I find it interesting that disgruntled customers are banned from the Comcast Help Forums, instead of even attempting to engage them to see if they can help. This problem began with the appointment of "Jessie", self proclaimed "Community Manager", or as her title on the forum says "Administrator" or "Admin 1".

She is also famous for closing threads demonstrating problems with the forum, and refuses to acknowledge any forum or Comcast customer service problems whatsoever. These bans some with no warning.

People post problems regarding customer service, and immediately find themselves banned from the forums. It's obvious that 'Jessie" is trying to portray the image of deliriously happy Comcast customers, who never have serious problems with their service.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

You are 100% correct. jessie is on an ego trip and does not want to help customers, no one at that excuse for a company cares to help anyone. God forbid you point out the truth in the forums as they will ban you immediately.


And any post with even an inkling that Comcast may actually be at fault with a problem will be erased, followed by (wait for it!) being banned. The new administrator seems to be dedicated to the illusion of deliriously ecstatic customers, no matter what.


I was banned a while ago. Simply addressing consistent problems that continue to reoccur.

These days, its not profanity that get's you banned. Its just a unhappy customer who wants to discus problems. Maybe if Comcast actually addressed problems and not try to erase complainers they may have a better service. I am sure Comcast has people who directly monitor and silence customers who have chronic problems.

It really doesn't matter, the Comcast forums are full of worthless advice just like their customer service.

You either keep calling CS until they actually fix it, or just stop complaining about it. Forums are basically good for venting about issues, but of course now even that will get you banned.
