Comcast is getting worse with with each aquisition they get worse. THE FCC SHOULD NOT LET COMCAST GET TO BE AN EVEN BIGGER MONOPOLY THAN they are... Stop them. PAID THEM $197.08 AND THEY CHARGED ME THE $197. AGAIN. WENT TO THEIR OFFICE and showed the payment... still being charged. Didn't have service for weeks; getting a credit is painful. No value to me, country, free enterprize and I think FCC and the White House gives COMCAST whatever they want and we, the public get shafted. See the money COMCAST gave "Obama re-election", DNC, Their PAC and Clinton Foundation. Stop this unless Comcast is going to behave in a fair and not restrict competition. David Cohen, Ed Rendell and the cronies of the White House is crazy.

Comcast is one of the worst business I have dealt with. We signed a contract over a two year period. After some time, I have noticed that Comcast has decreased (unauthorized) some TV channels. High speed internet Comcast claims, also disconnected frequently to the point of disrupting me from completing important tasks. Comcast also crept up in monthly billing amount. Some day, Comcast charged extra for modem rental, in which I personally own (I did not borrow the modem from Comcast). I called to correct the issue, but Comcast kept on stating otherwise. They asked when I purchased my own modem, whether I have the receipt or not. When I asked about the contract termination, Comcast claimed that it found the record of me having my own modem. Comcast tried so hard to apparently give me the "best offer" for "customer satisfaction". I wanted to return the TV cable box. I called and the representative stated that I have 10 days grace period after the end of the service day to return the equipment. The representative said that someone will pick up the equipment in a week, and that I would not be charged. I kept the TV cable box for a week until someone picked up. I did not watch TV or use the internet, as I switched to the other company. Then, Comcast billed me extra (over $100.00) for holding the equipment for 7 days. I called and representative named Paul said that I was supposed to turn the equipment in by the end of the last service date. I kept on telling him that multiple Comcast representatives told me otherwise, and that as a company, Comcast had a responsibility to inform its customers correctly. He kept on saying that he's sorry but won't do the right thing whatsoever of not charging me of being wrongly informed. Comcast is one of the worst business out there. It's highly unprofessional and keep seeking the opportunities to charge its customers more.

I set up internet thru comcast when I moved to a new place. It didn't work for almost 2 weeks and when they finally sent someone, they charged me $39.95 for it and refused to remove it from my account. Even though I was told it would be free and even though it was their equipment outside that didn't work! I had to fight with them to get a credit for the couple weeks that it didn't work. Every time Ive been on the phone with them and asked them to note my account, the rep leaves something totally different! Finally, today the customer service rep told me that "I should have to pay for the technician because internet is luxury, not a utility" and that it was my choice to have the service installed. I've had my fill with them once and for all. Switching to AT&T. They aren't much better, but *** I'm finding out anything is better than Comcast these days!

I went into Comcat to inform them after several attempts By phone and trouble shooting that my internet was still not functioning and lastly my network name was no longer available nor was the default name..This has been ongoing for yrs and ive had several techs come out and they seem to to get it working for a few months and then right bk again the problems persisit. I dont think I am asking to much to be bale to at least log on the internet especially when im paying for it every month... So naturally I complain and the woman who helped me was extreamly helpful.. And expressed her concerne and asked that I speak to her manager so that maybe he may better assist and see what we can do.. I expressed my same concerns especially being that I work from home.. He arogantly asked me " what is it you do for a living?" Ebay? im sure you can ainternet from your smartphone...? Are you serious I said ... Im paying for internet service ... Im not asking that it be rapidly fastt but I am demanding that it work since I pay a monthly fee.. At that point I said and I would like a credit for the past few days its been off... Well thats what apparently annoyed him and his response was iI will send someone out as a curtesy to you but if that dont work "LOOK FOR A NEW PROVIDER" ... Are you kidding me ...is this how Low Comcast Managers are trained to act out on customers for demanding working service? It was compleatly unprofessional .. Not to mention rude.

I am in hollywood florida l I live one block from comcast office. I am homebound and on a waiting list for a transplant l my phone cable and internet went down 8 AM YESTERDAY. I have had to make 50 calls most go to India I was promised service yesterday no show than this am no show now maybe tomorrow. COMCAST is a hideous disgrace. There us no excuse three day wait. The are no weather disasters here. Just miserabke *** customer service workers and spaced out techs that cant maje a service call.

