I can't be more sicker for Comcast!! What does it take to get them out of my life?

I have had to contact an attorney because Comcast keeps claiming to "update" my account, but I keep receiving overdue statements from Credit Protection Assoication L.P. , a collection company. I do not owe Comcast anything, and they know it. When I go into the Dale City, Virginia office they keep telling me that they are sending the paperwork to this collection agency, so I keep ignoring their collection notices, but is anything really being done. What do the customer service reps do at Comcast. I can not be sicker of Comcast. From the start my bills were always wrong, and after months of this I decided to contact another cable compay to provide service at my home. I do not have time for this. COMCAST STRIKES AGAIN

Ok, so I haven't been able to access my email account with Comcast for the last few days. Today, I found out that my incoming email has been getting bouncec back to the senders. (mind you I've had this account for about 20 years (through many name changes). I called Comcast tonight and after sitting on hold for quite a while the agent answered. I explained that I could not receive emails through Thunderbird and also could not log in through Comcast. net. After running some "tests" he came back on and said the problem must be with Thunderbird and he was going to transfer me to them. I told him, the problem wasn't Thunderbird as I couldn't log on even through the Comcast site. He said, let me run some more tests at which point we were either disconnected or he hung up, take your pick. I called back and got a very nice lady who told me my account had been suspended. No notes in the record as to why and she could find no reason. She said there were not even any notes made by the previous man I had been talking to. Makes me believe that he really did hang up. The lady re activated my account and I am up and running. I did ask to speak to a supervisor as the explanation as to why it had been suspended in the first place wasn't sufficient. She said he was on another call and wasn't available, she agreed to put me on *** to speak to him (only one supervisor on duty by the way). Needless to say that after waiting a few minutes, I was disconnected and never did get to speak to a supervisor. The plus side, my email is working again. The minus side, I don't know why it was shut off and all incoming emails for the last 4 days have been bounced back to the senders. They probably think I'm dead. LOL

Comcast Billing Nightmare PPV

After spending over 4 hours on the phone trying to resolve my pay per view billing I am done with COMCAST! With in two months I have had over $1000 in erroneous charges for *** and other movies added to my account. Movies were rented in one minute intervals sometime 10 a day in an hour period. Even after Comcast told me they could see they were not even viewed I would have to wait until a fraud investigation was completed until crediting my account. Well guess what, it has been over a month since then, no investigation, no one knows anything, and I have had to start all over again today! That's BS. Now my service has been cut off, I have a $1200 bill, and five hours of talk time added to my cell phone bill. Get this, I told Comcast I live alone and could prove I was at work when a lot of these movies were being rented. Their response was, maybe the maintenance guy or a neighbor was coming into my home and watching movies. You gotta be kidding me! Stay away from Comcast at all costs, you have been warned!

I am in collections cause Comcast charged me for service when I transferred service

I moved in May and called Comcast to cancel my account and set up a new account at my new house. I spoke to a Sherri who I thought, canceled my old account. She certainly did set me up for my new account and gave dates, times and CHARGES for it. In June, I received a Turn off Notice from Comcast so I called and spoke to a Ray, Mike and Darrin who all told me I had no balance outside my new account. Although I read them the account number off the notice, different from my new account number, they did not track me as still having my old account. I thought all was well. Today, Oct 9, I received a collections notice. Brock at Comcast gave me detail about both my new account and my old saying I still had a balance. I thought I canceled it and why didn't the GUYS find my old account when I called in June? Yes, I am pissed!

COMCAST DIGITAL TV IS HORRID AND THEIR DOWNLOAD CAP SUCKS!

I dumped Comcast today for Cable TV. Now I am using Direct TV which is FAR better and I HIGHLY recommend it. Comcast Digital TV was terrible the sound was garbled due to lousy implementation and bad technology Now ALL my channels are digital quality and NO garbled audio. I get MORE channels at a better price. Currently I am using Comcast for two residential cable modem internet accounts and Comcast BETTER not screw with my VOIP phones that my girlfriend Mary NEEDS to use for her work which is counseling breast cancer survivors. In that case we will just get a business cable modem account from Comcast if necessary and then that will do for it. However dumping Comcast for Cable TV is our means of punishing Comcast for two things which are lousy cable iTV service AND the download Cap on cable modem. So THERE Comcast. REALIZE THIS. I am not going to stand for substandard or pernicious services from ANYone ANYmore. I regret I didn't go over to Direct TV a LONG way back, but I have now and am SO glad and HIGHLY recommend that everyone with the Direct TV option USE IT.
