Comcast - Horrible Customer Service

Comcast has the very worst customer service of any company I have ever called. They are the very worst trained people on the phone. you can call 5 times and get 5 different stories. I never know what to expect from them. I decided to leave them. Have had enough. When you call to speak to anyone the attitude is really bad. I would rather play marbles then watch any services provided by Comcast. They honestly feel they are doing you a favor speaking to them. I have had enough!! Get you act together COMCAST. Remember you not the only game in town. I am sure any company will be better than Comcast. Now they have cell service. I would rather run two tomato paste cans from a string then any service Comcast dishes out. A weak company that needs to go to the basics.

First off i want to say COMCAST just lost a customer, since last night I have been trying to get a hold of someone to discuss an issue with my account, and to date, I am still listening to this *** *** music on this prompter, this is what you people call customer service. Last night while watching TV, I left the music on their prompter playing for 45 minutes, just to see how long it would take for these people to answer. This so sad, I am *** sure not going to be recommending this service to anyone , nor will i be a customer again. All the money y'all make, hire more people, or at least pick up the *** phone. I would rather deal with a satellite dish that goes out when it rains, at least they answer their calls. BYe Bye Xfinity!!!

Comcast - Can't Even Order PPV

Comcast's customer service via telephone is horrible to say the least! We can't even purchase PPV programs without calling and having a representative manually connecting it for us. To make it worse, the person we spoke with tonight had NO CLUE on how to do this, so we had to cancel our order! We are VERY unhappy with Comcast, and we are searching for another cable provider. I've been a loyal customer for many years, but this has to stop! If I could have left zero stars, I would have!

It falls to you to educate yourself when it comes to any service contract. As with any company that provides a contracted services there is always a ETF.

To claim ignorance of said ETF only shows your failure to read. You failed in one of the most basic of skills and seek to blame others to cover your failure. I understand money is tight but if it's as tight as you claim for medical reasons then why would you not read? Did you forget to do so?

Just because you were given a pass in the past doesn't mean that the concept of an early termination fee never existed in those contracts. I'm betting you've gotten really good at the sob story game. You couldn't help yourself and even did it in your original post. I fail to see what your life story has to do with your complaint.

You use it to garner sympathy and pity and in quite a few cases to dodge paying bills. Eventually you will run into people who no matter how much you cry and tell your tale will be able to do anything for you. That your particular sob story is the 50th they have had to listen to that day and they honestly don't care. It's been done to the point of overdone.

Why do you think it's all automated? By chat, email, and robocalls they have taken the human out of bill paying. No sob story to listen to no freebies to give away. This means it's more on you to educate yourself fully before you enter into any form of contract.

Be it a cellphone, Internet service, or cable TV it's your responsibility to know exactly what you are putting your name on. Read the emails fully.

Request a paper contract for your personal records. Protect yourself with knowledge.

Comcast - Lied to Twice!

I paid my final bill three weeks ago and there was a $150 Early Termination Fee, I spoke with the lady and told her that I had comcast at the new place I moved to and I was an authorized user. She looked up the account and said yes, I can see that. I will credit the account. One week later another phone call from their collections agency stating they did not credit the amount. I called today and was passed around and given an incorrect phone number. I finally spoke with a rep and the first thing she said was "I see you have a $150 charge, how would you like to pay that". I went through what I was told and she said, you were in a two year contract that you signed on...day etc. I asked her to transfer me to a supervisor, she said that they would not do anything for me and I needed to speak with someone in another department, she transferred me to sales...they transferred me back. I finally ask for a supervisor and the girl was rude and irritated. She spoke with the supervisor before getting on the phone and he started out "I see you have a $150 charge...". Unbelievable!!! I asked him if he would like know why I asked for him (it didn't matter, he'd made up his mind before I got on the phone" He even put in my file that I owe this amount and not to waive it. This is terrible customer service. I am really upset, but what can I do. They don't care about their customers, and I was lied to by the woman I paid my final bill to...sad. Just beware, and I know many people don't have a lot of choices since Comcast has a monopoly in this area :-(

Comcast sucks. They are the most crooked bunch of thieves on planet earth. They manipulate billing to rip you off every way they can, from the billing cycle dates to deposits made to phony charges. Anyway they can steal they do. They bill you in advance, and charge you deposits and when you cancel your service? well you can forget about ever seeing a dime back from them, they will manipulate all kinds of *** in your billing and say they don't owe you anything or they will come up with more phony *** and tell you that you owe them money. It's amazing how in this country companies like comcast can get away with what they do to customers, but hey they have all the politicians in their pocket. Guess the old saying is true " money talks and BS walks. I hope comcast ceo's and everyone associated with comcast rots in ***.

Spoke to an agent to set up a payment arrangement on the 15th due to my twice a month pay cycle. The agent processed the payment for the 8th after countless efforts of explaining my payroll cycle. Comcast/Xfinity definitely needs to cease and assist outsourcing billing/payments! It takes entirely too much effort to speak and explain situations to foreigners. Why have surveys if your not listening to customer complaints! There is no one call resolution with Comcast!

This is resolved. AND because I complained directly to the FCC- it works folks- a rep called me a week later after it was connected and took about $233 off the bill.

Comcast - Attempting to establish GiG service

Went on line, saw that Comcast/XFINTY offered service in area and there ends the positive experience with Comcast. Spent 3 hours on line Saturday (4/1/2017) trying to establish service at new location only to be told to go online and fill out application and someone will get back to me with 48 hours. Went online line, filled out form like good sheep, no confirmation email returned, filled out again on Sunday nothing back to say that form was even accepted. Called on Monday 4/3/2017, spend another 1.5 hours on phone trying to find out if someone would help me,, had ticket open promised that someone would call me back within 48 hours. Called back on Wednesday 4/7/2017 another 1.5 hours only to find out ticket number given on Monday was not valid ticket number. Was made promise by agent and supervisor that they were going to look into this and call me back in less than 24 hours, if not please call them directly. The number I was given was for a call center and they can't or wont transfer numbers to other agents. Called back 4/8/2017 asked agent that answered to speak directly with supervisor, before he would "transfer" wanted me to explain problem. Gave short version, he put me on hold came back on line claiming to be someone else - did not even try to disguise voice or accent and got agitated when questioned. Given the benefit of the doubt I explained again that I want a firm date for install he then got angry and yelled at me stating they are having a lot of server issues and someone will call me back in 30 minutes. He did not ask my name or phone number, I had to prompt him to take my name. So now I wait again.......... I have never had such a hard time trying to give someone money for service... this is crazy sad
