Comcast - Long Time Valued Customer!

We have been a customer for the last 16 years at our lake cottage. We have always been on the seasonal vacation plan. This year we experienced an emergency in the family and offered the cottage to a family member. Although the plan had been put on vacation, I had it turned on for a couple of months. When I went to put it back on seasonal hold, they refused offsetting the time by almost 6 months (additional cost of almost $700). They told me several times I was a very valued customer, but refused to offer a one time wavier for the seasonal hold. They left me no choice but to cancel the service and return the box. We live in a rural area where UPS or Comcast facilities are at the closest, 50 miles away. Long Time Valued Customer! (Ha)

A rep setup auto pay on my account but attached the wrong cc from someone elses account and that person found out and stopped payment and they suspended my services for that fact the payments went back on my account and now they are demanding I pay the $ 500 in less than two weeks. I feel as though I shouldnt have to pay since I paid my bill on 1/18/20 and my balance was $0 please help me I don't have 500 to pay for services

Be careful of Contract!!! Comcast/Xfinity don't honor them!!!!

I received a response from Drena from Comcast. According to her, Comcast raised my contract by $7 because they increase the modem fee from $13 to $14; sports fee and other fees. This is totally unacceptable. I have a contract for 2 years which I should be protected even if there are increase in fees. If I cancel, Comcast will charge me $230. I am a Residential Customer of Comcast. I do NOT have a business, never mentioned a business on web nor F/B. I rcv'd a letter per USPS from Comcast Business addressed with my current name and address BUT included under name "Recycled Art". I do recycled art for my own hobby but NEVER posted, shared on web/F/B that I SELL Recycled Art, which I do NOT do - I have spent close to 10 days calling, pm'ing and when calling Comcast Business, they do not have me on record. Talked with a Jeff per phone, Northeast Division and No LUCK! Per Oct 2019, I found from Chief Privacy Officer, Comcast Residential, "WE DONT SELL INFORMATION to 3rd Parties". This is UPSETTING to me. Privacy Violations!

Addt'l Info: I have lived at my Resident aforementioned and have used Comcast Residential for 20+ years! I cannot change to another cable service as Town only allows Comcast (they have a contract).

! also live and own a condo prohibiting use of a satellite.

I asked if I moved and did not need service if I would be billed for early termination and was told no.....guess what...I have been thru 3 supervisors and countless hours to be told it would be taken care of....oh they did.....turned me into collections!

Comcast - Worst international call quality 2/10, vonage 9/10

The call quality is beyond awfull if I am lucky enough to get through at all. Typically I have to call 3 to 4 times to get through and then hang up a call back once or twice to get call quality I can barely hear. NEVER HAD THESE ISSUES WITH VONAGE. I absolutely regret dropping Vonage for Comcast.
