My cousin has Comcast in New Jersey, and it is horrible. They can wait days before they inform her she has about 20 missed calls. They are a disgrace. I can call her, know she is home, and she never gets the call, or is alerted days later of missed calls or messages. This has been going on for months and months. You would think they would care, but they do not. I think a carrier pigeon could get a message to her faster than your service. How about a turtle, even that would be faster. I can always tell when you have her internet down, when I do not hear from her for days.

***Contact Better Business Bureau for real results*** Comcast should feel embarrassed. I very rarely complain about services I purchase, but Comcast has consistently ruined my cable/internet experience on countless occasions for approximately 5 years. If you run speed tests, you will quickly realize you receive a fraction of the speed you paid for, depending on time and day. Speaking with Customer service is dangerous - they withhold information regarding future price/rate changes, so demand crystal clarity when subscribing. -Comcast customer service will inform you there is no complaint dept if you ask. -Comcast customer service will speak to you nicely, but *** bald into the next life. -Comcast believes in Price/rate changes for everyone! -Hidden fees, Yes Please! Every few months a new charge will appear on your bill that you didn't request. Just routinely call and have these removed (20 min. to speak to Rep so set aside time). -Comcast won't take you seriously until you contact Better Business Bureau. Some day, A great moral force will demolish the Comcast Empire and demand apologies from its elder prophets. Until then, We the people must cope with the deceitful and incompetent blow hard that is Comcast.

I've had service(?) from this company since 7/2015. They have fouled up my billing on more than one occasion, been untruthful, have awful service, don't invest in utilizing USA phone support (anti-American) and now I truly believe they are throttling down my WiFi so I give them even more money on a monthly basis to get a "faster internet connection". Some days WiFi drops out completely. You call them and you are lucky if you can get away from their initial voice recognition system which is horrendous in and of itself. If you are lucky, you hear "service is out in your area...we are working on it". Finally, I've had to leave work on 3 occasions to be present for a technician to come in to fix the system. I AM HOPING THAT THEIR MONOPOLY IS NOT EXTENEDED BY THE FCC WHEN SOME ISP WANTS TO BUY THEM OR VICE VERSA. They are the worst company I've ever had dealings with. I truly believe they are throttling back WiFi to get people to get a faster and obviously more expensive package

Hello i have been with comcast for four yrs an have been being bill for my own modem i as well have been haveing isssuse since september where the cable an internet are going very slow where if i change the channel it takes ten mins for guide to appear an ten mintues for the channel to change an now my cable have not worked since new years eve an now it firday the 6th of january evey time i call comcast i get the runn around an then the send two techs out whom didnt do anything an an the still chanrge me for them an the cable still dosent work nor dose it work in my bed room i had t rearrange my entire room to get the internet to work iny bed room also my bill startin july was only suppose to be with taxes a other fees 160-170 never have seen one bill for that amount NEVER

I've had nothing but bad experiences with comcast. They double charged me the guest month for a "deposit" no one bothered to mention. Then the service SUCKS! Nothing loads correctly and movies cut in and out. Now our Internet mysteriously cut out yesterday, we exchanged modems, and it's still out. But of course they can't get a technician here for 3 days. I will NEVER get xfinity again!