The PlayStation Store is updated with new content every Tuesday. On this Tuesday, December 2, 2014, I downloaded a lot of content (about 20-25 gigs, other game updates included) on two PlayStation 4s, in a 4-5 hour span. About half an hour or so later, my Internet went down. No big deal, it'll be back up in less than 30 minutes I thought. An hour later, then 2 hours later, my Internet was still down so I called Comcast. I got an automated message saying there was an outage in my area. OK, I'll just go to bed and it'll be back up tomorrow. It was back up the next day but was intermittent. Pages were loading really slow and would time out a lot. Couldn't even get on the PlayStation Network. Evening rolls along, still intermittent. Night, same thing. Ended up calling them again but this time spoke to a live person (from India) to setup an appointment. It was set for next Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Before hanging up, I had to ask (even though I know they would say no even if they were, and I certainly think they were) if they were throttling my connection. Unsurprisingly, she said no... The next day my Internet is fine. Didn't cancel my appointment yet because I wanted to see if it would stay that way or not. Fast forward to today, Tuesday, December 9, 2014; I called in to cancel my appointment but the automated machine said I have none. Puzzled, as I never called in to cancel until today, wanted to speak to a live person to be sure. I asked if I have an appointment for tomorrow (Wednesday, December 10, 2014) to which she (also from India) said no. She also said I have no appointments at all. I told her I was supposed to have one on said date and just called in to cancel. I asked her how could my appointment not show up when I set one up last week and was given a confirmation number. She then tells me there is currently an outage in my area (yeah, right... everything is fine here) and that it erases all scheduled appointments (lmao! wow...). Conversation ended there. For them to cancel my appointment without notice and having their agents feed me obvious BS tells me they indeed throttled my connection...

I can not list everthing that this company has done to me. It would be a book. My only advice is never use Comcast unless you have no choice. Poor product quality, worst customer service in the "world"(really), nobody in charge, etc.....I have used Comcast for 20 years on and off. No choice, they have a monopoly. I did recently make a huge mistake. I believed they improved and changed their ways. No chance! I ordered and had installed their Triple play. Had it for 2 weeks, then canceled after 15 service calls, and 35 hours on the phone. I have to use Comcast for internet because of where I live, but I will never use them for tv again. I just wish someone could provide internet for me at a reasonable price. If they could I would be gone. SERIOUSLY, DON'T USE COMCAST/XFINITY. IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE SORRY!

Last sat I had an appointment no one showed up.... after talking to 45678899 people that didn't speak english finally found some to get me an appointment n had to wait another 3 days... the guys came out 4 hours before appointment time, hoked it up wrong n were completely rude to my family. Called tech support to see if they could help me hook up my internet over the phone n he said that they did it so wrong that he was unable to help me from over the phone n would send someone out within 24 hours. Today came n my appointment was 12 to 2 and no one called or showed up. When I called the comcast they said they showed up n said I was lying and that no one can come today it would be a few days. Dont do comcast.... such a terrible experience not to mention no respect for their customers.

Comcast - 4 no show appointments

Since early September Comcast has missed 4 appointments to replace the main cable line from the street to my house, because my phone, TV and internet service had deteriorated. And they determined that the line was worn and needed to be replaced. They scheduled 4 different appointments but didn't show, didn't call and still I spend hours on the phone trying to get it taken care of. But the service reps just keep saying the same old thing .." sorry for the inconvenience ...blah blah blah, but the repair will get done on next tuesday". But they never show, don't call, nothing. Classic Comcast service.

Comcast - Worst Company ever

This has got to be the worst company I have ever had to work with. I am paying for Blast speeds, but the only speed test I get anything close to those speeds on is the dedicated server that Comcast has set up for speed tests. I have had issues with my internet and tv for 3 months, and Comcast refuses to fix it or credit my account. I have been on the phone today over 3 hours. If you ask for a supervisor, you are placed on a endless hold. THE WORST COMPANY EVER. Beware...speeds you are paying for are only guaranteed in their "test" server. In the real world, your out of luck!!!
