Comcast

Anyhow after moving our business out of a building and into our home till we find another building to relocate our business to Comcast was suppose to move our Triple Play(minus the tv) cause we our doing our business out of our home. 1st off we have AT & T which hardly no problems.Comcat wants us to call AT & T and get all the information so they can transfer us. Our toll free line that we have with AT & T is piggybacked. Comcast than tells us last week we have to get caught up on the bill so they can do this for us so we paid the bill. Now Comcast calls us a hour ago and tells us our service was shut off this morning because the we owe them money for the new bill.

Comcast poor customer service

I have had Com cast since March 09. In June of 09 I moved and it has been a problem ever since. When I moved apartments they did not schedule my cable transfer correctly so I was without service for several days. Instead of taking responsibility of the mistake they never apologized. It took many phone calls (7) in order to get it resolved. The calling was done on my part. I made the horrible mistake of moving again and Com cast instead of disconnecting my cable at my old address (which by the way had no power!! therefore you could not use a TV, etc) they continued to bill me not only for my old address using my new address to send the bill but billed me for my new address too! I have been working to get this resolved since December 2009. We are not in April and up until 03/26/2010 did they claim to have it resolved only to find out they did not. No one has yet to apologize or explain why or how things happened. I have gone through 7 hours of phone calls...endless "customer service reps"...that term escapes me!!!...and still had to pay what was on my bill! They never refunded my account for the double billing or the late charges that were accessed because of their mistake! I have now resulted in emailing them several times a day. When that will not work I am going to start writing letters to not only Com cast but my congress man and state rep. Companies such as this cannot continue to rip customers off! Just because they are a large company does not mean they can treat customers any way they want to!!! Someone must be held accountable...If you climb the executive tree high enough it always lead to one man/woman. Everyone in business has to have a person at the top. I will eventually find that person if it takes till next year. This problem is not going away.

They made me transfer the service to my house, which doesnt make sense. the contract was on my business, and I have to pay as if it was a business in my house service. I tried to talk to them explainning that THE BUSINESS IS CLOSED, and nobody seems to care, they promise to call me back in 24 hrs. it never happen. Comcast billed me $500.00 for moving.

If you have Comcast you know you pay one month ahead of time. I moved and kept my same package for $100.00 a month. My first bill in my new place was nearly $500.00 with all the transfer fees and additional fees for moving. This is a rip off. I was not behind in my payments. All I did was move. I was told by a Comcast representative, I should have terminated my service and started over. This is not only a waste of my time, but also a waste of their company's time. These are some of the most incompetent people to try and get things done. Prior to this, it took seven months to get their billing errors corrected, but billing me $500.00 for moving according to Comcastis not a billing error. Comcast is right. It is not a billing error. It is a rip-off.

Comcast has nasty cutomer servce

Last Monday I call Comcast to pay my bill, I had forgot about it and had my services shut off. When I reach customer service I was told that I was not listed on the account and would not be transferred to collections. After telling her that yes I was, I have been on the account since we signed up and she must be looking at the wrong screen. I told her my husband drives over the road so I would be the only person who ever calls in. I then began to beg her to transfer me to collections, and she just would not do it. All I wanted to do was pay my bill, that woman raised my blood pressure, had me shaking and so upset. I ended up hanging up calling right back, asked the next person for collections and she put me straight through. I told the lady in collections about what happened and she told me that next time just asked to be transferred and that I ,as my husbands wife ,have a legal right to the account. But it doesn't stop there, my TV was turned back on, but my Internet was not. It took Comcast 4 days to work it out, they had to write out tickets to send to engineering or wherever, but it took me hours and several phone calls and days to finally get my service back on line. It is unbelievable to me how the people in customer care, don't care. It seems that every time I call I have more issues, and am treated like ***. I cannot wait to have a different provider come through this area, because I will drop Comcast for everything, phone,tv, and Internet. I am just so sick of dealing with them and their bad attitudes.

Comcast - They do not log return of equipment

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We canceled our services because when we moved to another location in the same area of the city, they told us none of our promotions would transfer and my bill was going to jump to nearly $200 per month! To cancel their service, I had to return their equipment to a local station, which did not open until 9am, closed by 5pm, and was only open 9-12 on Saturday. The equipment was returned on Monday to an extremely rude and surly customer rep. Not trusting them, I called the 800 number Thursday to be sure my account was cancelled and they claimed no record of my equipment being returned. Further, they told me I would have to find my receipt and call them back. Well, we have been moving, so you know what that is like. I called to get a number to the local office and was hung up on and then told on another call that I cannot contact them via phone and would have to drive out there. We searched and found the receipt, so I called again, and after being put on hold and no one ever picking up, then hanging up and calling back, I am told they cannot accept my receipt via phone and I must drive out to my local office. So, to finally get them to do their job, I spend my entire lunch hour and use my $4 per gallon gas to get the *** services cancelled. I will NEVER use Comcast again, not that they care!

I recently moved into a new townhouse in Miami and Comcast struck a deal with the Association so that cable service was included in the monthly maintenance fee with no choice of provider left up to me. After moving in I had internet service added and was told that...

STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST

Stay away from comcast. They just scored at the bottom of national surveys of cable/satellite companies and with good reason! They cut off my service before it was scheduled. Then they wouldn't transfer my service to my new address because the tenant owed a bill there! wtf, that has to do with me? I'm an exsisiting!!! And one that pays his bills BEFORE the due date! They told me "it's not you, it's the address". What *** Like my "address" is going to write them a check! Then they come to install my service and one jack didn't work. Called them and told them the tech didn't complete the job. They said, sorry, we'll have a tech there in 3 weeks!!!! Can you believe that...they mess up and want to make me wait for 3 weeks! Told them to cancel my service...guess what, tech was there the NEXT DAY! Also, the charge $1.99 for any "changes" to service. So I wanted to upgrade to a higher package. Boom...rep happy to do it. Get a bill for the change fee. Called and told cust rep that I was advised of this fee...basically told me sorry and told bad - couldn't waive it! Talk about horrible service. So I cancelled my Internet...got dsl with at&t (no problems and great service). And switched to Satellite. I refuse to give my hard earned money to a company that doesn't appreciate my business! comcast ***!!!!!!!!!!
