 9:25am. Ms.

Allison indicates: Your bulk contract states, you should not be getting majority of channels that I was getting for more than 15 years, second: they mailed out a letter 6 weeks ago(I asked her, what latter bc I have not received any letter from CC), which explained what channels, I should be getting . But as a compromise, she said, she is willing to added 2 more channels of ESPN but for the rest of sports channel, I will need to signup to get them. I told her, I have been getting these channel for more than 15years, she said well you should not have been getting them, I asked her so she cannot do any thing about, her solution was to mail me the contract and then I can call her to go over it, I told her, how is that going to help, since your not willing to accept that it was your mistake, she once again, started to go over how CC does audits every 5 years, so I asked, well how come this issue was not picked up before, she respond she does not know, again re-affirmed, she cannot do any thing... But she can mail me the contract, and then for me to call her to go over, which doesn't make any sense, since she will not restore the channel which I had.

I asked, her how to go about signing new contract, she said, she will have a account manager assigned to my property, then he/she will contact me. I am very much disappointed, that after all this time, having comcast as our apartment complex's preferred cable TV provider, I am being told, sorry but we been making a mistake for past 15 year, because you should only be getting limited number of channel...

Channels subscription changed without approval or any notice......Says I need a subscription to watch. I been with CC for more then 20 years. I was provided with comp cable, becasue I'm property manager, so when ever CC marketing Rep. wanted to do promo's at apartement complex I manage, I alway provided them with full access. Comcast cable tv is our perferred provider for all the units. During this time, I kept my channel lineup the same, once in a while I added internet service and then dropped it. I always paid my bill on time, most of the time ahead of time. So, last night I go to watch Bein network, I got a message on tv, it's not included in my subcriptin plan, so I thought maybe cable box needs to be reset, so I unplugged power and then plugged it back in, tried again, but same problem. Then I went channel by channel to see which channels I'm missing, then I find out all the premium, and sports channel are gone. Then I call, CC, I spoke to Dona, rep ID 96T, she kept indicating that company I work for (company that own apt complex) have stopped pay the part of bill, which was crazy since I have to approve or disapprove every invoice or bills, and becasue I pay for cable and I have all the paid bills copy. Then Mr. Dona, says, some one from my company had called and changed the channel line up, now it's important to point out, only my self and my wife are auth to make any changes to our account. So I ask her, Can I plz speak with your supervisor, she says, why,if it's about my channel lineup, she has answered all the questions, I'm like but you haven't, I want to know who changed my channel line up? She kept says, it's myself or my wife, who called and changed the channel line then I asked her, CAN I PLZ SPEAK WITH YOUR SUPERVISIOR, so then she just transfers me to bulk account rep, becasue Ms. Dona had said, she cannot do any thing since my account was a bulk account, so when bulk account rep reviewed my account, she said, she cannot do anything because it's not a bulk account, so she transferred me back to res accout rep, then Ms.Brittney, ID16675, reviewed my account after I repeated the entire story, said, my account is a bulk account, she will put on hold so she can follow up with bulk account supervisor, after 45mins, she told me that my account is a courtesy & bulk account, bulk accounts supervisor will be able to help but nothing more can done at the moment becasue it was 11pm Friday night, I would need to have the bulk account supervior help me, supervisor will call on on 6/25/16, still she was unable to answer, the question which is why my account was changed WITH OUT MY APPROVL OR ANY NOTIFICATION TO ME. So, I asked the last rep so do you have a case number or ticket number, in casue bulk account supervisor dosen't call, I have to call, I would need something so the rep can review notes on my acccount so he or she know what is going on, so I won't have to go over the entire story again, she said, no, there no ticket or case number she can give, only thing she will do is have bulk account supervisor call me, So I ask her, well why cannot the bulk account supervisor fix the issue now, since you reivewed my account with her, rep said, well we are about to close for the night, so supervisor will call me tomorrow... I seems like very 6months CC changes something, then after spend count less hours on the phone with mult-reps, from mult-dept, still they make you wait. I been with COMCAST for over 15years, aside from adding internet, I have never never changed my channel line up, so I'm very disappointed especially since we at spruce manor apartments (over 200 units), where I am property manager, we prefer our tenants sign up for comcast, for past 20 plus year had Comcast as our perferred cable TV provider. Depending on how my current issue is dealt with, we might have to rethink out partnership... Update: June 25,16 12:08pm, NO CALL from any one at CC bulk account dept.... Comcast is horrible!! I am a single retired woman and my xfinity package just went up to $180.

