Nobody makes or sells standard definition TV's anymore and yet Comcast does not include HD service in all their packages. Hello! HD is the standard now. Why are you so cheap and so sleazy as to charge for the standard broadcast? I'll tell you why; for and extra $10....

Comcast - Shady Business

No transparency in pricing, There's always a bundle/promo that does not illustrate the cost of the pieces in the bundle; and the bundle/promo is for a set timeframe, where upon the ending of that timeframe there is a huge leap in the bill necessitating that they always have to be called for some piecemeal resolution. What is so difficult in listing online so that interested consumers can see the prices for the Internet and TV plans without the 12 month promo teaser. For my wireless phone through another competitor, I know every detail concerning my bill for the entire duration as there are no teasers/ruses to entice and deceive curious consumers. They are rotten scoundrels!

Comcast - Power outage during storm

I switched from a "Dish network" system to a cable system; "Comcast", almost 8 years ago, thinking that during a storm, I would lose all Dish satellite transmission. Waoo!, was I wrong! I'm very disappointed with the Comcast/Xfinity's service, I thought that their Cable network was primarily underground, making it, virtually uninterruptable during a storm, now I know that I was misinformed. Unfortunately, at the worst critical time, for my family and grandchildren; needing information about the approaching storm, our Comcast TV and Internet went down. This was hours before losing electrical power. Thank God, we had a radio, and a generator to help us preserve our food supplies once the power went down. Hurricane Irma, just brushed Miami as a tropical depression, and here I am writing this message using my Verizon air card "Jet Pack", having no Comcast Internet or TV for the past 4 days after the brush with this tropical depression. On a positive note, I would like to say that FPL has done a tremendous job to help us regain our power in South Florida. Even now, 4 days later, after regaining electrical power, my Son-in law located in Downtown Brickell area code 33131 and my wife and I located in Kendall in area code 33173 still have no Comcast TV or Internet service.

Comcast - The absolute worst company to deal with!

We have phone, tv and internet with Comcast. Don't really need or want the tv however it cost more per month not to have it. Our entire system went down over a month ago. We were told after hours on the phone troubleshooting that we needed to switch out the router. My husband brought the old one to a Comcast location and was provided a new one. Again after hours of troubling it was then determined it was NOT the router. We were told we need to have a service call. After being informed that it would cost $60 for the tech to come out we told the rep that we would pass on this. She then allegedly went to talk to her supervisor who said there would be no cost for the service call. The tech came out a few days later and did some things in the back of the router and tv and it was working. Not even a hour after he left it all went down again. We called and told them the situation and another tech came to our house days later. It was determined by the tech that it was NOT an internal issue but instead there was problem with the cable in the pedestal outside by the road. He replaced it and we have not had a problem since. We were basically without our service for three weeks total and had to purchase a hot spot to enable us to have internet at least. As I indicated tv did not matter to us since we have DirectV. The end result of this is that they denied twice to remove the $60 charge. AT&T recently installed fiber in our community and my plan is to change our service and NOT deal with these people ever again!

Comcast - Cannot get $60 service charges removed from my bills!

#1 PRIORITY - I want the $60 service charges removed from my bills for 3rd service call to my home that was never done in home, had to send someone out to order truck to correct problem with pole line so they billed me I want to be able to see my bills and get one mailed to the correct address! I want my billing address corrected! I want the service I ordered installed completed! I want my bill to reflect my actual disconnect and installation days! I want my bills to reflect the actual equipment at each location! Since 1992 I have had service in one my current homes provided by same company, many different names which have morphed into the name of COMCAST soon it seems to become XFINITY. Through the years, one thing has been apparent, there is very little concern to provide contact with "customer service" that is anything remotely a pleasant experience for the "paying customer" I have a long list of ideas for improvement but it seems that the only thing COMCAST will eventually understand is the MASS exodus of your customers which, based on ALL of my recent contacts, will happen soon. Some form of this entity has been bankrupted before and companies larger that you have failed! My internet service is critical. I am disabled supplementing my income with occasional jobs from home. I have been without this income for over a month! For the last two months, because of service issues, it has been basically none my internet service existent. Below are some of the over eleven (11) hours, yes hours I have spent on the phone with your "customer service" Total for 800-266-2278 45 calls 556 minutes $0.00 Total for 877-338-7017 3 calls 34 minutes $0.00 Total for 877-842-6622 3 calls 55 minutes $0.00 Since these call I have spent another 3-4 hours with them and service ordered is still not complete. Many of my issues are still unresolved. I have a life and spending this much time with COMPCAST is unacceptable especially since I do not see and end in sight! I have another account for my parents which was to be moved and that service is STILL incomplete! Billing information is incorrect and I was assured this was corrected! I can not see the bill because of this issue also!!!!!! It takes me almost three minutes to get a service person on the line, they apologize, assure me that they are different & still my issues are still unresolved. Comcast solicitor called me. I kept saying i wasnt interested. I was about to hangup when was offered a great deal. I agreed to it. When i received the bill it was close to double what i agreed to. Comcast will not correct the bill. They wont answer my continued requests to speak to a manager

Comcast service failures for more than 4 months

Comcast keeps going into refresher or pops a statement "this is embarrassing". Technician or agents have lied about problems in the area. When I have called for help or resolve I am hung up on. I have had Geek Squad help 14 times since March and always it is a Comcast problem. The Comcast incidents have affected telephone service and TV problem. Comcast Technicians visited and replaced cables and the problem still exists. I was promised a $40 deduction in my May billing and instead the bill was increased $40. Your supervisors are of no assistance. You create new paperwork to cover your tails reporting that the increase is part of the bundle and that I had actually received a $174 .95 credit when the bill was $274.95 ; I may be 82 years old a 3 time veteran but I am not demented. I have the paperwork showing your scams.
