If you love having your internet go out at least once a week this provider is for you. I consistently have issues when the weather is perfectly sunny and clear. But don't call and ask them if there is an issue with service in your area because they will attempt to offer technical assistance at your house rather than checking to see if there's an outage in the area (true story).Meanwhile, I always have my 10 basic cable channels that they charge me for and the additional 10 dollar fee on top if my traditional bill for some mysterious fee. In comparison, this is the worst internet service I've ever had, hands down. And that is compared to ATT, Time Warner, and even other branches of Comcast in other states. Can I please get consistent service!

Comcast - 3 years of unreliable internet and terrible service

My internet drops randomly for minutes or days at a time ever since I moved into my townhouse apartment 3 years ago. I've had too many technician visits to count, at least six routers and other "fixes" in this time and none of them actually fixed the issue. I was convinced to upgrade my service to include cable TV because that would somehow fix my internet service. It didnt. And I don't watch cable TV Today, when my signal dropped again, i called in again and a customer service rep blamed ME for not being proactive enough and getting the matter fixed or in getting a credit for bills I paid. She took down my complaint and gave me reference number cr702132995. I asked what happens next with it, she said no one follows up on them. I have never been offered or provided any credits for down time. Service drops at least once a day. I reported to the FCC, was assigned a Comcast person who said she'd call me back, and hasnt. She gave me a phone number that has no voice mail. Patricia at 212 731 6334. I work from home, need the internet.

I talk to people all day long that talk about all the money they are losing because they work from home or have a home business but they have a residential accout. Get a business account

My internet does not work properly. Been through two chats and phone calls. I AM WILLING TO PAY GOR A SERVICE CALL!!! They are no help. I'm probably going to cancel and pay the penalty...they don't care. They win ...I lose...for now.

Customer service is awful! Internet, TV and Phone service keep going out. There is an outage in the area but no one knows anything about it. What can't they have the technicians put up to date info on the the website? Customer service is in the Philippines and they have NO idea what is going on nor do they speak English very well. I am switching as soon as I get me service back...good bye! WHY DO I NEED TO HAVE 100 words? This is crazy. Iwill keep writing until it hits one hundred words words words words words words words words words...

Comcast - Words can not describe the seething hatred I have for this company

They are the best at what they do, taking your money in return for rancid service!!!!! I give them the award for most god awful company to exist on the face of the planet. Comcast is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. They suck. Their service is mediocre and their prices are ridiculously high. Not to mention the good for nothing service center. All they do is talk in circles and give you bull *** excuses as to why your bill is going up every month. For as much as they charge I should be able to expect decent internet connectivity. I wish they this company would just fall off the face of this earth and cease to exist. They are a waste of time and money and should't be allowed to operate AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are so many things I can say about them but the most important thing I can say is to NEVER EVER EVER get their service. You WILL regret every moment that you are a customer of theirs. You're better off living under a rock.

Comcast - By Far, The Worse Company I've Ever Seen

After a month of area outages and all the ridiculousness that Comcrap can dish out, I've decided to move them into position #1 for Worse Company Ever. This isn't my first experience with them but it has been several years since I fired them from another property. We moved into our current home 8 months ago and have been experiencing area outages more and more frequently, 8-10 or so over the past month. Late last week, the 15+ hour area outage cleared up, but not for us as we were still down. After a few hours of sillyness talking with 5 different people within the organization, we agreed to be down another 18 hours waiting on a service person to come to our home. Turned out the problem was with their equipment at the street, and not that our modem was at its "End of Life" as one of their techs told me the night before, or that our wiring must have just gone bad during the outage as another tech diagnosed. I don't know what else to do except pay this garbage monopoly organization the $200 early termination fee (We signed a 2 year agreement and we barely made it 8 months.) Unfortunately we have no other good options. Our wireless phone provider service isn't great where we live and the DSL service only goes to 10mb. We can easily go back to satellite TV but we dont have a good place to stick the dish due to the way our house sits. That is why we made the mistake of giving Comcrap another chance. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Comcast - Dropped signal

I use the Internet daily. The company I work for is in Minneapolis and I use Skype for Business for meetings. Additionally, my company uses Citrix for remote users to connect to their desktop. Any momentary drop of the Internet signal will crash my connection. This problem has become so frequent that my work is being compromised. I went to AT&T today with the hope for more reliable service. I can test the service for 30 days. My concern is that they can only provide a 6Mb connection speed. I don't quite understand how Xfinity internet speeds of 200 Mb will compare to AT&T speed of 6 Mb. AT&T said that when I run a speedtest and see that I'm getting upwards of 200 Mb, that speed is what is available in my area and other users are bleeding off of this signal. AT&T is a dedicated line. It's sad that in 2017 mega companies like Comcast and AT&T haven't been able to deliver adequate Internet to all their customers.

I take it this company Comcast is doing testing all hours of the day and night!! I have to unplug due to hot stage!! I am happy that I don't have to pay for such service and a matter of fact pay to replace equipment!! I wish it was such a router to see what is hook up to this router?? I said before I do unplug router to cool off,but when plug back in it goes back to what you see in video!! I take it this is how you do business with your customers!! At times when I want to use or download better yet send something all it does is spin like stuck in mud just like a tire to a vehicle spin after a while I get to use my turn!! I wonder if it happen there you would be working on it in no time!!

I signed up for Comcast internet June 2016. On August 26, 2016 I signed up for Comcast Xfinity triple play I was told I needed a phone to use the voice function, (voice works without a phone) I repeatedly Declined the phone service, but I was told I needed to sign up for it But I didn’t have to hook it up, of which I agreed. My first Months bill carried an equipment charge of $10.00 For internet/voice equipment, after calling Xfinity and explaining that I previously had internet and supplied my own modem and router I was given a follow up tag number to show they had indeed submitted A follow up. This scenario has continued every billing cycle since August, I call and I’m given a call tag. It is now February and I am still being charged for equipment, the sales person Also, told me I would receive a $200.00-dollar gift card, and every month when I call I am told it take a while to receive a gift card.? Being so frustrated with Comcast I called to drop to a lower tier of service And was told my triple play package is the cheapest they offer and if I drop The premium or sports channels my bill would go up. I cannot wait to drop Comcast when my contract expires, meanwhile I would like To get my $200.00 gift card and the $10 00 equipment charges refunded to me,

My cousin has Comcast in New Jersey, and it is horrible. They can wait days before they inform her she has about 20 missed calls. They are a disgrace. I can call her, know she is home, and she never gets the call, or is alerted days later of missed calls or messages. This has been going on for months and months. You would think they would care, but they do not. I think a carrier pigeon could get a message to her faster than your service. How about a turtle, even that would be faster. I can always tell when you have her internet down, when I do not hear from her for days.
