Comcast sucks. They are the most crooked bunch of thieves on planet earth. They manipulate billing to rip you off every way they can, from the billing cycle dates to deposits made to phony charges. Anyway they can steal they do. They bill you in advance, and charge you deposits and when you cancel your service? well you can forget about ever seeing a dime back from them, they will manipulate all kinds of *** in your billing and say they don't owe you anything or they will come up with more phony *** and tell you that you owe them money. It's amazing how in this country companies like comcast can get away with what they do to customers, but hey they have all the politicians in their pocket. Guess the old saying is true " money talks and BS walks. I hope comcast ceo's and everyone associated with comcast rots in ***.

Details
Spoke to an agent to set up a payment arrangement on the 15th due to my twice a month pay cycle. The agent processed the payment for the 8th after countless efforts of explaining my payroll cycle. Comcast/Xfinity definitely needs to cease and assist outsourcing billing/payments! It takes entirely too much effort to speak and explain situations to foreigners. Why have surveys if your not listening to customer complaints! There is no one call resolution with Comcast!

This is resolved. AND because I complained directly to the FCC- it works folks- a rep called me a week later after it was connected and took about $233 off the bill.

Attempting to establish GiG service | Comcast

Went on line, saw that Comcast/XFINTY offered service in area and there ends the positive experience with Comcast. Spent 3 hours on line Saturday (4/1/2017) trying to establish service at new location only to be told to go online and fill out application and someone will get back to me with 48 hours. Went online line, filled out form like good sheep, no confirmation email returned, filled out again on Sunday nothing back to say that form was even accepted. Called on Monday 4/3/2017, spend another 1.5 hours on phone trying to find out if someone would help me,, had ticket open promised that someone would call me back within 48 hours. Called back on Wednesday 4/7/2017 another 1.5 hours only to find out ticket number given on Monday was not valid ticket number. Was made promise by agent and supervisor that they were going to look into this and call me back in less than 24 hours, if not please call them directly. The number I was given was for a call center and they can't or wont transfer numbers to other agents. Called back 4/8/2017 asked agent that answered to speak directly with supervisor, before he would "transfer" wanted me to explain problem. Gave short version, he put me on hold came back on line claiming to be someone else - did not even try to disguise voice or accent and got agitated when questioned. Given the benefit of the doubt I explained again that I want a firm date for install he then got angry and yelled at me stating they are having a lot of server issues and someone will call me back in 30 minutes. He did not ask my name or phone number, I had to prompt him to take my name. So now I wait again.......... I have never had such a hard time trying to give someone money for service... this is crazy sad

Horrible customer service | Comcast

Set up appt to start new service. Comcast does didnt show. Called and automated message advised me of my new appt date - one week later. No one called to advise me. I called and spoke to a customer service rep who says d she would escalate. I never heard from them. Today was my new scheduled time - one week later! Again, Comcast does didnt show. Automated line told me next appt date is one week from today. Got a rep who said each appt was canceled a half hour before scheduled time. No one called me. I escalated to a supervisor who was supposed to call me back. Never heard. Really upset with Comcast total disregard for missing both appts with no notice or even effort to reschedule.

Don't call "Customer Care" | Comcast

Don't waste your time calling "customer care" because they don't. They just want to read you a script and document the call. NOTHING gets resolved. Be very concerned if they say "I'm going to accelerate this!". That is just a ploy to get you off the phone. When you call back, even with a case number no one has any idea what you are talking about. I have no prejudice concerning offshore tech support. BUT, they should know the language. The English word courtesy means doing something your are NOT obligated to do. When they offer a one time deal as a "courtesy", that does not meet the contract you are paying for that is not a courtesy, it is an insult.

Very Poor Service By Xfinity | Comcast

I ve been calling Comcast to set up my internet/tv service and has been transferred to different representatives. I've been connected to different parts of the world from the Philippines, Colombia , to other countries. They were very fast in charging me even before I own the house but very slow in their service. I am a new customer and being treated this way how much more if I am an existing customer with issues. I would give this company a zero rating if there is one. It's been almost a month since I ordered the service and up to now it has not been set up. Representatives who I spoke with are all incompetent. I was told I could not speak with a supervisor and nobody can help me.

Keep calling back until you get to the loyalty department or the other one I can't remember.

There is also a different phone no. where their reps are more informed, faster and polite. 866 928 7488

I made an appointment because Comcast sent me a cable box that did not work. The window of arrival was 5:00-7:00pm. I took off work early and arrived home by 4:30. It's now 7:19pm and I've called Comcast 4x to find out what the ETA is. The customer service dept had every excuse in the book (traffic etc) but oddly I was here. If they are booking their techs so tightly that they can't honor their time guarantees then THEY NEED TO HIRE FLOATING techs to take up the slack. I have already lost two hours of my whopping 80 hours of vacation a year and customer service offered me a $20 credit for my frustration; loss of time and oh yeah my tv still doesn't work. Tech FINALLY ARIVED at 7:30pm (after my 3 hour wait) and discovered that the wires in the walls were old as DIRT and outdated; cobbled together with splitters; and generally provided awful awful service---explains why my wifi is dinosaur slow. I can't choose another provider because the condominium I live in signed a bulk service agreement so I have NO choice but Comcast. If I did not have to pay for the service anyway, I would just have them turn it off. Comcast one of worst Companies in America. They suck!!!!!!! Not that they give a flying flip what anyone thinks.
