I had account with aldelphia and filled chapter 13 in 2005. They did not show up at BR procedings. In 2099 I called to get cable and made sure to as 3 times if that was going to come back to haunt me!!!!! I was assured it would not. 3 months later they came back and jerked all equiptment out. Every time I paid the put it on the OLDBILL. They had it planed because they never even buried the wire. It is in my exs name now but they still give me a hard time he had a code which I know , I am sick off it. i am on Disability and it is still on my credit.

Comcast absulutly sucks !! Sincebi moved into my house in CT there has been problems ever since.. They disconnected me 2 weeks after getting connected!! They claimed i wasbover due on my account.. Brand new, first time connection how can i be over due in 2 weeks.. Then they charge a disconnection fee AND a reconnect fee. I have been in my new home for about a year and they have been disconnecting me every 3 weeks ...at every 3 weeks. I even paid rhe over due amount volunterally a few time to clean the slate .. Same thing.... 3 weeks later ....yeaap !! Disconnected again ... I hope they dont disconnect my cell phone!! I dont even have cell service with them ..haha. I have delt with 50 agents and a handfull of supervisors. They are NO Help!! Waste of time!! This account is unexsplainable..so is the service!! I have had it !!!

COMCAST rip off

This company rips off it's customers, I don't own an HD tv yet every month for 4 years am charged an HD technology fee of $10. I've called multiple times to complain spending hours on the phone, and using minutes that I PAY for, only to be told if I don't keep the HD digital boxes, I can't access ON DEMAND. Which is also a service I PAY for. Now I call again and find out they DO have a non HD box, that will allow me to access the services I pay for without being ripped off for an HD technology fee I have no use for. So basically Comcast/Xfinity stole $10. a month for the last 4 years. Now they are supposed to be sending me the 1 free box, and 2 charged for additional boxes that I should have had to start with at no extra cost, but I just got the e.mail telling me I will be charged monthly for 4 additional outlets PLUS a DVR that I never asked for, don't want, and don't need. So they finally after 4 years did away with the $10. fee I never should have paid, but then tried to charge me $10. each for 2 boxes I have no need of, and another $10. for a DVR. I didn't order, or want any of this equipment but they want to charge me $30. a month for it. THIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF!! BEWARE, Check everything, stay on top of your account, and AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN!

I called a week or so to make changes on my account with Comcast. Originally my husband was calling to cancel services. Tye answered our call and boy did we get a HUGE surprise. Instantly my husband put on a smile, within a minute or so I actually heard laughter, I walked into the room assuming he was watching TV a comedy or something. NOPE he was talking still to Comcast. This was such a treat, Tye was very honest infact there were a couple of questions my husband asked Tye said " I am not sure but I WILL get the correct answer for you" she then put him on hold a minute or so. Long story short we got bundled into a quad play, Who knew how much we really did NEED a security system. So, this employee really cares and is efficient. We set up a call back for both my mom and a coworker of mine, They were dish customers, After hearing about our experience we ALL are diehard Comcast customers. Thank you so much Tye!!

I am so pissed because this happened to me twice. Overbilled and trying to correct it made more problems then ever. Just about all communications are done in third World countries. Each and every one does not know what the other is doing. You have to explain until your blue in the face. They think it is OK just to draw the amount they choose from your bank. They are not supposed to do that because I don't have autopay. I did check my account and it showed my debit card posted. I do not remember when I did this but probably when I first took out the service. Still, they are not authorized to just go in my bank whenever they want to and touch my money. Unfortunately, you have use tact when talking to a supervisor or at least someone in the USA or it makes harder for you. Fortunately, I did talk to billing in the good ole USA and he was extreamly nice and did promise me a refund. If it was the other way around and dealing with someone offshore, then I would have become pissed and who knows what I would say. They would probably hang up on me anyway. My main gripe is that they keep their hands off my bank. Just getting to talk to a real person, you have to go through menu after menu and if you don't say the right word or phrase, you are not connected and everything is repeated over and over again. What happened to personal communications like is was a few decades ago? Here is what I am going to do and that is to remove my card from their computer and that way they are unable to touch my account. I guess I will have to resort to the old paper standard and mail my payment to them. Too bad!! I am never going to pay anything online any more as this is not the first time I had problems such as this. I do not trust my credit card number on the telephone. Yes, it is safer on-line to a degree.

I think a class action lawsuit shall happened!i recently moved into my house and called to have service they gave me a whole run down on someone prior that lived in the house b4 me owes a bill; and that I had to come to a Comcast office show proof I just moved in etc etc. Did all that iT was appeoved for me to have service set My account up PAID!!$100 deposit got My equipment set And all for them to turn My service off in 2days !! Due to this issue Spoke with a collection supervisor name briana told me iT was out if her hands And that her boss would call me back im still waiting And iTS a week later but to top iT off they gonna send me a Bill for almost $250 . I left numerous messages no call back

I paid an amount on someone else's account.... I caught my mistake and spoke to several call center loser imaginable . All very apologetic .. ha ha... I would get a confirmation number each time. Only to find out you need a receipt number to go along with that.. Patiently waiting, I call back and the automated moroon tells me that my past due amount is exactly the amount I paid on wrong account. I hold for call center employee to resolve situation. It's a run around for weeks. Long story short. You give them any money say goodbye to it. I believe that the policy between corporate and call center is NEVER give money back!!! Stall the customer until there bill is due then apply it to account. That should be my decision how I choose to pay my bill. Corporate America. A bunch of fat slobs...

Trying to find out how they got to the extra charge and dispute it. After about 5-6 phone calls and being transferred around, and 2 online chats, I am told that it is resolved, yet still without getting a full explanation of the charges. They ignor my dispute and without permission take the money from my account and then tell me not to worry, I have a zero balance due. So next month my payment will be shy because they snatched some of the money out! How unconcerned and unethical are you Comcast? What kind of people are you hiring? Will see if today the local unit has handled this properly. At least she gave me some better answers. Next step is the BBB.