I called and cancelled it all. Then had 2nd thoughts and called to just get internet only. Was offered a total package for $94.99 with home phone and all taxes and fees included. I accepted!

Now they can't find any documentation and I've talked to many people there in last few days to get them to listen to that conversation that they recorded and agree that it was a verbal contract. Each person takes so much time.

Asking my name., Address, what services i like...bullshit stuff and I've spent hours on the phone with them. Now they say it will take maybe 5 days to review that call and get back to me.

Comcast cuts services to basic cable customers

First I was notified months ago or even a year or more ago that I needed a new digital box to continue to get TV channels. I have basic cable. I got the box and it makes it impossible to prerecord any shows ever again. What a huge drag!! I refuse to pay more for any comcast package just to be able to prerecord shows I was able to record for years. Now they have cut a channel ...channel 9...in Portland, Oregon area and say it is not available to basic cable customers. Yet my rates recently went up. I have had this channel for years. Way tp go GREEDY comcast. The customer comes last!!! Looking for other companies to get service from.

Apparently this site works. I got a call from the Executive Customer Relations Team, who gave me credit for their errors, and gave me only the internet, which is what I wanted in the first place. Good for now.

Why do I have to surf through hundreds of channels to find the ones in my package? Why do I have to continually view Comcast offers for events and packages? I just want to watch TV!! Customer service sucks after long hold times and multiple options to get to a human. It is all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and zero customer service. I feel bad for their employees. Man talk about having to get bs all day long while execs rake in millions. Who is going to fix this monopoly? One hundred words? This is a true Comcast nightmare story.. Customer service that is the worst, and then, after 2 months, a bright spot out of all the idiots that work there. 6 weeks ago I received a letter stating I was being upgraded to the new dosc3 whatever and I would get a new voice modem. I thought great! Sent in my request.. this is where the *** with comcast has come very close to junking them and going with uverse. I received my modem.. it's a voice modem with WIFI and a router.. Upon learning that I cannot turn off the wifi, it has to be bridged by comcast, as comcast will not let you get into the router part.. Also learned that every time the modem needed to be reset, it would have to be bridged again. I would just use my own router. SO I called them, explained the elec. here, goes out and blinks all the time, That I needed a modem with no wifi.. they said sure..... no problem. I think, all is good.. well a week later, along comes ups with my package, I send back the other one.. open it up and.. ITS THE SAME MODEM. I'm getting pissed now.. recall them.. explain EVERYTHING once again, am assured they will send me the correct one this time.. Hung up, called the retention dept, and explained everything again, they double checked and assured me the order is there and it will be the right one.. I feel confident, got 2 different people looking at it.. I wait.. and wait.. Ups lady arrives.. Big box.. thought, well.. we'll see.. Sent the last one back AGAIN. Opened this box.. now what do you think I got? 2 TWO thats 2 of the wrong modems. Who in there right mind orders or uses 2 effin modems? Doesn't comcast look at their orders? Does not the shipping person look.. I was assured this would be a voice modem with NO wifi. Appears they do not care what the order states, they just go so fast and grab grab grab off a shelf, not reading and ship it out.. SO again.. another contact with comcast.. By now I am HOT.. this has been a month now. Ongoing comcast ***. called comcast explained ONCE AGAIN.. all this.. Am assured again that I will receive a voice modem with no wifi no router.. just a simple *** voice modem. What is so hard to understand about this request?? I wait once again for a week.. ups lady comes again even she is laffing and bad talking comcast. Telling me to get Uverse, it's cheaper, and you get a 200$ gift card. Any way.. I get the box.. small box this time, I really think this is it! Wait, the box is awful light. I send the 2 wrong ones back at the same time. I open the box.. Know why it was so light? It's a *** empty box!!! What the *** is this ***??? Furious now.. I call comcast yet again.. this makes 6 or 7 delivery's of nothing but ***. This is not a company, this is a circus. and a over priced one. I did online chat this time. explained yet again my problem, and let me tell you it's getting harder to do as the story is getting LONG. This person assures me they will get it straightened out.. I said I doubt it, heard that 6 times before. and anyway.. they said it would be shipped. The right one.. hahaha They know nothing about doing something right. ANYWAY, This was Thursday 8/14 The next day I got an email showing where my bill was changed, which just proves whoever I chatted with did SOMETHING, but, I have NOT received an email that says "My equipment has shipped" Thought I would this morning 8/18 Nothing. SO.. now I don't think they even put the order in. I will probably once again call them. But it will be my second to last call. I've had enough of a dysfunctional