Comcast promised me service, but in the end said they couldn't give me service

I tried to sign up for comcast/xfinity internet service. Made the initial call, got an awesome price and all ways SUPPOSE to be good. The very next day a tech comes to my home and does nothing but tell me that he didn't have the equipment to set it up, that he would have to get a different tech to come out. That was perfectly fine too. Well, I waited and waited and waited and nothing and no one. I called them to find out why no one had came out and that was when I was informed that because I live more than 150ft from the road that it would cost me $1300 to run internet to my home. That's when I explained that comcast had already ran lines at least 125ft up my driveway and all they would need to do was run the line another 175ft to my house, considering there were already 5 power poles up from the driveway to my home. They wouldn't have to set poles. Comcast said ok, that they would send another tech out to see. Guess what? That tech never showed either, so after another week, I called once more. Comcast then told me that a tech did come to my home and measured and said that they would have to run 420ft of lines in order for me to get xfinity internet. The first thing I asked was when did the tech come to my home because I do not work and do not normally leave the house, so if the third tech came how did he get there without my knowledge and the second thing I asked was how did the invisible tech come up with 420ft from the road when my home is exactly 300ft from the road and there was already 125ft worth of lines running up my driveway. The had no answer for me on that one, so they said they would send a fourth tech out to check it again. Another week goes by an no comcast tech, so this time I decided to just make an appearance at the local comcast office because calling had gotten me nowhere. I got up to the window and polietly(at that moment) asked why I was still waiting for comcast to hook up and install the internet I had ordered 3 weeks prior, when she informed me that I would have to pay them $1350 to run the lines 420ft to my home and pay for some kind of internet box to be installed on the line for me to receive the internet signal. That's when my temper flared and I bluntly said "So, in order for me to get your internet service I'm going to have to pay you for your *** infrastructure out of my own pocket and when I move I cant take it with me?" She bluntly told me "Yes ma'am" I said "you have got to be *** crazy. This is nothing but a bunch of *** So before I really showed my ***, I walked out before the police was called. When I got home, I once again called xfinity and basically said what I said to the woman at the comcast office. They in turn told me the same thing the woman said. I asked again how they came up with 420ft of line when number 1, there were already 5 power poles coming up my drive way, 2 there was already 125ft of line installed, 3 why was I going to have to pay for their infrastructure that I could not take with me if I moved and 4 when did the fourth tech come to my home? That's when they told me that they only supplied everything for up to 150ft of infrastructure and I would be responsible for anything after that. I said if you supply 150ft of infrastructure then why couldn't they add that to the already existing 125ft that was already installed and I would pay the additional 25ft to run it to my home because my home and the last pole at my home was exactly 300ft from the road. They started stuttering and said they would speak with their supervisor. So, I was put on hold for about 30 minutes (in which I believe they were hoping I would just hang up) and when they got back on the line they told me that they would have to go by what the last tech said and run everything completely new from the road up and it would cost $1813 plus tax and the first bill. I told them to get screwed (using other choice words) and hung up. I then got online and filed a complaint with the FCC, which got me no where. I can't understand why I can't get comcast/xfinity internet when my uncle that lives next door to me subscribes to it and still has it today and he didn't have to pay anything for any type of infrastructure but yet each time I spoke to someone I had to pay for it, on top of a bill each month, and each time I got a different price on what it was going to cost me. Comcast/xfinity are nothing but a bunch of greedy ***, that tell lies and send ghosts to my home to do so called measuring.

I wàs promised internet blast for 39.00 monthly. This increased to 69.00 a month. Ridiculous price for only internet. Now they sent a letter stating I was mischarged and it SHOULD have been 89.00 a month and subsequently they will charge 89.00 PLUS 13.00 a month in LATE fees until further notice. Comcast and VERIZON are related companies who work together to hold a monopoly in the Richmond area. I have filed a complaint with FCC for unfair and ludicrous business practices. If you want WiFi you have no choice . I am NOT paying 100 a month for internet services.

The Mass Dept of Consumer Affairs for Cable and Telecom (great service from Ms. Murray) contacted Comcast's Executive office in Boston.

A very nice woman named Jodi organized a crew to address my problem.

They ran all new home run cables from the Comcast box in the basement to my unit because they said the problem was due to my condo connection exceeding the distance limits from the box. The technicians were great and hopefully the problem is solved.

Ever since Comcast installed the Xfinity Platform 1 I have had intermittent problems with both my WiFi service and my cable TV service. My WiFi signal is very weak so I am unable to use WiFi in much of my 950 square foot condo, and my cable service often shows little digital squares during transmission that distorts both the picture and the sound. I have made many service calls and worked with Comcast agents both over the phone, for up to 1 1/2 hours, and with techs who came for service calls. With a few exceptions the techs have told me my signal is fine, but several, including a supervisor named Jose O. Cruz, have said the signal was weak and needs to be fixed outside the building. Jose told me to call him next time the problems occurred and I did but he never called me back. Yesterday I had a service call with a supervisor named Joyce. She did some work inside the condo, then went to the basement where she finally identified the cables associated with my service, but she had left her 'crimper' at a previous job. She said she needed the crimper to fix the problem so went back to her previous job, then returned, and said the customer was not at home. Joyce made another appointment for me for today with the dispatcher and I heard both sides of the contact on her speakerphone. I told her twice, and she acknowledged, I only wanted her to return today because she understood the problem. Today a subcontractor from Tri-Wire showed up with no idea what the problem was or what was to be done. I didn't know either so I couldn't tell him. Joyce left no notes from her service call yesterday. The Tri-Wire tech said he tested the signal from outside, not inside, and it was fine. I asked why, If Joyce was finished, did she make another appointment for today and he said she just wanted to leave. And why did Comcast send a subcontractor (Tri-Wire) when I had my service record noted not to send Tri-Wire. I have had problems with them in the past, either not showing up or not fixing the problem. This morning I got a 'YOU'RE ALL SET!' email from Comcast, no mention of today's appointment or an incomplete service call. I called Comcast this morning and asked to speak to a supervisor. An agent filled out a ticket (038087636) and said Kim, a supervisor, would call me back within 2 hours. And, no surprise, I didn't get a call.
