For your own safety, please don't put your address on this site! This is a site that anyone can see & complain about any company.

You'll have to get a hold of Comcast. If I were you, I'd remove my address from this site ASAP.

Comcast in Cape Coral, Florida - Worst company ever.. Really

We have been trying unsuccessfully for almost 2 weeks now to have internet installed at our new office. We were told early last week that the previous tenants had an outstanding balance and we had to send our lease in to expedite the process. We did that and were told last Wednesday that it had been approved and we would hear from Comcast immediately and we would be able to have the service turned on by the latest last Friday. In fact they told us they were fairly certain that they could turn it on remotely and could have been up and running later that day, or the following day on Thursday. Fast forward to today, a week and a half later.... We have left at least 10 messages for both the sales person Robert, and his manager Nicole over the last week. Neither of them return phone calls, or emails. ( I am more than happy to send screen shots of the phone calls made, and can forward emails that we have sent) I continually call in to Nicole's direct phone and leave her voice mails. I do not have a direct phone number for Robert so I call the main line and someone usually attempts reach him. Nicole has never actually answered the phone. Robert will communicate with the other sales reps either through instant messenger, or when I get someone helpful they will walk over to him and get the same response that we have been getting for 2 weeks. And this response is"we are currently in the process of building your account and we expect that to be completed anytime now". He will never actually pick up my phone call or return them when he says he will. Once again I was told this AM that he was taking inbound calls till noon and he would call me right after he was done. I was told to expect a call from him at 12:05. It is now 2pm and not only has he not called me, he refuses to answer my call. I am in an office that I am paying for that I cannot use as there is no data coming in. I called and scheduled Century Link and they were going to install today. I cancelled them yesterday as I was told Robert would call me first thing today to schedule our installation through Comcast. Needless to say, we are no where closer to having internet service at our office than we were 2 weeks ago when we started this process.

After a 10 year hiatus we decided to try comcast internet one more time and should i say once again I was not disappointed. I got the service i knew i would get! I was told they would be out between five and seven on February 2nd. This was a two week wait for service. At 6:55 after I called their 800 number I received the phone call that they could not make it out until Saturday between 5 and 7.Why should i be the one inconvenienced by thier problems! One more reason to stay away from them!

Ordered Xfinity for new apartment. Had to tell sales rep 4 times that I only wanted internet after trying to sell me cable and phone. Tried to set up online account but ran into trouble, called them up but the rep was unable to help me b/c the system was down and told me my address didn't match what they had and that she would call me back when the system came back up "operate 24 hours a day that's our commitment to out customers". Well I figured out the problem on my own, I couldn't use the same email that I had previously at an older apartment and the 1st sales rep used abbreviations for my address which I could never had know thus the mismatch, and never received a call back. The day the tech was supposed to come, 8-10AM, I get a call at 9:50Am that he wasn't gunna get there till 10:30AM. 10:30 comes he's not there so I call him up, tells me "he just got caught up" and he'll be there a soon as he can. 11:00AM I call cs and they get dispatch to try and contact him but they can't so they contact his manager and about 40 min into the call they tell me he's "stuck in traffic". Not once did he say that to me the two time I spoke with him so I know he was lying and told the cs rep that. She was unable to give me an eta and that all she could do was take $20 off the install. Now they just cost me half a days worth of work and all they can give me is $20 not even close to the cost of the time off, so I told them unless the install is free I'm gunna cancel and go to Fios, 2 min later I was no longer in their system. Then the tech shows up at 12:30pm to do the install, um... get lost I cancelled and I'm glad you wasted the trip. I've never seen a comp where it's so difficult to setup the service yet so quick to let you go

Comcast is the WORST company I have EVER dealt with. I have been trying for 3 weeks now to get service with them, because unfortunately they are the ONLY internet providers in our new neighborhood! Unless we want DSL which is impossible since I need the Internet for my work. I keep getting the run around with this company and no one is properly trained with the correct information. Then their agents you contact who are in other states such as Illinois or Mississippi who tell you they are going to follow up on how service is coming along NEVER DO. Training of staff needs to be updated so that they are all on the same page instead of having techs who come to the house and tell you they cannot install inside because the cable hasn't been buried outside the new home and then contacting an agent on the phone who says yes they can install inside without the cable being buried, or another agent who says "oh, even if that tech had been on time he couldn't have done the work inside because the cable isn't buried yet". All of this may have been avoided to begin with if the second agent I spoke with on the phone on June 24th had not dismissed my call telling her the house was a new construction to begin with and I was told may need to have line buried outside...To top it off when a tech came out to bury the line two weeks later we are told that who installed the fire hydrant crushed the cable pipe so now Comcast needs to contact 811 so they can mark where Comcast can bury the line as to not bust any pipes themselves. They tell us it will take 24-48 hours to do so, which would have been July 7th or July 8th and then he (the tech to bury the line) would be back that weekend, July 9th or 10th. Here we are a week from July 6th and 811 STILL had not been contacted to come out. I know this because I called them on July 10th myself as well as just now. Comcast is the WORST company I have dealt with! So if you have ANY other choice in your area, take it! I know I would.
