I called Comcast many times during second week of March, and I got switched around from department to department. I live in Hammond, IN and the call was sent to Columbia, the country, Pittsburgh,PA, and I don't remember the last state. Funny right!! My problem is that I have a cable line hanging close to two feet from my ground in my backyard which is a safety issue. She told me that someone would come in an hour or so to fix the problem. No one showed up. Again, I called later in the days and went through the switch around of departments, being put on hold and finally talked to someone from technical support. They again took my information and told me that someone would be at my home. Again, no one showed up. I called on 3rd week of March, a few days later and went through the same issue of being switched around to several departments and finally I was put through to technical support. Well, I got disconnected. I had to call again and went through the same thing, put on hold this time for around 15 minutes. Now I am furious and when I talked to the rep, he again promised me that someone will come to my home but it would not be until Saturday which is three days from now. Today is March 16, 2016. If it is considered a safety issue, how can that be if they are not going to show up the same day within a few hours. I am disappointed, angry and super furious now because I should have had someone here today, not three days from now. Actually I should have had someone here the second week of March but no one showed up. I was planning to switch to Comcast from AT&T Uverse, but all I can say is I am staying with Uverse. I had Comcast for 15 years or more and switched to AT&T Uverse, which now I am grateful I did. Comcast has terrible service. There are so many complaints that it is pretty sad to see. The run-a-round you have to go through in order to talk to the appropriate person is pathetic. One lady never heard of my city and state, which I was stunned; and others told me there was no Comcast service in my area. Pretty odd right. Overall, I hope they come Saturday. Otherwise, I will have to find other measures to have this line raised or removed.