company. If this is not fixed. all I want is what THEY offered ME free.. an upgrade. I didn't ask for it, nor did I ask for this ***. One voice modem, with no router or wifi.. what is so hard with this? I already have a call into uvers and they are coming today to check me for installation. Not going to commit yet, but having my options open. Going to get the actual prices, what I get for it eq etc. Comcast will have one last chance and frankly thats more then they deserve. What am I asking here? Well a *** voice modem with NO ROUTER or wifi. I mean I didn't ask for the upgrade, I got a letter in the mail saying I was being upgraded. Maybe even a check to see if this was even ordered and being shipped? What else am I asking for? Get this note to the CEO of comcast, ANYONE higher up to show them the incompetence of their employees. I have names of them, dates and ticket numbers to pass along as well. Everyone I talked to should not have a job there. I get an email and call from a woman soumds_esl@cable.comcast.com From get this.. CORPORATE/ I tell her my whole story, she assures me that SHE will send me the right modem. I doubted her and said so.. her exact words were: "I'm from corporate and I will send you the right one" Well guess what??? I got one and it was.. WHAT? THE WRONG ONE AGAIN. This time no shipping label to send back. I called her and emailed her back for a week.. progressively getting more pissed. She has never returned one email or call. A Comcast Corporate ***.. and THIS is what you want if comcast is to get even bigger? Now to tell you about a fantastic guy who works for comcast.. Now.. I went on facebook and found a comcast page, and just posted the words "Comcast sucks." A couple days latere I got a message from a guy who is in Philadelphia, and named Peter. I do not know if he is corporate but his email address is also cable.comcast.com. Well THIS guy needs a raise.. after a week of talking with him he found one of the modems I was looking for. Had it sent here, and is now sending return mail stickers and box as well.. Also, will credit my account for the battery I will have to buy for the thing. When comcast sold me on the telephone part, they guaranteed a battery.. I had explained my elec goes out in the country here all the time.. well the new modems do not come with a battery now. If I knew that was what was to come, I would not have got phone service with them at that time.. switch and bait eh? Also this Pete is crediting my account 100$ for the aggrevation I have went through.. Hows that for support.. This guy needs a raise! Are you LISTENING comcast. This is the sorry sack of *** comcast is now..It will get worse trust me. It will get so bad people will start fighting back. and I for one will join them. Comcast is to big for its britches now. Don't let it get MORE out of control. Their tech help knows nothing.. I've had pixelation on the tv when I use the computer. This has been on going for a month as well. Had a guy here, cut the ends off my cables put new ones on.. called it fixed.. it is NOT fixed yet. But the good part.. he sat in my kitchen waiting on something he had hooked up and talked on his cell phone for 30 min something about his kid and basketball. When he got the reading whatever he wanted, he said see ya, went out in my drive and sat in his truck.. no *** now, for over an hour with the door open so I can hear him.. about his kid and basketball to the same person. Is this more of why comcast charges so much for *** service?? cant wait to go dove hunting and start shooting birds sitting on comcasts cable wire. Un effin happy customer BUT this Pete in Philadelphia needs a RAISE comcast... ONE person went above and beyond to help me.. where 8-10 others could not, and/or would not do. Including this *** Comcast strives to provide outstanding customer service and I appreciate your bringing this matter to my attention. Please contact me at 256-922-6569. Melody S. Well, Nikki, I think that he would like them to do their jobs right the 1st time ... or maybe even the 2nd time instead of the 10th time, over a month later.

I think that he'd like it if they provided competent customer service. You're living proof that you can't fix ***.

If you don't work for Comcast, then you should apply. They'd hire you in a heartbeat and probably put you in a Management position.

I called comcast and placed an order, the technician showed up to do the install, he did not have enough equipment and informed me that he did not have a signal coming into the house. He ordered a new cable to be ran. The work was done a few days later and after waiting 3 weeks, i called them back for them to complete the install. I was informed by a sales person that there was no record in the system associated with my address or phone number. He proceeded to take the new order and informed me that the price i was quoted was wrong and that the new price would be $30 a month higher, additionally there would be a $39 charge for the installation. We got disconnected and by the time i called back the comcast offices were closed. The next day i called back and was quoted a the same package for $5 more dollars a month and an install worth $60. Again we got disconnected and now the monthly price was $125 and the install price $200. Comcast is the most dishonest company i have the misfortune of dealing with. They used the bait and switch tactics and kept changing prices and install cost. I highly recommend you re-evaluate if you are considering comcast services.
