Comcast does not return phone calls

Comcast does not return customer service phone calls. When called back they say "oh yes I see that we were supposed to call you on such and such a day - I'll send an email right away and alert someome to call you". It never happens. They have the worst voice mail system. They actually have a digital voice mail system that does not give you the time and date of the call. You have to press four numbers in order to get the date and time and you have to do this for each voice mail received. When I first tried to bundle my service I was told I couldn't becuase I was an existing customer. I called back and got it done with another agent. But I was charged for installation until I called again and had those charges removed. More trouble than it was worth.

Comcast - Stupidity

I recently replaced a digital converter box with a real cable box because Comcast sends you the converter but it doesn't allow you to view the all of the channels you are paying for (*** #1). Comcast mailed me the new box and the instructions in it were fairly clear, but didn't work because someone didn't set me up to get billed for it (*** #2). I then spent forty minutes on hold because they were more concerned with getting the billing right (Poor Customer Service #1). Today the cable box stopped working because it was no longer authorized. I was told it had not been "provisioned" properly (*** #3). I then asked if I was still being billed for the converter which was no longer attached to anything. I was told I was (*** #4) I asked why not deauthorize it? Silence I then asked if I could mail it back. I was told no that I would have to drive to a Comcast store. There is not a Comcast store where I live so I was told to drive two cities beyond where I live to return it.(*** #5 and God-Awful Customer Service). They mailed a box to me because it was convenient for them but I have to return it in the most inconvient way. If anyone can offer me anything close to Comcast service I would gladly pay double because I want these idiots to go out of business. If they didn't have a monopoly, the American way would drive them to bankruptcy. Comcast sucks!

I'm forced to have Comcast as my cable provider. I pay an obscene amount of money for TV alone. I purchased a laptop computer for X-mas & I requested a bundle package.I never had Internet access before. I was told I could not receive a bundle due to my current service.I would have to downgrade my service to basic cable for 2 months to be eligible to receive a bundle rate. I was offered an intoductory 6 month rate for Internet.I accepted. I made it clear I wanted a wireless connection and purchased a router. The installer came and would not hook up the router, I called Comcast while he was here and they refused to help.

Not happy with the Comcast bundle

We have had the comcast bundle for a few months now and it has never worked right. First we had cable for years and then we had the computer and phone line put on and it has not worked right yet. We also had a tech out this weekend and he just said they are working on the problem in our area. How long does it have to be worked on and we have to pay for it. Our phones go dead at times and the computer does not work right, its always been real slow. Not good !!!!!! The only thing we don't have trouble with is the cable alone.

Comcast bundle package

we have had the comcast bundle package for a few months, the tv we have had on cable for years. After we got the computer and phone attached to cable we have had nothing but trouble and it started out with the email not working and they fixed that but now the computer is so slow at times or does not even work right and sometimes the phones are just dead or people can not hear us at all on the other end. A tech came out and just said they are working on it. Why do we have to pay for something that does not work right?

Comcast - Failure to honor advertised cash back bonus waiting since March

I originally swiched to Comcast Bundle package service in March 08 and was supposed to receive a $300 bonus for switching service. I received a confirmation by email that Comcast received my signed electronic agreement. I called to check status of rebate to be told that they never received agreement and I would have to go into service center to sign a new one in May. To date I have been told everything including "the check is in the mail." I have filed a complaint with BBB and am awaiting a hearing with the Dispute Resolution Center. Its the principle do not advertise what you do not intend on honoring.
