Mansions can help fix this if they want to. Apparently, they are reluctant to do so.

You can go to your local town hall and complain to the supervisor or whatever they call the guy in your area.

Each cable company is licensed by the local municipality or whatever and the supervisor or his office can complain to Comcast and demand the open, above-ground cable be buried as required by ordinance---Comcast is ignoring the rules set by the local municipality. Stop calling Comcast and start complaining to the people who actually have some power over Comcast to enforce regulations.

Comcast in Memphis, Tennessee - Damaged mailbox

On December 18, 2018 at approximately 6:30 pm, I spoke with two gentlemen who were installing wire on the utility pole on the property of 7366 Old Brownsville Road. I spoke to them. They stated their names were Joe and Darius. At the time two large Comcast trucks were near my maillbox. I looked at my mailbox and it was fine. I left and returned at 9:30 pm, to find my mailbox had been damaged. It looked as a crane or a heavy object landed on my mailbox. I would like Comcast to pay for the damages to my mailbox. Comcast - No Service = Bad Service

A real horror story. I wanted to save money and decided to drop Fios. I called Xfinity and signed-up, gave my credit card, and scheduled the install (Nice feature! You can do that on the internet!). I received the email saying “We’ve Received Your Order, Thank you!”. At the time of the scheduled appointment, … nothing. Well, … not ‘nothing’. Fios did shut-off the service that day, as requested. I called Xfinity. Comcast (Xfinity) said that I did not have a ticket set-up. The email I received said that I would receive a call within 24 hours of getting the “We’ve-Received-Your-Order,-Thank-you!” email. Actually, I should’ve called and checked on things (I was told). Ok. My bad. So, set-up a ticket. The person helping me gave me a number to reference. As with the first order, I was promised that I would get a call within 24 hours. Guess what? It has been much more than 24 hours and *crickets* from Xfinity. I had Fios turn the internet back on. We started watching shows that I can get on the internet. Joined CBS All Access. Started watching more NetFlix and Amazon Prime. I think I will just let Comcast go quietly into the darkness and not bother them anymore since I am not a valued customer. I hope your experiences are better than my Trick-or-Treat experience with Comcast. Apparently, I missed the shock and horror of being a Comcast customer.

I have been scheduled for two iNstall appointments and NO ONE HAS SHOWN UP OR CALLED! WHEN I REACHED A REP THEY SCHEDULED ME FOR A WEEK LATER! I am totally disgusted with the customer service and install guarantee! I am a new customer and I thinking twice about using Comcast! ANGRY!

We went to Comcast to save money. Opposite effect! First they fried our phone system by installing their equipment wrong and backfeedng the signal. Then they refused to take responsibility and referred me to their subcontractor. Then it took over a week to get our phones numbers ported over so we had no company phones. Funny things was, all we had to say was that we were trying to switch over to Comcast and everyone was understanding (I guess they already knew how bad Comcast was). That should have chased us of their service butt we decided to stick with it since it was so difficult to switch all communications over. Now, their equipment had failed and we are waiting for days for a tech. We are a business that is basically shut down without internet and phones. We were told a tech will be here between 10 and 12 today, however, that turned out to be incorrect. The 2 hour windows are for residential customers, business customer windows are actually 4 hours! So the people relying on the service to be reliable for their literal livelihoods are less important! I am posting this via my cell phone - that is how sick and tired I am of Comcast! If you are considering them for your company's service, do so at your own peril!

i called to get service . and told the person on other end to please just give me 1 price, don't give me price then keep adding stuff . i repeated myself 3 times , and was gave a price . i ask is that tax , title , license . she said no there is your state tax on top of that . so i said ok .now that price was $119.99 $109.00 (service)+10.00 (box ) + tax . i said ok that sounds good . but wait there is also a 50.00 installation fee so once again i said ok now is that the told cost . (answer) yes sir . ok then go ahead . she then said told is sir $169.99 + tax first mo. then $119.00 + tax . ok but did not add 1 more penny . (answer) no sir that is it . not 10 words later of sir there is a $15.00 charge also . on top of the $169.00 . so we are now at $184.00 . *** NO ! watch out this company will try every thing they can to over charge you and lie to you. think about it if i was lied to all them time before service what do you think it would be like after they got your money !
