Comcast in Lansing, Michigan - Bad ,bad customer service, and they lied...

for the past 11 years I have lived at the house I live at now..ive had about 12 Comcast service tech guys here..my internet has kicked on and off,all day long,,Netflix half of the time could not even watch a movie..tring to do my work on my laptop..was frustraighting...half into my work and internet would say noo connection ...and everytime they would come out they would bring me a new internet box..didn't work..in the mean time..all this was going on.we didn't have another internet provider in out area..and Comcast new this...they raised my internet to 95.00 a month...just for internet..nothing else.. I cancelled my tv and phone service with them..cuz it was horrible as well...so finally midwest internet comes alone ...tells me the reason for my no internet connection is cuz..theres about 500 people that are sharing the same line..i was like what!!! that's why I was getting kicked off..and I ask comcast about this many times..they lied to me and said no...no one is sharing a internet line..and as talking with the people that live around me..there having the same problems...sooo we are all switching to Midwest..i heard they where great..and they have been here 3 times..getting my internet ready...I will have my own fiber line..and share with no one...oh and I pay 49..00 a month...well comcast looks like you have competition.. and I will never have your *** service again,,,

Comcast - COMCRASH SUCKS!! 100mb/sec package, YEAH RIGHT!!
Supposed to be getting an "Upgraded" package @ 100mb/download, and I can barely get 25-39mb on a good day!!Cannot believe I have been a customer for more than 2 years! I use a smart tv, and it has trouble streaming 480p content! They send multiple (different) techs...

Here we go again w an issue: Internet not connecting to TV Been on phone over 30 minutes On Demand has not worked in 2 months I pay $200 a month to XFinity

Comcast - Intermittent Service

Our electrical contracting business has had intermittent phone/internet service since 9/23/17. We are trying to provide service to our customers without power and also help with restoration in the Keys but our customers can't reach us by phone due to interrupted service. Everyday we call Comcast only to be given the standard scripted apology and that the service will be restored no later than 4PM. We had a service call schedule for today @ 11AM and at 11:39 when we called to get an ETA we were told it was rescheduled due to an outage in the area!!! WTH?!? Then spent 45 minutes on hold to get a supervisor on the phone only to be told that they were working on the issue and they "hoped" to have it resolved by 4PM. Do consumers have any recourse to a service contract that not only is NOT providing service but cost thousands of dollars a day to businesses in the area? We need to do something about the monopolies these companies have.

Comcast - Hazel in the phillipines

9/21/17 - southern florida - post irma - intermittent cable and internet service still today - no service for more than a week during hurricane. I understand, however confused why this company would not reach out to customers in a state of disaster and offer solutions. Instead i am on the phone for an hour arguing with Hazel in the phillipines for resolution. Wells fargo, chase etc have all offered delayed payments. Not xfinity even though their service was the first to fail. When I ask when my contract is up, i am again put on indefinite hold, this time disconnected. Florida is in a state of disaster, as many other territories are, but comcast wants their bills paid on due date regardless of lack of service. This is so unethical. I am disgusted with xfinity. Joy in Boca RN for 27 years Can't wait to terminate your lack of service.

Single mom of 3 kids, i work full time and im a Full time college student. NO internet, so can't turn in my assignments, cant go to the library. That cost money for a babysitter. Called comcast and what do they say. They Can't come out untill tomorrow and someone over 18 must be home. So i have to take the day off and miss out on pay, and i have homework due at midnight tonight. So pissed off. Said they will credit me. Ha ha never have in the past.

Just to put it in perspective, we've had Comcast about 10 years and are very satisfied. It rarely goes down and even then we just call them, they tell us when it will working and it is.

Even then it's only been for short times a couple times a year.

Our Internet connections runs around 85 to 100 Mbps consistently.

It's expensive, we get channels we don't care about like all the services, but we love X1 and will stick with it.

And No, I do not have anything to do with them besides being a satisfied customer.

Comcast - Horrible!!!

First off let me just say i should have stayed with AT&T. I was trying to give Comcast another chance but of course they proved me right again! So after having my internet for about 4 days now the signal goes out and I'm no longer online. So I call and they only trouble shooting that was done was me unplugging the modem and then claiming to resend the signal. Needless to say that all lights but the online light came back on. Of course their hands are tied now and I have to be without service for the next 24 hours losing money because I work from home. You know one thing Comcast needs to do is hire more techs that can go out to the customer when we need them! Comcast is a Muti Billion company there is absolutely no reason they shouldn't have this type of support for their customer who they claim they are more concerned with keeping then losing! Well that can't be true because if so they would make sure that we are 100% satisfied!!

Comcast in Nantucket, Massachusetts - Slower than promised expensive Internet.

This company told me they had fast internet up to 200 Mbps .turns out they don't ever reach that. They say they only guarantee that if your device is directly connected to their modem through a cable .the truth is we all use wireless device like iPads ,laptop wifi smart tvs etc.well guess what I can't get more than 46 Mbps .usually less than that. I've done speed tests . So basically you're throwing away money by purchasing the highest speed package. They get away with this because there's no competition.in my area they and att are the only providers they both suck. I also suspect they slow my sling down .since it's their completion .

After receiving new modem from comcast, services do not work properely if at all.

Every since I received my"new modem" which xfinity requires, my service has been going in and out, mostly out. Every time I call, I'm constantly transferred to incompetent employees where I have to not only give them my name address and last 4 digits of my social security number, but I have to repeat what problems I having with their service. I have been on the phone with them almost every time I call for up to 2 hours. Yes 2 hours. and the problem is still not fixed. Even though my services have not worked properly for months, they only credited my account for $30. And the situation is still not fixed. So they are charging me for services that they are not providing which is nothing more than stealing. Also the FCC has allowed xfinity to monopolize the whole Memphis area. Xfinity has been allowed to grow so big that there is no competition. The customer service is horrible. I am always transferred to someone who does not speak English well and I cannot understand what they are saying.`

Comcast deleted 11k of my emails. Assured me they were still on the server and would be no problem to restore them. After countless hours on the phone they didn't know why but they were deleted by Comcast and they are forever gone. I am really screwed now and Comcast does not care at all about this. Monopolies do what they do. Need regulation here is my feeling.
